Merlin Apollo
Reason for his name, I'm obviously making this up, his grandfather's name was Merlin
and his parents choose to honor him by naming thier son after him. Apollo is pulled
from Greek mythology, like Hercules, and I love names that have a reasoning.

His mother teases him for not being as rebellious and troublesome as his sister, it is a loving tease but at his age sometimes he is unable to tell or not and it can make him nervous or even seriously upset him to tears if he's in a poor mood. She challenges him to think outside the box and has him help her with minor programming, it's not something he loves doing but he does love going out on wild adventures with her.
--Dad
He idolizes his father, the powerful beast that can and will do anything at a moments notice! He loves him to pieces and would follow him to the end of the earth if that was where they were walking too, they both have a slight inability to be still for long periods of time.
--Twin
Referrers to her as Oreo. He dislikes when she becomes uncontrollably rebellious but will side with her on almost anything, even if he knows full well she is wrong. Trouble making is not out of the question when he is with her just as long as he doesn't think it's rebellious.
--Twin Two!
These two couldn't be more opposite of each other, and lord does it show. They fight constantly over everything and anything, especially over anything to do with their mother, Merlin is often irritated by his bother's over confidence and cocky mannerisms.

This scarf? I got this awesome purple scarf from a really old Plumie he was all white, from being old or maybe more gray... He was all old and stuff though! He looked kinda like my dad but not, I guess... umm What was I talking about? Oh! Right the scarf, hehe, sorry. My dad told me that he was my grandpa and this was his scarf, he gave it to me 'cause we have the same feathers and he had the scarf for forever and he really loved me and Oreo a lot I dunno what she got from him cause dad said that was private and to respect others and stuff... For a long time it really smelled like my grandpa too, I mean it kinda does still but everyone else says it just smells like my stinky butt, hehe.

--Past
Merlin was a very quite baby, was never too fussy, didn't cry anymore often than he would have need and learned at a rapid pace. More importantly he smiled easily at anyone and his smile still is infection, even if he's misbehaving with his sister. As a toddler he and Ori made life a living nightmare for both their parents. They could go from sweet and cuddly one minute and in the next demolishing anything they could get their grubby little paws on! Merlin was at this time arguably more evil than Ori.

--Present
Merlin is more an adventitious pup now, more than anything else! He loves going to new places and exploring with his family. He loves going with his father to see plays and watch practices or helping with sets. Currently he's not his mother's biggest fan -he loves her to pieces, yes- but her programing makes his head hurt when he tries to focus and his dad's art is much more fun and freeing.

--Future
There are multiple futures for this one Plumie! He will find love, it will not come easily to him and there will be pain in his heart a few times. A family is not clearly seen but it is a high hope for all. As for an occupation, he has a few jobs at one time, especially in his early adult years. However as a solid job it is possible he will be an explosives expert, using his mothers smarts of coding to create and diffuse bombs or he'll lean more on his father and follow acting, the stage! Anything to do with making something for others enjoyment.

♛"I am not a cry baby!!"
Always the martyr, never the blame, oh how dare you accuse him of such! Zerrin hasn't the toughest skin, His sister's antics and his mother's teasing are sometimes too much for him. Zerrin will cry at nearly anything, silly boy!
♛Zerrin is a solitary boy, often lost in his own thought rather than offering interaction with others. He's fond of being alone, even as a child. Zerrin tends to indulge in frivolous things, including counting leaves on trees, or naming all the passing clouds. Any "job" that will allow him separation from others.
♛Zerrin is quite easily influenced, and he's blessed by a small circle of family (and single friend) that tend to bring him beauty, and yet he rejects it?
That's right, Zerrin is a bit or a wretched child, very selfish, and almost cruel, he's not not fond of strangers, minus the "next door monk" who took a shining to Zerrin. The two sit for hours, in the quiet sanctuary - they share a silent kind of appreciation. They're friends, and odd mixture. Despite his worldly companion, Zerrin still remains a bit of a sour boy.
♛It's pitiful, Zerrin is similar to a poet without words. He's a lonely kid with severe anxiety issues, unable to communicate what he desires, or what is needed. Zerrin wants friends, and he wants to be outgoing and all that his father is, plus all that his mother is, and all that his sister is, that's what he wants and he can't seem to attain or express this. Zerrin seeks salvation in Bodhi, the monk that gifted him his scarf, Bodhi seems to be the only one that really connects to Zerrin. Even his mother who is very close with her son stands in second place. It's uncertain as to why Zerrin loves Bodhi as much as he does, but the adoration is present and mutual. It seems Bodhi helps the young boy with his anxiety, and coaxes him into more social situations. An old brotherly figure sheds hopeful light onto Zerrin's antisocial personality, however, said older brother vanished when Zerrin began to really depend on him. And like that, the boy resorts to his old habits..
but, we all grow up . . .

