I decided to take Jack Frost back to his Anglo-Saxon/Norse roots,
where he originated from in legends. In Viking lore, he is known as
Jokul Frosti, hence his name. It means 'Icicle Frost.'

p e r s o n a l i t y ;;
They say, "Take pride in your work," and that's
exactly what Jokul does. He's always bragging
about how superior he is compared to his peers,
and no JMD could ever, ever reach his level of
majesty. 'King of Tricks' is Jokul's self-appointed
title, and though he stresses every JMD to call
him that or 'Your Highness,' they never do. Why?
Because in their point of view, it's a little act,
simply a show to poke fun at. Yet in Jokul's eyes,
they're all just being daft. Silly dragons, he's
obviously much more advanced than all these
primitive creatures! And to prove his point,
the young JMD goes on a nightly trip, pranking
those who mock him. Ever wonder where your
spoons goes when you need them? They always
wind up in his grasp, one way or another. Despite
his recklessness concerning everything else in the
world, Jokul is quite the sneak when it comes to
jokes. Careful are his steps, making sure not
to attract too much attention.

When meeting new JMD's, you must leave a good
impression with Jokul, or he'll just think of you
as you presented yourselfin the first place.
Very rarely does he give out second chances,
but when he does, it's not like "Alright, I'll
give you a second chance," not a clear warning.
He subtly hints it through body language, and
you must pick it up quickly, for Jokul is not
patient with stupid dragons. Unless he's trying to
impress you, which, again, is rare, he doesn't
interact much, and prefers to stay the lone wolf.
Too manycooks spoil the broth, and Jokul learned
that the hard way.

Will I care for him and not forget him? Of
course I'll care about him! If I don't I give you
permission to sit on me and slap me with a fish.

Frostbite is an ambitious Jewel maned Dragon, always over-acheiving. He wants power over others, and he loves being the leader. Frostbite isn't power-hungry, like you would think. He wants to earn the title, rather than cheating his way into being powerful. He is a hard-working JMD, half of his time is spent working.

{L A Z Y}
Suprisingly, Frostbite is rather on the lazy side. When he's not working, he's usually lazing around with a mug of either tea, coffee, or hot cocoa. This is probably because of his lack of sleep due to work. He isn't a really active, or athlectic JMD, and is more inside then outside.

{G R U M P Y}
Frostbite can be a bit grumpy. He is mostly going to grunt to you in greeting unless you know him well. He isn't much of a talker, but is more of a quiet guy. He can be quite rude at first, or will ignore you. It's hard to gain his attention, or even make him smile.

{P R O T E C T I V E}
Frostbite is rather protective. Despite him being the hard worker he is, he takes care of his friends and family. He will make it his personal dream to hurt those who hurt others. He is pretty selfless and caring under that grumpy mask. He never leaves you rside [unless he has to work] and will be there for you when you need him.

I will be as dedicated and loving to him as I can <3
I find it rather impossible to have him collect dust. I also would find it hard
to forget him, because I ahve never had a character like him.
I wouldn't look at him as just another JMD that I like.
I would look at him as one of my most loved and treasured characters.

I am still trying to learn how to draw JMDs, so that they actaully look like JMDs,
so I may not draw him for a while.
however, I will use him in stories, and the RP for JMDs.
I will make him a post with more details about him,
and write poems about him.
just as I do to Ginger.

I currently only have one JMD, which is Ginger.
I love her so much.
but I never write her in stories because I wna tot wait for me
to have more JMDs in it.
so if I perhaps win him, I will definitely have him in the story.
I have so many plans for him and Ginny in the future.

I thought these were going to be easy questions -.-
I look for someone who is trust-worthy amd loyal. I would
be able to tell them anything and not worry about the telling
anyone else. I also look for someone who isn't afraid to get
in trouble, as I still got a few tricks up my sleeve.

I want someone who is complete opposite of me.
They won't annoy or pester me when I'm working,
but will still try to get me to do fun stuff. I want someone
fairly friendly, independent, mature, crazy, and mischevious.

The reason why
Well, I once had a pet named
Topaz, and if you must know
what kind of pet he was,
he was a chicken [I can feel you
judging me cx] he was such a spazz
so we'd call him 'Tospazz'.
The kind of chicken he was was a
silkie, one of the fuzziest most
flightless and awesome chickens out there.
Of course I named him Topaz at first because
we thought he was a hen, and it fit his
personality and reddish gold colors.
He was a partridge colored silkie.

And who's this young dragon?

I've decided on Tourou for this handsome
dragon I was going to name him
something simpler like 'Jack' 'Frost' or
'Jack Frost, but then I thought
I'll name him Lantern! because
of his lovely eyes. they remind me
of the light inside a lantern that
would guide you through a snow storm.
So, to dress up his name a bit I looked
up how to say it in Japanese; Tourou,
it was perfect! It fit him, especially
visually. I figured his personality
would fit it perfectly as well.
I wanted something different for
his name so of course Tourou
fit that category as well, and now
I can't imagine him any other way.

Tourou is nothing short of one handsome,
intelligent male Jewel Mane Dragon. Even if he could be a
she I'd still see him as a he. He's just NOT feminine.
The dark bold colors, sharp designs and his scarf top
it off fantastically.

Stubborn
Tourou shows great persistence and determination
when he's set his mind to something or
convinces himself he's right or is putting up a good
argument it is extremely difficult to
change his mind.

Clever
Tourou is quick to understand, learn, and devise
his plans and ideas, he's very intelligent. figuring
things out comes easy to him and he enjoys tough
riddles.

Quick Witted
Tourou is mentally nimble and resourceful;
He can save an embarrassing situation with
a cunning remark and telling jokes comes to
him naturally.

Solitary
Tourou isn't one much for crowds or socializing
in a more "friendly" manner, weather it's in a
relationship as a friend or lover. Though he
does well on his own he sometimes feels lonely
and that other dragons find him cold and
unpleasant to be around.

Unforgiving
Tourou is not willing to forgive those who do a great
wrong against him. though he's not particularly harsh
he has always been proud and irreconcilable. If he feels
that someone has wronged him too greatly he could
most likely become hostile around them.

Personality: He prefers to be alone, though contrary to many beliefs he is not in the least bit cold hearted. Roiyaru likes children and he enjoys acting like a kid himself. He can be a bit of a goofball but can always take hold of things when they start to go wrong. Incredibly protective, whether you know him personality or not if you're in trouble he will come to your "rescue" to say the least. He is very much a ladies man and sometimes he can be found showing off without even meaning to...but overall he is a very sweet and kind individual that just wishes people could look past differences and get along for once.

Of course I would take care of this beautiful little angel. :) I have many adopts but this would be my very first JMD and I have really been wanting one. I've just been waiting for the right one and I really believe that he is it. I love his colors and I adore his design so much, he would definitely be one of my absolute favorite adopts if I did get him<3
