It's time to finally end this comp!

I went through all the posts a bunch of times and said all of them out loud to see what sticks. You guys are pretty creative, lot's of neat names. Alrighty, here's the winners:

1st place (name of pallio world): Avris by Valenwood. This one really stuck with me for some reason, I kept coming back to it after going through all the names, I really like the sound of it. It feels really nice not having to refer to the pallio world as pallio world anymore. Now I can say Avris instead. Alright, I'll PM you and we'll work out the custom design.

Staumon by Winkatuck - When I first read this one back in April, my first thought was "this sounds like the name of some city". And reading it again today, I still feel the same way. I think Staumon would fit really well as the name of one of the main cities in Avris. I can also totally see pallios and the like referring to it as Staum too. I imagine Staum being the popular name for the city, while Staumon is the official, but not as widely used, name.

Newynne by daisy; - Same as above, I think this one fits very well as the name of like, a town or something. Newynne sounds like a small town that a bunch of travelers end up passing through.

Alright, that concludes this competition, thanks to everyone who entered! And now that we've got a name, I think I can now move forward with the initial plans I had for pallios. Gonna be doing a lot more world development for Avris now.