Adulthood

♛Zerrin has grown into what is a cocky, self righteous boy. But, don't think he's outgrown that cry-baby persona of his, no way. Zerrin is still one fond of getting his way, and he's no stranger to throwing fits in order to achieve whatever it is he desires. Zerrin is possessive, almost to an unhealthy extent. But, those who love him fondly refer to it as his 'dragon like' personality. As if comparing him to regal mythical spirit would calm this raging beast.
♛ Now, Zerrin isn't the brightest young man, in terms of book smarts. He's rather the opposite of intelligent when it comes to factual knowledge. However, this drama queen is fond of thinking on his feet, and he's good at it. Give him a moment's notice and he's already solved your problem. With his suave maneuvering of stressful situations, he's often looked up to as a leader. A position he enjoys greatly, mostly because he get's what he likes.
♛Zerrin is still the same, he's just gotten older . . . Remember, Zerr is never at fault, he's the one always in the right. So this being said, he'd cross the ocean and sell his soul to show you how right he is despite the reality. His solution could be wrong, no matter, he'd never admit to such
♛Zerrin's developed kind of a "I'm better than you" kind of attitude. He likes obtaining things and having things as his. He's no poor boy, as a big contractor in the movie industry, he's one with power and one with money - just the way he likes it. However, Zerrin is rather cold emotional wise. He has problems making friends, and speaking intimately with others. He's good with business, but anything personal is out of the question. He's a bit of a self loathing boy, but his family, and very limited circle of friends are very supportive of him. Nonetheless, Zerrin is always looking to better himself, until he reverts to his old habits.

"Mommy!?"

↺Zerrin is a mommy's boy, no doubts about it. If he wants to know something, he runs to her. Obsidian does like to tease her son from time to time with stories, and fables that get him flustered. Lying seamlessly, confusing the little boy only to gently correct him later. Zerrin is always trying to crawl into his mother's lap while she's in the midst of programing. Through his eyes, he's much, much, much more important that some stupid computer. Though he can be a bit irritating, her really adores his mother, her demeanor and her talents.
↺As he gets older, Zerrin relies on his father a bit more, but Obsidian always seems to be the one Zerrin runs to. Through heartbreak and his own self inflicted drama his mother's a sturdy shoulder, not one to cry, but one to make him feel better. With the playful teasing, and some-what awkward displays of affection, Zerrin's mother is more of a friend than anything. They're relationship is similar to that of best friends. Honestly, Zerrin wouldn't haven't any other way, He loves looking up to his mother, even during his teen years. He fearlessly gives her kisses and tells her he loves her, even infront of friends (friend?) , as if to display how cool she it. He likes to boast about his mother, and how amazing she really is.
↺Even as an adult It seems Zerrin has a shining for his mother. There's a beautiful kind of silent bond between the two. Though Zerrin's tendency to act so snidely effects most around him (negatively I might add) his mother seems to remain indifferent. For him, this is really good new, because it's really hard for Zerrin to open up to others, but his mom has always, and forever will be a safe haven for him. He finds salvation in her treating him just the same as she always would. Zer's been through some interesting personality changes, and it's not easy for everyone to cope with them, but for some particular reason it seems as though his mother has stood fast. To hear the two interact is oddly heart warming. The mix of playful insults mixed with terms of endearment truly display a comedic relationship.
Now don't get me wrong, the two do still have scrabbles, but that's nothing in comparison to the amount of love displayed between the two.

"Daddy!!"

