If I won I want the quipping to be: None at the front, perhaps. But instead it comes from behind, diagonally upwards in a dark(ish) brown tone before fading towards the centre of the body , maybe combining it with a bit of filled in quip -- kind of representing deceiving fog/mist. Along with that, maybe some quip-like markings on the face that looks slightly monstrous.

If I won I want the quipping to be: I would really have to see him first before I decide. I have two ideas though to go with his base colouring. One is doing a drastic difference to the base coat and going with really dark quipping, something that gives him a dramatic look. I am thinking a lot of quipping that covers good deal of his body. The other idea was going a very pale colour to make him look more like his name, with the quipping around his face and neck, maybe his barrel or haunches. Again depends on how he looks when unwrapped. I have some ideas but it is hard to decide without looking at him, I hope to match his name with his quipping apperance.
