Jik loves to play Okami. He feels a strong connection to the game's style as well as the characters. He loves that a major part of Okami involves helping beautify the land and to protect nature from harm. Much of the game echoes into his own actions in real life, for example often he likes to pretend that he is Amaterasu and will dip his tail in paint/ink/mud/etc in order to mimic the game. He also enjoys wearing a costume that he made himself out of cardboard, also in an attempt to mimic Amaterasu. First off, allow me to say your coding is superb. Very, very impressive.
And I have to agree with the name! A very splendid choice. But, I did have to get down
and very dirty for judging this competition. Everything you did was great but you had chosen
several games and I feel like you could explain their personality(or at least most of it)
with only one.

Paprika is obsessed with Okami, because she believes that she's related to Amaterasu in relation to her own markings. Of course, she knows that she's not a brush wielding god but her childish nature and open mindedness allows her to enjoy the simplicities that the game provides for her. She's basically a child living in their own world of imagination but she does know the difference between reality and her game world. However, she'll crave her imaginary life and return to the game. Thus, bringing her world full circle with taking her "believed" role as Amaterasu's successor.
Although the name isn't my first choice and your coding wasn't
as complicated as other entries, I do have to say that the way that you had
managed to both tell about her 'hobby' and her very cute personality in your
explanation was exactly what I was looking for.
Imagining this little girl looking for her own little Issun in the new world
