Veronika's favorite place it sitting at the top of the biggest of the 33 waterfalls in Russia. There are only actually a total of three in that area. Since she was a little girl her father had taken her up there every season when they were not frozen over from the harsh cold. She was sad when she moved away from her home once her father died and her mother married some where else. But now that she is older every season she takes a trip up there just to sit and listen to the rushing water as it echos across the ground. She finds it utterly peaceful and always feels the loving and warm presence of her father there, sitting next to her. As she would often bring his old coat and lay it on her lap for comfort as she sits cross legged just on the edge of the cliff where the water dumped over.

To get to the falls is a little tricky as it involves a lot of off roading to get there, and can be quite dangerous. She'll often take a car half way there then walk the rest of the way as she used to do with her father. She doesn't mind the hard trick though, when she was little she would always squeal with delight at every bump or curve of the car. Her father would have to hold her down in the seat as the car would hit a bump and she would almost fly out of the seat. She now sits in the car quietly just looking at the scenery. She'll often take a book or two to read and stay there for several hours before making the trek back down to civilization.

Briar’s absolute favourite place to be is nestled amongst the Zhangye Danxia Landforms in China. They are often referred to as the rainbow mountains (for obvious reasons), and Bri just cannot get enough of them. For him, there’s nothing quite as magical as being surrounded by nothing but colour – nobody else there to distract him from his wonderful appreciation but the whispering wind. Of course, he doesn't just stare at the rock faces all day – no, Bri likes to make the most of his time in metaphorical heaven. One of his favourite things to do there is lampmaking (a special kind of glasswork involving, you guessed it, a lamp), in which he spends hours fiddling about to form perfect little pieces of artwork. He has made all sorts of dainty sculpture, including small flower-based ornaments and most recently ornamental marble sets. If Briar is not sculpting or admiring the scenery, he will most definitely be designing his next set of glasswork, often taking inspiration from the beautiful pallet that is the mountains around him.

Now, you might be wondering – how exactly did Briar Fiore manage to find such a peculiar setting? The magnificent oil painting of a location is situated in the Danxia National Park, and is not something many stumble across on an everyday basis. However, Briar was previously a resident of a small city in Africa, situated right next to a safari-type National Park of which he regularly visited. Being affiliated with such a place meant contact with several other similar sites around the world, and luckily, Zhangye was one of them. As soon as he heard about the magical mountains, Briar jumped at the opportunity to fly out and visit China’s most fascinating geology. He quickly fell in love, and often found himself wondering outside the boundaries designated for the public and into the more desolate zones (often getting lost in the process). In fact, there have been many times that Bri has thought about completely abandoning his home and just living in the fairy-tale that is Zhangye, but since has realised that it may not quite be habitable. He guesses he'll just have to spend all of his vacations in the real-life masterpiece instead.

Dottie’s favorite place is right at home. She feels the most comfortable when at home, where she can snuggle under her blankets and have a nice cup of tea. Lily likes to spend a lot of time in her room; day-dreaming. She has extreme anxiety issues, not to mention being socially insecure and socially awkward, so one night while she was unable to sleep, she took a big step and decided to create a place in her imagination so that she could go there whenever she got nervous. This place is a small sea-side hut on a warm beach. She loves just laying down in the sand, watching the clouds and letting the waves lap up by her tail. While she calms herself down this way, she also finds it's a great way to help her get to sleep. She'll let her imagination take over and she could go on an adventure, and the adventure turns from just being her thoughts into dreams as she settles into sleep. her friends and family have come to respect that if she is sitting or laying down with her eyes closed she's most likely in the little beach hut, or running through the sands of her mind. She's gotten through some difficult times because of this, and now, her world inside her head has become her favorite place to be. She can control the season and the weather, as well as the time of day, so sometimes she will imagine the great big fluffy white clouds, and sometimes she'll look at the beautiful glowing fireflies. Because of this, she also adores the beach in the real world, so she can often be found there as well, but her imagination out ranks the real beach any day of the week. So, in short, her favorite place to be is inside her own imagination!
