Stanny often pretends to be mysterious, and yearns for the attention of his father, who he loves very much. He is always attempting to climb on top of him and watch him, even when he is supposed to be doing chores. His father is his primary role model, who he plays pranks on the most.

Stanny never grew completely attatched to Doll, but still loves to be around her. He never pranks her due to her very non-social nature, but instead likes to make her small gifts that he gives to her before and after a performance to show his appreciation in a more subtle way.

Stanny loves to be an Aerial Silk Artist. He has been called out for being male many times on the account that he likes to practice, but he doesn’t care, or at least doesn’t outwardly show it. His very graceful skill is perfect for the job, as he has to be in order to pull off his pranks.

Stanny hates change, so he would never want to leave the circus, though through that aversion hates travelling within the circus. He often yearns to settle down when he gets older, and use his keytar skills to become a band member. He isn’t very suave when it comes to crushes, either, so that might be a while!

relationship with family:
ridley: xan very much admires his father. he enjoys spending time with ridley and appears to take after him a lot. who wouldn't love loud, charming ridley? the relationship between the two is fun and loving. ridley encourages caswallon a lot and loves seeing him become his own person. with ridley, wallon feels like he can have a fun time and almost forget he's his parent.

doll: the relationship between doll and caswallon is much quieter and caring. they talk without a word having to come out of their mouth. xan has learned to read his mother and cater his actions based on her moods. he has gained his intelligence from her. unlike ridley, cassy feels as though he can come to doll for anything at all and she will listen and help him. doll gives xan his more sensitive, gentle side.

caswallon loves his family. his mother and father are generally wonderful people. i mean - who wouldn't want an acrobat and a magician as parents? they gave him a - in quite literal terms - magical childhood. he grew up with constant magic tricks and the flips and turns of acrobatics. he has given a kiss to a lion and ridden an elephant. wally is a happy kid. however, this lifestyle can overwhelm him sometimes. he still isn't sure if he fits in with the circus yet. perhaps there's something else out there for him? of course, ridley and doll push him towards the life of a magician or acrobat - not a fierce pressure, really just a gentle nudge in the direction. but he also knows they'd be adequately supportive of his choices in life if he chose a different path.

his parents' beliefs have been instilled in wally. he is fascinated by fairies and other "magical" presences. he carries a magical object, like his mother with her adder stone, except caswallon's is a crystal vial charm with mysterious dust locked within it. it is sealed by a golden spiral. a silver dragon is wrapped around the length of the vial and is perched atop the golden spiral, as though keeping the vial firmly shut. he likes to wear it with a chain around his neck or wrapped around his tail. ridley's influence is also very strong. xan adores his father's journal of odd occurrences. he could sit and read it for hours. in an old bookstore, wally found an old, dusty, leather-covered notebook with gold speckles that he purchased and used as his own "magic notebook."
what is his role in the circus?
wally dabbles in both of his parents' expertises. he has performed a lot since he's gotten older, which mainly entailed him doing a couple of flips with the acrobats or a cool card trick along with ridley's routine. he's relatively entertaining. one thing is certain - he was never deprived of confidence. caswallon has also acted as an assistant for the stars of the circus. he basically tends to some errands and basic needs of some important members of the circus. xan has progressed very well in his abilities, and has been doing more and more things on his own. there is rumor of him getting a short segment of his own in a main performance.

despite his growing talents, one of the things caswallon is most interested in is the circus animals. his closest friend is the head animal caretaker, who has allowed xan to periodically house animals and care for them on his own. he would love to work with the animals more. when he is not practicing or spending time with family, a lot of his free time is spent with the many animals that come with the circus.


plans for the future:
xan plans to travel with the circus for a little while longer, see how far it goes. however, he would like to eventually break out and experience a different life. he wants to see what else is out there, what he can do. as a kid with two parents in the circus who traveled a lot, he only got pieces of education. wally would really like to take some online classes and maybe go to a university. he thinks quite a bit about his future, actually. caswallon has considered a future as a journalist, or even an actor or stagehand. he quite likes being able to become a different person and being theatrical.
residence:
since wally is a part of a circus, he moves around a lot. of course, he doesn't sleep in the animal cages. xan has a trailer that has become his home away from home. it is decent-sized, as not buying a house gives you a lot of extra money. caswallon's "room" is a semi-deep nook with a small bed, stacks of books, and odd objects in jars. the trailer is nice enough and fits the lifestyle.
pets/companions:
as mentioned, caswallon is a sucker for animals. his longtime buddy is one of the circus' lions, zephyr, whom xan has known since he was a cub. he has even helped train zephyr. cassy was hoping he would get to work with and show the lion, but has not yet gotten his chance.

