Username: Todd.
Name: Echo
He was named after the sound that bats make to help them on their flight during night time. The Echo is basically produced when the sound waves, that work on a 3D like plain, hit an object and then part of those waves are reflected over and get back to the bats whose big ears work as sonars catching this sound reflection and telling the bat that something is in the way and also is the way of how some insectivorous bats find their prey. I gave him this name because Echoes are the more important things and also are what people usually connect with bats.
Gender: Male.
Even though he would be an utterly cute girl I pictured him out better as a fluffy utter huggable little boy.
YFS? Yes, ype C.
I'd like him to stop at teenage base ^^
Extra1: Clumsy. Silly. Funny. The Eternal Child.
It seems like the odds were really on his favor. Usually being rather gracious on their nocturnal flights and having the awesome ability to live without much trouble on dark spaces like caves and such, bats are creatures made for dark spaces. Echo in other hands is something totally off this. He is always tripping and bumping into things because he simply doesn't sees them, well that or he really is pretty clumsy and simply can't help it.
Other then clumsy, Echo is very silly as well. Not in the sense of being stupid but in the sense of making cute silly stuff and always having a joke about this or that hidden on his sleeves. To speak the truth he loves making people happy, be it to just cheer them up off a bad time or simply to see them laugh. For that reason he is not only silly but funny as well.
Some also consider him an eternal child. Being like he is his soul seems to never get old and, in fact, Echo would have a bad time on having to 'grow up' to be serious. For that reason people seem to not enjoy the fact of him growing up very much.
Extra2: The End of the Cave.
"Hey... Have you ever wondered what is down there in the end of the cave, Mr. Stone?" Echo asked quietly staring at a stone he had drawn a smiley on with some berry juices. The stone didn't answer, as expected , and the young bean sighed softly pushing himself up to his paws from his laying position, "Well.... I guess I'll have to figure it out" obviously he could have asked his daddy or any of older siblings but... It was just a way more fun to explore by himself, wasn't it? With that in mind and determined smile on he made his way down to the back of the cave.
Even though he couldn't exactly see properly he could hear pretty well the sound of water dripping and also the one that those small crawling creatures did. Since curiosity was a stringer factor then fear, Echo kept walking. His eyes soon actually finding an interesting colored light coming from the cave's ceiling. Looking up then his eyes shone with that odd light and awe, just above a cave lake there were thousands of glowing worms.
The strange animals gave the cave's ceiling an 'outer-space' look and Echo could swear this was like a night sky with blue stars. "Wow...." he whispered more to himself then as he sat down curling his tail around his paws, he could stay the whole day staring up at them... That was until he started wondering how those things tasted like. He flickered his ears back and forth then tilting his head to the side, we're they poisonous? Did they taste good? Did they taste like... Light? Actually, did light have a taste at all? He would go outside later and stuck his tongue out for the sun to try and catch and glimpse of favor. For now though he would stay here watching those things... Until one of them fell into the pond.
He watched as the light glue colored worm made a small splash into the small pond there. Now though that he was looking into the crystal clear water he could notice that there was life inside that as usual. Various little fishes swam around the place. Echo pushed himself closer then laying on his stomach and placing his front paws into the water to watch them better. As he looked closer to the little fishes he actually noticed something odd and interesting... Those little fishes didn't have eyes at all. "So weird.... So weird... I wonder why is tha- oh my Beans! Is that a ghost crab?!" he jumped up. No, it wasn't a ghost crab, it was just a purely white one that moved grabbing the worm then disappearing into the sand with it.
The small bean kept staring at that for a few moments before pushing himself back up to his paws. He looked over at the other end of the pond, what else did this cave have hidden on it's depths? Oh... Whatever it was he imagined it would be something awesome... A treasure perhaps? The thought brought a rather big smile to his face and pounced back to the entrance, obviously bumping into many rocks on his way. He hurried over to his father then, eyes shining.
"Daddy! I need a lantern!" he explained happily, his father asked why he needed one, obviously, and Echo just smiled wider, an adventurer look on his eyes. "I need a lantern... Because I have an expedition to go! To where no dragon had ever dared to go before, to find new creatures and... And... Maybe even a treasure!"
PS.: I shall continue the story... If I win the bean ^^ it would cross the words limit if I kept going.
