Jackanore. A very unusual name, and one he despises. He will always ask to be called by a nickname, but the nickname may vary, depending on his mood, and that of the other person. He finds Jackanore a drunkness test for the human family, after all, it can be a mouthful to say when sober. So if his humans can not say his full name, they must be drunk, not just tipsy.

Nickname:

Jack, J or Jaz. He has so many, it can get confusing at times, but any name is easier to say than Jackanore, especialy when in a hurry or drunk.

Gender:

Male, a very straight male. He is slightly homophobic, so beware.

Sexuality:

A hetrosexual, a slightly homophobic one.

Age:

12, nearing 13 years old

Not currently attached, and probably wont be for a while, or at least nothing serious, he needs to grow up a bit first

Friends:

His best friend is Leo, a lion cub that he found wandering around the forest behind his house. Leo escaped from a zoo, and so is cared for in secret by Jaz. THIS is what Leo looks like.
He is also friends with Sea Breeze, an identity confused ferret, believing he is a pirate, and longing to sail the 7 seas. Sea Breeze looks like THIS

Personality:

He is a true trickster, loving to play pranks upon whoever dares to go near. He is not a cruel Lion Dragon, merely a prankster. His idols in life are the cast of Jackass, giving him lots of inspiration for new pranks. Unlike most people, he does not go Trick or Treating, hating that well known tradition. Why would he want to follow everyone else, and do something he would do any day of the year? Most of them wouldn't even play a trick anyway! Instead, he retreats into hiding on this one day, curling up in his home, and getting some rare privacy. Privacy is hard to come by for him, living with a busy family. It is not easy, having everyone rushing around all the time! Even so, he would not trade them for anything, not even for a chance to be on Jackass... Ok, maybe he would for that. Cant really blame him though, can you? Who wouldn't want to be on the set of Jackass? Most sane people probably wouldn't, but maybe J is not quite so sane...

J is a very random guy, he will always suprise those around him. He has a brilliant imagination, enablng him to think up many different pranks, and just some incredible conversations. You can never expect the conversation to go in a normal direction with him around, somehow, the failings of the Titanic will be mentioned, or the greatness of potatoes.

History:

Jaz is very secretive about a few things in his past, but he will share a bit of the basics. He was born into a litter of 2 Lion Dragons, but unfortunately only he survived. He was born on the 31st October, 2000, making him now 12 years old, nearing his 13th birthday this coming month. Each birthday has been celebrated, in style, by everyone else, but J just sulks, hating that they all act like he usually does. His worst holiday just had to end up on his birthday! The family that adopted him was a busy family, but still a loving one. They would all rush around every day, but still find time to care for him, and shower him in attention. He has grown up with chaos, and would not trade it.

Short Story:

Its that time of year again, the time for all little pranksters to take to the streets in joy, the time of year when it is ok to trick people. It was not a happy day for the little black and orange Lion Dragon though, it was a day to hate. Jackanore could not stand this day, he is to Halloween like what the Grinch is to Christmas. So as Halloween had rolled around again, J was hiding in his bed, with his head buried under the pillow. There was no way he would leave his bed. Someone could bring food to him, and carry him to the toilet if he needed it. This was HIS day to sulk.

People around him pampered him this day, hating to see the usually cheerful lion Dragon so depressed. But nothing could cheer him up. The family even put Jackass, to make him smile, but with no success. Nothing could snap him out of it.

So while all the children were getting giddy, dressing up in their scariest costumes, Jaz just hid. The human family went out to earn some sweets, leaving him home alone, planning to share the sweets with J later.

Night fell, and he still hadn't left his bed. Never. Ever. Would he leave on this day. The dreaded Halloween. After all, why should everyone get to do what he does normally? He is not unique, if everyone copies. They are stealing him away from himself. He is fading into nothing. Halloween is eating him.

After hours, the silence of the room was broken by an old grandfather clock in the hall, chiming 12 times. It was a new day. The trial was over. His torture was at an end. Full of happiness, Jackanore bounced up in delight, shocking all those around him, and ran out of the room. He sped from one end of the house to another, making so much noise, everyone who was sleeping shortly woke up.

In delight, he shouted "Now its MY turn to shine!"
