Owner:
Zima.
Name of WoC:
Navsegda
Gender:
Female
Why you chose this name:
Navsegda; it's the English pronunciation of the Russian word, meaning 'forever'. When I saw this beautiful girl, saw what she represented, I knew it was the perfect name for her. No matter what, there will always be another day; forever. It seemed like the perfect name for such a creature.
It's also a name I've had stuck in my head for quite some time; I've just been looking for the perfect character for it to go to. This girl, and what she represents, is perfect for this name, and vice versa.
Short Personality:
Navi is very regal and lady-like. She hardly ever has a bad thing to day about someone, but when she does, it's obvious. Navi has a major need for power, however, and she constantly battles with her sister for more power. While she's very beautiful, Navsegda isn't interested in a mate or such. This girl just wants to lay back, relax, and be with those she loves most.
Navi is very difficult. She is horribly stubborn, but never rude about it. Normally she gets what she wants. Navsegda is very intelligent and well-spoken, and often speaks barely above a whisper. She dislikes being loud and obnoxious, and doesn't really like being in the spotlight. Navi can be very reclusive sometimes, and will go through stages where she doesn't talk to anyone.
Short Story:
It has been years since I've spoken to my sister, Ubiysta.
There's a reason her name means 'assassin'. She is the creator of night, assassin of the day. It is her job to try and take over our world with night; just as it is mine with day.
Uba, her nickname, has called me to meet at twilight, when the balance between our powers is nearly equal. Before she had tried to convince me to meet her at Krasavitsa at midnight, but I refused. I would not die today, or any day soon.
My long legs come to a halt as I see my sister stadin there like a queen. I slightly dip me head to her, but she gives a cruel smile and pads towards me.
"Sister!" She calls, that sinister and locking tone still in her voice.
"Ubiysta," I say in recognition, standing straight so I am taller than her. "Why have I been called here?"
Ubiysta laughs. "Because I want to negotiate with you!" I casually glance around, but I see no one o help my sister. Hopefully this won't turn into a bloodshed.
I don't want to hear her deal. I don't care what it is. But I nod my head anyways, and mischeif gleams in her eyes. "I want the world, Navi. I want the night to take over. If you let me, you will never work again. You can be my co-leader of this new world, as we rebuild everything."
I growl. "You know what would happen of I let you do that!" I snap, taking a step towards her. "If the day dies, I die. My name can no longer be Navsegda! Have you become so consumed by your need for power that you would have me die?" I say harshly, feeling sick to my stomach.
