and he intends to keep it that way.

frequent dreams
they are reoccurring. haunting. unfair. and it all started when he was a boy.
at night, aisling would rest his head to sleep and think about his happiness.
His love for life.
But when the night came, so did the dreading. Feelings of pain and remorse for
loosing his father. It sounds cliché but how many stories have you heard that
involve a mother's death? Too many. But in this case, Aisling's father took the
bullet.
In his dreams, Aisling would be running. Running far and fast. Away from whispering
darkness. Like clouds of black, snatching fingers that grabbed for his ankles.
Inside he could hear his father screaming 'help me! astro boy, help!'. No one
knows what he meant by astro boy, but it was Aisling's new spiritual nickname.
When he was far away from the darkness, Aisling would find a cave to hide in
and attempt to make peace with the gods. And then, the gods would become
angry and the darkness will corner him. But the scary part is, as they choke
him…
Aisling can see himself, like in third person. Or a mirror. He sees himself
die. The darkness chokes him, and then he suffers and dies.
Aisling knows its a dream, but he is very cautious with his life. He does barely
anything 'wrong' or 'bad', as he is afraid that the gods will kill him.
