Artemisia. When you think of a name like that, you think: elegant, shy, and full of flair. A mare that was wild but still in her limits, free-spirited and ready to run when she needed to. She was perfect, like her name. But Artemisia was quite the opposite. She was bound to invisible chains, ready to break them at full blow. She is always full of adrenaline, and ready to fight when it was time. She wasn't flighty. She isn't afraid, nor predictable. She didn't like to follow the rules, and done many things on her own. She would challenge any Equid who dared to challenge her, with enough confidence.

You would surely hope for her to listen to you, not cutting back and lashing on every word you say. She is bold; confident and full of courage, not worrying about the consequences she would face if she said or done them. Knowing she is unable to breed, she is sure not to waste her time with love, but do what she does best: fighting and living free and seamlessly full of life. She is quite cunning in a way, she is sure to lead the enemy away from the herd without a scratch. She is surely the risk taker, but she isn't exactly willing to save anyone's life without something in return. If you met her, you may never be sure if you should trust her with your life or not.

Under the hard shell, she's truly the opposite she is usually seen as. She still has her vast intelligence, and she doesn't lose her strength. It isn't a physical change, something you would see in front of your very own eyes like a horse sprouting the wings of a Pegasus. It was something deep inside. She doesn't entirely dislike how she behaves, nor has a reason for it. It is simply how she was. But, she wanted to change, sometimes. She has many wishes and dreams that she wanted to pursue, but most of her personality got in the way of it.