wally has also made friends with an elephant, jasmine. jasmine is a sweet, older female elephant that he rode atop as a very small child. caswallon is very fond of her and calls her 'his old girl' and gives her peanuts constantly.

a very good companion of cassy is his hotot rabbit. his name is dwight. xan loves to do tricks with dwight, as it is a classic symbol of a magician. he does, in fact, pull dwight out of a hat and do other various things. he allows him to hop around the trailer often.

perhaps someone he would call his best friend, caswallon's final, closest companion has an odd story. it is a three-legged, grey tabby cat named nessie. xan found dear nessie backed against a wall, back arched, hissing madly as a stray dog advanced on her, growling. soft-hearted cassy chased off the dog and gave the cat some cheese. she was wary of the plumerian, but eventually allowed him to pet her and finally pick her up. caswallon brought her inside his trailer, cleaned her up, gave her some leftover food, and set her on his soft bed to rest. he then ran to his parents, telling them the story excitedly and begging them to let her keep her. they were happy to do so, and the next day went out with caswallon to purchase supplies. he named her nessie after his fascination, the lochness monster, and how the way he first saw her with an arched back appeared like the classic photos of lochness monster sightings of the creature's long body coming out of the water in humps. he is not sure how she got three legs, but xan sure does love her to death.

this comes from an event that happened when caswallon was rather young. he did indeed choke, on a tortilla chip. doll gave him the heimlich maneuver and was successful, but he was very shaken. since then, he has been very cautious when eating.

this fear is somewhat of an irrational one. cassy never saw any mortal wounds, extreme blood, or anything of that matter, but the sight of blood makes him unnaturally squeamish and anxious.

january 2nd, 2015
i got father to take me down to a nearby lake today. it was huge, so much so you couldn't see the other side through the early morning fog, which was very thick today. i was looking out over the vast waters when there, rising from the lake depths as a shy silhouette was the lochness monster! i could see its long, flexible body and just barely make out the slight gleam of its scales. the great beast was there one moment, and gone the next. i told father, and although he did not see it, he told me to write it down. he knows about my journal. i did so, and i thought about his journal, filled with so many odd happenings and sightings. i wonder if my own journal might be like that one day.

february 7th, 2015
i heard some eerie noises coming from some nearby woodlands yesterday evening as i lay in my bed with nessie, so i decided to check it out. after telling mother, i headed into the forest equipped with cameras and sensors and other gear. i scouted the area, looking for something abnormal. all i found was an odd footprint, which i have enclosed a picture of. perhaps i will ask father to take a look and ask if he has seen anything similar. before leaving the place, i climbed into the trees and secured cameras to them, to monitor the activity. if i'm lucky, i will figure out where the noises came from and have real proof of something incredible!

march 18th, 2015
it was incredible! i got both mother and father to go out exploring with me. i had heard that the place had reported many sightings of odd creatures, like bigfoot. with my journal in my backpack and a new camera around my neck, and mother carrying supplies and father with binoculars and a pocket knife, we set off. i was very excited at first. however, after hours of searching and nothing, i was tired and my spirits were down. mother decided we should stop, rest, and have a nice picnic lunch. i obliged. i scanned the area many times as i chewed on a sandwich, hoping something would show up. i saw father point slowly at something, and i quickly turned my attention to it. just barely, through the thick trees, you could see the shape of a man-creature covered in fur with beady black eyes. it stared at us, and then fled in the other direction. i didn't even have time to take a picture. mother says she didn't see anything.

april 21st, 2015
i decided to look for mothman today. i had heard some recent speculations about him, and became curious very quickly. mother asked me where i was going, and i insisted that i had to find mothman. i first searched a couple alleyways and areas where he had been sighted repeatedly. eventually, i ended up on a bridge, staring out over a river, searching for a silhouette. in a flurry, i spotted a large creature, half man half moth, taking flight from some nearby rocks. i struggled with my camera and only managed a blurry, dark photo where you can just make out the body and wings of mothman. i have enclosed it. i wonder if i should show mother and father.