↺As a kid, Zerrin was never completely sure how to make words around his dad. He dad is so cool, you don't even understand, a dash of cocky slayed Zer. Zer always wanted to be as infinitely cool as his dad. Because of how much he glorified his father, Zer wasn't as close to him as he was to his mother. But, no worries, the two share similarities in other aspects! Zerrin starts to pick up his father's attitude at one point. He often mimics his father in the mirror to see how similar they are! Silly boy
↺As a teen, Zerrin starts to look to his father a bit more, less intimidating more so admiration. Zerrin is happy to have such a man for his father, but it seems he still remains closer to his mother. Nonetheless, Zerrin starts to open up more to his father in his teens. Zerrin starts to see more to his father as they both kind of become round characters (from Zer's point of view) Zerrin sees more than a cocky actor, and he starts to respect that. It's an age of realization for Zerrin and his father is included in this enlightenment.
↺Even though they've grown much closer, it still seems as though Zerrin and his mother are closer, but don't be fooled! Zerrin has reverted to childish ways. Zer is very much aware of his negative qualities, and it seems his insecurities are intensified when he's around his father. His father, a grand man, boisterous, and proud. And, despite his best efforts, Zerrin sees himself as meek compared to the likes of his father. Because of this he tends to veer away, and stray from his father's grasp. But, there is redemption! Zerrin talks to his father about his problems from time to time, and it seems they're growing closer through said conversations.

"The Worst!"

↺A sister is not what any young boy wants, not at all. And, for tender little Zerrin, a trouble making sister is a complete nightmare. Suffice to say, the two don't always get along. Granet, Zerrin isn't trying that hard to make up with his sister, rather he tries to distance himself from the girl. Zerrin Isn't the most outgoing boy as a kid, so distancing himself from the one friend he had wasn't the best idea. But fret not, they do have their hallmark moments, siblings are siblings after all. They see eye to eye, on occasion
↺And things hit the fan pretty fast...
Wonder if hormones or just teenaged angst fueled this? Zerrin is often very irritable with his sister, not giving her much of a chance to stick up for herself. She's just wrong, all the time, even when she's right, she's wrong. Everything she does is stupid, every movement is irritating. And the reason? Zerrin is quite jealous of his sister. His sister is strong and witty, a trouble maker, yes, but a cool one! Zerrin feels like he's not much in comparison. He never really vocalizes his feelings, but he's constantly jealous of the amount of friends his sister has. The always envious Zerrin.
↺Now, as Zerrin blossoms into his own person, as he grows, he really regret the way he treated his sibling. He looks at her through new eyes now. He fondly speaks of her now, and it seems as though their relationship has been patched up. Though Zerrin still gets jealous very easily, he speaks about it rather than acting cruel on the emotion. Zerrin grew into the acting industry, much like his father, but as a contractor. This provides him with immense riches, or which he often uses to spoil his sister at this point. He genuinely regrets what he had done in the past, being so mean to her. The two don't rely on money to patch their relationship though, much like his mother, Zerrin opens up to his sister very easily. And the trouble maker doesn't seem to mind lending an ear every now and then <3

"Not that bad ... "

↺At Least he's smart. Zerrin likes his little brother. He loves their matching 'z' names, and is fond of his little brother's attitude. However, Zerrin is rather jealous of his little brother and his ability to speak to others so easily. And another thing who said he could wear a scarf too???? It probably didn't even come from a cool monk either. All in all Zerrin loves his little brother, but he's not fond of some of his tendencies.
↺As a teen Zerrin closes a lot of people off - Zeus is one of them. Here's this younger brother who's not only more vocal, but also much more charismatic. Zerrin is beyond jealous, and can vocalize what he feels. He watches his sibling enjoy life while he suffers, and for that he loathes his brother. He often just stays away from him hiding is all places. Because of his jealousy Zerrin and Zeus split apart. Zeus blossoms and Zerrin crashes. This causes even more friction than before - but on occasion Zerrin will admit to these things, beg Zeus to come talk with him in the night. Zerrin admits a lot of things to his brother, but right after returns to being rude. It's no wonder Zeus doesn't stick around his brother that much. They have a very unusual relationship, that's for sure.
↺ Zerrin regrets Being so horrible to his brother. As an adult he often invites his brother anywhere he goes. Zerrin is desperately trying to patch up all the mistakes he made in the past. With this being said, Zerrin relies on his brother more than he ever has. Despite still being jealous of his sibling and his successful personality, Zerrin leans on Zeus quite a bit. His younger sibling helps him with his words. Things are easier to say if his brother is with him. The Scarf Men seem to feed well of one another.

