Seiko
Means exquisite, success, or sincere child.
19 years
"That was great, mama!" Said the young jellybean dragon, coming home from the Japanese theatre with her mother and owner. "I want to be in the theatre whenever I'm older."
Seiko's mother smiled down at her. "Perhaps you will be, sweetheart." Even though she was sure that she would eventually grow out of it. But no. That was the start of Seiko's love of the arts.
Not once did little Seiko discard her love for singing and dancing. She often practiced dance routines and singing outside or in the living room. And she loved the attention that she would always get from neighbors passing by and her mother and owner. She would sometimes put up curtains and make an audience of her mother and stuffed animals to preform to.
Sometime later, she was given a pensil and paper in one of her teachings. And she began drawing dancers, and writing her own music. And that was start of her love for painting and drawing, and writing.
One day, she was studying a dance and song. And now, with her knowledge of details, she noticed how beautiful and amazing the dancer's dress was. And she began drawing it. That was the start of her love for design.
Whenever she wasn't singing, dancing or performing for her mother and stuffed animals, she drew and painted and wrote new songs to sing. Week after weeks, Seiko would paint and draw, and put her work on the walls. Then she would improve and make new paintings and drawings and replace them with the ones on the wall. She never threw her paintings that she took down away.
After years, Seiko began trying not only Japanese arts, but others as well. Mostly European arts, such as French and German. She sometimes tried American as well. But she always preferred her peaceful, traditional Japanese music and artwork.
Seiko could, and still can be, found in her own little world, painting beautiful woman in beautiful dresses while humming and tapping her foot.
Even now, at 19 years old, she still loves to paint, design, sing and dance. And over the years, she has sharpened her skills to a razor sharp edge. Her singing can be compared to that of an angel's. Her dancing skills, as thorough and graceful as a swans. And her artwork can often be mistaken for a well taken photograph. And she still hopes to someday be able to perform for others.
(I'm so sorry if this is too long. I tried to make it as short as I could.)
