Beach Time Encounter wrote: The sand felt almost plush against Takara's bare, grey pawpads. The grains of sand each held a similar tempurature, apparently, as the soft ground she was walking on was of a nice, cool feeling. Albeit the chilly sand's temperature, the warm breezes of summer ruffled her fur delicately. It was a beautiful contrast of temperatures, and the tangerine furred girl found herself reveling in it. It was quite relaxing, if she said so herself. Yet, as if to disturb her peace, she picked up on another's presence by sound.
She whipped around, cerulean eyes suddenly emotionless. Who was there? Who would be the one to trample on her rare relaxation moment? She mumbled something in a rather annoyed tone under her breath, to lightly it was unhearable, as Takara's sky orbs at last spotted the intruder who was... Well, intruding, on her serenity. They were a stranger, pure steel gray with red eyes. Oh, how joyous. They were staring at her. And so she stared on back, expression unreadable.
At last, the silence broke. And the dark starred plumerian was the one to do so. "Um, can I help you?" Takara puffed, tone drenched in annoyance. As she awaited her response, the stranger sat down, and randomly whacked the bush beside them. At this strange notion, Takara was slightly unsettled, but didn't show this. She was trying to figure out what on earth they were doing, when the blank grey being finally responded.
A raspy voice rung out, the source being the gray muzzle. "Yo. I'm in need of help. Because I'm aweso~~~me!" The last part was sarcastically spoken, Takara noticed, before a mild retort left her. Her own tone was samewhat sarcastic at the end.
"If you are so awesome, why would you need my help? Anyways. No, I won't help you, if you're so awesome, bye."
"Oh, c'mon! I need directions."
"Do you have eyes? There'a a map right over there, and you're staring dead at me. I know you can see. You didn't even introduce yourself, even."
"Fine! I'm Bob."
"Bob?"
"Now, you introduce yourself, miss I criticize everything?"
"First off, you have no idea I'm a 'Miss,' thank you very much. Second, name's Takara, and I was having a good day."
"OHHHH what happened? I'm sorry 'boutcha ruined day, what happened?"
"You. You, are what happened. Now, what?"
By now, Takara was flooded with annoyance, and twitched her ear. Her tailtip flickered about like an angry cat's. She was vru irritated by now, but still, took a deep breath in an attempt to calm herself a bit. As she did so, she noticed this "Bob" person hesitating, and kicking a rock. What could be so aweful, that he would be procrastinating telling her, Takara wondered?
"I want to ask a girl out for the first time." he finally said at last.
"Um... Good for you?" she stated in an off tone, tilting her head. "But what bussiness of this is mine?"
"You're a girl! What would you want a guy you met at a social gathering to, um, I don't know... Ask you out if you didn't know eachother very long?" he was blushing now, as if picturing this special girl.
"Um, I wouldn't. At all."
"Wait, what?"
"Sorry, I can't help you. Bye."
Turning away, Takara honestly hoped things went well for the boy. But in all honesty, she had never been asked that question. And how would she especially answer it? Girls who were friends first... That was her territory with that dating prospect. Not random guys she barely knew. She wouldn't even go out with a girl she barely knew; how could she help him? In all truth, she just didn't want to spoil his chances.
And so, off she went as the sunset, blood pressure evening out once again as she walked into the said sunset, off to find a spot where she could watch the sun bid it's daily farewell to the land. In peace. In quiet. Alone.

Shimmering sun rays rose in the sky, and as Takara opened up his eyes, they were exposed to this blinding set. His said cerulean optics now stung from these blazing rays, as if to put a damper on the start of his planned day for "chilling," so to say. He vigorously shook his head. Never before had he experienced this sensation! The orange coated being had no idea light could be so painful.
This sensation had to be the most uncomfortable thing he had ever experienced. It was the most uncomfortable thing to wake up to even since that porking, prickling, green thing fell on his tail in the middle of the night when he was just a little kid. Only, this was unremovable. Takara could not see or touch light. What if it never went away?
And what were these... Speckles of light clinging to his vision? Maybe they were the source of his agony, he thought up. Yeah, that had to be it, right? Maybe the light had left a physical object on Takara's eyes. Nothing else could do that... Right? Raising a paw to his face, he tried to reach for the spots. They should be right...
"OW!"
He let out a yelp of pain, followed by weak whimperings that Takara could look at with shame later on. But he didn't expect it! This wasn't fair! They should leave his eyes immediately! These sickos were hurting him! They had no right to be! He wanted to see. He wanted the stinging to be gone. He wanted to be able to focus once more. Like this, there was no way he could do that.
The pain was menacing. The pain was annoying. The pain was... Gone?
The spots were atrociously distracting. The spots were agonizingly worrying. The spots were also... Gone?
Takara took a moment, dumbfounded what had just happened, again? He remembered it so clearly. Yet it wasn't processable. Did that just happened? And, really, what had just happened? Did light attack him and leave him be scar free? Did he just survive a brutal attack? Or, was it all made up up in is head? How many times would he think this before getting an answer? What just happened?
And all this happened in the mere minute of Takara's day.