"The Mentor"

↺Bodhi took a shining to Zerrin despite their clashing personalities. Bodhi is a peaceful boy, one of of calm practices, and Zerrin is essentially a hurricane. Though Zerrin is rude upon first meeting Bodhi, Bodhi is still calm and loving, bestowing a gift to the child, a scarf, a scarf he made. Zerrin is smitten with the modest gift, it's rare to see him without it. What's really important to him about this scarf, happens to be the fact that Bodhi was a friend during a time when friends weren't really existent to Zerrin. An element of enlightenment if you will.
↺as a teen, Bodhi wasn't in his life as much, which infuriated Zerrin. He was his friend! and this time was one where Zerrin desperately needed someone outside of his family to vent to. Despite the advances in the relationship with his father, Zerr is more upset about losing Bodhi in a sense. Where did he go and why? There was a period in his life where Zerrin had so many questions he needed to ask the infinitely wise Bodhi, but he was nothing more than a fleeting memory which really upset Zerrin.
↺Zerrin thought he'd be mad, furious even upon seeing his childhood mentor for the first time in years, but instead he was just a bit cold. There was an odd emotion provoked by the reunion. An odd tastes of bitterness that brought no tears, nor fury to Zerrin. Frigid, all the young man could ask was "Why did you leave me?" Zerrin has remained bitter for quite some time. It doesn't matter that Bodhi returned, it matters that he left, there's no regaining those years. Through Zerrin's eyes there was a betrayal of immense sorts, a cruel unexplainable betrayal that hurt him beyond words. The two still seem close in an odd sort of way. Bodhi is a diligent boy, and he's determined to patch the friendship they had back together.

It's funny how even the rude receive gifts they don't really deserve
With the arrival of a new neighbor, it was custom to greet them, yes?
A young Indian man had moved into the next door home, and the family greeted the man warmly; more or less.
Zerrin's opening statement was something along the lines of
"you're kind of ugly"
As if Bodhi didn't have his own demons, ones that fed off of comments like this, the older man beckoned for the child to follow. With parents in tow, Zerrin followed the newest addition to their neighborhood. The man reached up on a high self filled with all sorts of crafts, he produces a scarf of fine yarn, dyed a rich purple. At the first look at it, Zerrin wrinkled his nose, but the child's eyes spoke more words than his foul expression - Zerrin wanted that scarf more than anything else. Bodhi bestowed the gift upon the young child, smiling warmly. (First lesson, insults equal gifts.) Zerrin beamed, and thanked the man meagerly, the scarf held a sort of comforting aspect. Bodhi chuckled and leaned down to the child's height. "Now, you can only keep that scarf if you come meditate with me, alright?" The older man glanced at his parents, who nodded in approval, with supervision of course. "I feel like maybe that would be good for you attitude little one!" Bodhi ruffled Zerrin's hair, and stood upright once more, looking straight at Zerrin's parents "You're welcome to tag along, meditation is great for the soul"
and like that, an unlikely friendship was born.
For the first few days, Zerrin's parents accompanied him to Bodhi's home (as precaution!) But as the man quickly became a close friend of the family. Zerrin began to spend more and more time there, and Bodhi was right, the effect of not only the meditation, but also their friendship seemed to have a glorious impact on Zerrin's life.
It was circumstantial, the accumulation of that comforting purple scarf, and even through the years Bodhi was gone, Zerrin wore the thing. There was a second meaning behind the scarf for Zerrin at this point, it was a comfort item, something that held the anxiety at bay, even if it's creator abandoned him. Zerrin loves his scarf for that reason, and probably always will. What encouraged Bodhi to gift the scarf is a mystery in and of its own. Perhaps he saw Zerrin's mother adorned in such and felt as though it would be only fitting. Who knows! All I do know happens to be, Zerrin is very dependant on his scarf for comfort in times of need, and he'll protect it fiercely.
