name meaning:

aoba's first name was inspired by the main character from dramatical murder, aoba seragaki. dramatical murder is a highly-discussed visual novel/game that is being made into an anime (take caution searching it as it involves homosexuality and graphic sexual scenes at times if you aren't okay with that). it's all about digital things and the blue in his color scheme is similar to aoba's hair color, also blue. lanterne was just because i was watching tangled and decided to give them that last name, but with a little twist to it.

nickname/s:

they don't really have any, but aoba is preferable. they don't like being called by their full name.

gender:

while biologically male, from time to time aoba will encounter their more-androgynous side and prefer identifying as female. other times he's fully male. aoba has a solid point by choosing gender-neutral pronouns, usually they/their/theirs.

I wasn't always like this. A glitch. I used to be normal, I used to be happy. It's not like that anymore but how could it be, do you have any idea how hard it is being alone in a world of other people all the same? It all started when I was younger, round about ten years of age, it was my first day at school. Before then I had been home schooled and never been in water before, things were running smoothly for my first week and then the first P.E. lesson came and I was buzzing with excitement then again so was everyone. Our first lesson was swimming and since I hadn't swam before I was more eager than anyone, the teacher told us to stand at the side of the pool and then he told us to hop in to do the warm up. Biggest mistake of my life. I hopped in, I froze, I lit up, I sunk. The last thing I heard before blacking out was people murmuring about me, things like "she's so weird. What's wrong with her? Stay away from that freak." I woke up and saw a bright light. "Am I dead?" I thought but no I wasn't, I was in the school nursing room. There were people all round the bed just staring at me like I was some kind of painting in a popular museum but the person that my eye caught was my mum. Of course my dad wasn't there, he's never there, but mum was. She had a look of disappointment on her face and it crushed me, why was she disappointed? It's not like it was my fault, but what was it? I still had no clue what happened so I decided to ask and everyone took a step back, no one answered, I asked again. Still no one answered but why? About fifteen minutes later my mum escorted me to her car and drove me home. That night we had a long talk about what happened and then came to an agreement on what it was, I was born an error, you could say there was a glitch in my system. At that time my name was Daisy but we, I mean I, changed it to Nyxis. Ever since that day I've been locked away from other people for my own good. I don't drink anything but apparently, unlike other people, I don't need it to survive. You might be wondering how I get food and the answer is, my glitch somehow allows me to spawn in food and drinks but obviously I don't drink, I might die if I do that. Sometimes I get lonely and try to make it look like I'm normal but it never works, the marks are too hard to cover up.

I don't sleep, I can't. When I was young I could but I'm older now and that means my power has grown. I don't really need sleep anymore and I don't know why I just can't sleep, it's not like I have anything to do so I usually just sit around doing nothing or I go on the internet. Luckily I don't get tired so it's not much of a pain but I think I'd like to experience sleeping again since it's been such a long time and I've forgotten what it feels like, the only thing that I can remember about it is that it's refreshing.


I know I have a temper, it's hard to miss. Since I'm always alone there is no one to tell me that I do and no one to judge me for it but I think people judging me for that would be the least of my worries. I throw things a lot and many things have been broken in my apartment because of it but I found another way to get through the anger. It's not anger management, it's smoking. You might think that it'd kill me but somehow it doesn't and because I'm a.. glitch it doesn't harm my organs.




You might be wondering why I changed my name from Daisy to Nyxis. Honestly, it's obvious. Before I had that little water episode I was all happy and bright but not now and Daisy just didn't fit my new personality or new look. It took me a while to come up with a name I liked and then I was named Nyxis officially. I also go by Nyxy, Nyx or Nixis but because I'm always alone that doesn't matter.



I probably should've mentioned this earlier because it fits into the basics category but I am a homosexual. Why? Well boys just don't seem very nice and girls are more understanding, yes I guess it'd be nice to have someone more big and strong hold me but whatever. Maybe it's just in my coding?



Two months ago I gathered up my courage and went outside. It was horrid, people stared at me left and right and thought I couldn't hear them. Smart people they were, I am a glitch, I have better hearing than others, one of the good and bad things I guess? Carrying on with this story of mine, I was out to buy some mascara because I just wanted to play around with it and try to draw with it. Looking back now I can't really remember what it was for, maybe an experiment of my own. So like I said before I was out for makeup and decided to go into the S.S.K. makeup store and it wasn't very busy, I got two shades of mascara and then walked up to a lady who worked there and she was doing nothing. "Excuse me?" I said lightly tapping her shoulder to get her attention. Nothing, the lady did nothing so I repeated myself but this time she turned around and her eyes widened. She just walked away after that, still holding the mascaras I went to test them myself in the swatch booth and another woman started coming towards me looking like she'd help. "Stop!" The previous lady had shouted from over in the far right corner. "She is messed up, don't help her!" Everyone froze, everyone stared, I of course left and never went out again. How rude of them.

I currently do no own any plumies and originally I wasn't going to enter for her. The more I thought the more idea's I got for her and so I decided to enter. It has been so much fun creating this form and although currently I'm a busy person I have managed to complete most of this. If this was a miracle competition I would win but looking at other forms I can see that there is quite a bit of competition I wouldn't mind getting a RU but that would also be such a challenge to obtain one because just look at this beauty! Look at all these wonderful forms, obviously not everyone can win because then that'd be a waste. It's been such an honour to compete for this plumerian and the best of luck for all of you

Born in a lab

Martha had her hair flowing behind her as she walked, her wrinkly skin showing and her eyebrows raised. She, a human researcher of a Plumerian had been put in charge of trying to recreate their species by gentical mutation. They had researched for months with nothing, nothing at all. Martha took her two assistants, Jeromy and Carla to search in there old files. They looked for hours and then headed towards the back of the files and saw a bit of a glow in one of the corners, Jeromy went to it curiously. He saw a little Plumerian, glowing green feathers, vibrant green eyes, it had a black bob of hair with a glowing blue at the ends, and on her shoulders,nose,paws,cheek, and inner ear had the same glowing blue but in a pattern that looked like the inside of a motherboard. Jeromy called out to the others that he had found a Plumerian. Martha and Carla ran over and saw Pixel. They were astonished. Jeromy reached out to touch her and drew his hand back in pain, the Plumerian had zapped him. He warned the two ladys and they somehow coaxed the Plumerian back to their lab. They put her in a cage and wemt back to check there research. They came in and gave her live food everday. They watched her catch it just like a normal Plumerian. In a few years she was full grown and the cage was now a replica to part of the Amazon. The scientists were still studying her but Martha had passed away. Putting Jeromy in charge he named the Plumerian Pixel. After no luck in research a couple years later the employees quit and Carla and Jeromy were the only ones left. With no funds to continue research they set Pixel free. Pixel ran into the wild and was naturally drawn to the Amazon. It was a long journey with no friends but, Pixel made it. She was now deep in the Amazon by a big river. A snake slithered behind her in the trees and came close to her. It leaped at her its maw opening, poisenous fangs touched her fur but then the snake was zapped. It hissed and tried again. Pixel was ready for it and hit it with her mitts slamming it to the ground she electrocuted it until it stopped moving.''ÐêåÐ.'' she muttered. She walked around in the forest and came across Instert best friend name here she looked at the Plumerian through the trees and stuck her head out green eyes glowing. She looked at insert bf name she moved in a bit closer. She pondered what to do for a minute before deciding that she would check to see if it was friendly so she pounced on the other Plumerian accidentally shocking them. When the other cried out she jumped off . Her ears peeled back she looked sadly at the ground she wasn't normal , her first encounter with another Plumerian and she hurt it . Failure. She sighed
