Supposedly it is an angel's sign to him, he thinks the feathers are saying "I'm here to protect and look out for you" or '"I'm here to help you".
Short Personality:
Chester is a humorous bean and always goes for the joke. He'd do anything for a laugh, heck he'd go to time square and hand out lemons with a shirt that says "LIFE" on it.

What do feathers mean to him: He found them in his hut after the fire killed his family, the were the only things that were not turned to ash.
Short Personality: He is a tough guy but when he does not feel threatened, he is shy and is silently thinking about that one dreadful night. He yourns for a loving owner who will give him the love and care that he needs and deserves.

Name: Whisper Song

What do feathers mean to him:
Whisper Songs feathers are the telepathic link between he and his blue jay companion, Jeers. Jeers came to Whisper in a dream, guiding Whisper to a large oak in the middle of a field. Jeer told whisper to find this spot in the waking world.
Whisper Song startled awake and searched for the oak. It wasn't long before he came upon it -- there was a shares king from the tallest branch of the oak! It was a Bean youngster!!! Whisper calmed down the young bean and made his way up. Eventually, both returned to the ground. Whisper looked at the base of the tree... There were 3 blue feathers lying there; as if almost set out for him. Whisper reached out for them and as he did the voice from his dreams spoke "thank you, strong Whisper Song, for listening to your dreams. I am Jeers, a blue jay spirit that will guide you to Beans that need assistance... If you choose to accept your mission take my feathers. May they never leave your side."
Whisper proudly took the feathers and has been telepathically connected to Jeer ever since; helping Beans in distress.

His name is Percy.


Percy sees feathers as beautiful things, and sweet memories. He thinks they are such pretty items; different sizes, shapes and colours, all from different birds. The curved shapes of some, and long thin ones too, as well as short downy feathers that tickle his nose. They remind him of hot summer days when the birds fly sluggishly around, when he would laze in the shade of a great tree and watch the feathered creatures flit between the branches of trees. Stray feathers fall from the treetops and he would collect them, keep them as a memory of that particular day. Other feathers remind him of cold wintery days when he would rug up and go explore in the snow, finding a dull coloured feather sticking up from the stark white landscape. Another feather he collected in autumn, one of a browny-orange hue, and it reminds him of the crisp, fallen leaves under his paws when he picked it up. Each feather he collects holds a different piece of his life, a different memory.
His favourite feathers, however, are his bluejay ones. He wears them on his ear and tail just so he will never forget the day he got them. Percy says it was a glorious, sunny day, and so he went out to enjoy the morning. He was wandering through a pine forest, surrounded by his favourite trees, with the tweets and calls of bluejays around him. He was watching the sun filtering through the treetops when he heard the weak chirp of a fledgeling blue jay. He was very quiet as he watched it hopping around on the forest floor and after a few minutes it had gone out of sight. Percy was so happy to have seen this beautiful fledgeling bird, he was grinning from ear to ear when he returned home. When he was asked how his adventure had been, he held out his paw to reveal three perfect blue feathers. He often says that was the favourite day of his life so far.


Percy is a sweet and kind bean; he has a good soul. He would never give up if somebody needed help, whether the job be great or small. His smile brightens up people's days, and his twinkling eyes greet you merrily. He is adventurous, playing around outside and discovering new and exciting places, and often on adventures he will bring back numerous feathers for his collection. Percy is curious, investigating things all the time, whether it be a new riverside cave he found, or the large, overfilled pantry in the house. His calm demeaner is infectious, and you can't help but settle down if he breaks up an arguement with his persuasive words.

What do feathers mean to him:
The freedom of life, and that of a special friend who taught him that freedom.

Short Personality:
Jayzon is the go with the flow type bean, he is apt at adapting to any situation and can easily break up fights with his calm reassuring persona. He's normally referred to by younger beans as the peace keeper for his unwavering judgement and kindly ways. Although there is a hyper passionate side to him others are surprised he had when it springs up spontaneously.
Overall he's the go to guy when problems plague you, or you just need cheering up (He has a very witty, positive view on life).

Tyson was at a bad point in his life. No one seemed to trust him, or wouldn't understand, and take the time to get to know him. Only one point in his life did that weight get lifted. When he met his bluejay. After a few years, the Bluejay sadly passed away, and Tyson kept two of the feathers in remembrance of him.

Tyson is calm, yet very aware of his surroundings. Unlike most JBD's, he very seldomly is able to look at the bright side of things, and tends to think only of the negative. he weighs himself down when he fails, and gives his good deeds to others, as if he had never done them. He has a naturally kind soul, but it easily overlooked by other JBD's because of his loss at seeing the brighter aspect of things.

What do the feathers mean to him?: When he was no more than a child, Denver had gone on a holiday to a tropical island. He had found a small injured blue bird and had decided to,care for it, every day he cared for it, it shed a feather, Denver collected these feathers and kept them. He decided to give the people that meant a lot to him, e feather each. So the bird, his parents. And he has one yet for his mate, so they mean an awful,lot.
Short personality: Denver is the, most outgoing or rebellious bean, but he is not shy. So sensible is the way to put it. He fine pleasure in the smallest of things, and prefers either being alone, or with one other person than being in a group. He enjoys exploring, finding new places and every time he goes somewhere new, he collects one memory that means a lot to him. Denver is quit concealed, and he doesm't tell many people a lot about himself, which always leave people wondering, so I suppose he is mysterious. But if he is teased, or someone is mean to him, he answers back, loudly and rude and stands up for what he believes in.

To him, feathers mean flight. The thought of flight when he sees feathers give him a lot to look forward to, and they give him hope.
Short Personality:
Galaxy is a hopeful and determined JBD. He always "searches for the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow". He is short-tempered and looks out for others. He can get pretty well tempered sometimes though and gets pretty mad.
