Mothers day: This past Mother's Day was the second day I was at my new job. I work at a tea room in a picturesque and historical town close to where I live. Since Mother's Day weekend is our first weekend of the season and one of our busiest, I had to work the baking shift on Mother's Day. I did spend the evening with my mom but as a gift and to make up for me being gone most of the day, I had her favourite flowers delivered as a surprise. When I got home, we had a lovely dinner in the garden and spent the rest of the night talking.
