Oh my glub he's adorable ;u; His name would be Minerai, meaning "ore" in French. He doesn't look like an ore, but as I was typing in "oreo", minerai came up. His more normal nickname would be Rai, pronounced like "rye".
Oh yeah, the poem! It's not really the greatest, and I call it "Dreams of the Sky".
On the outside just a tiny bean,
on the inside he can soar.
The breeze passing through large feathery wings
What more could a bean wish for?
On the outside no way to get up there,
on the inside he can fly.
With legs spread out and no turning back
Could he glide throughout the sky?
To touch the horizon his only dream,
to leap through the air his desire,
The bean slowly realized that things like that
were unable to ever acquire.
On the outside a bean who's forelorn and lost,
on the inside a realizing kid.
The dreams and hopes to take to the air?
Well, nobody ever did.
There wasn't a way for his feet to leave Earth
and to fly miles above the ground.
One day he realized he was stuck without wings
His goal couldn't be found.
Wherever just a tiny bean,
with dreams crushed in despair,
Do dreams of the blue sky last forever
Or is there nothing there?
The hopes of just a tiny bean
that are no longer left to meet,
His invisible wings dissapearing forever
The ground beneath his feet.
But then one night after hopes long gone,
the little one had a dream.
The air rushing and gushing around his wings
Was it what it seemed?
He must have had glory somewhere inside
or it wouldn't have started his day,
When he woke up in wonder and began to think,
"I'll believe it anyway."
He didn't have wings or flying things
yet he still learned something that night:
The wish of a boy could still be achieved
Just in a author's view - to write.
Oh god that was a lot of thinking xD Well, the poem is about Rai's dream to fly, and at some point in time he lost that dream. But then he realized that even though it's impossible, there's other ways to break free with his own "wings". He found a new passion through writing. There are no restrictions in either, and they both were (At least flying SEEMED) fun. Besides, he turned out to be good for just a teenager.
Now for why I, and practically everyone else loves him so much.<3
I've tried for Jellybean Dragons. Tried for four, and dropped out of one cx So what, I was scared? Well anyways, unlike most other people on the JBD bandwagon (which is very crowded), I've failed to get one of these sweeties. Any of them would be a perfect first, because all beans are adorable<3
But when I saw Rai, I got off my butt, and felt the need to participate, even if my poems aren't the best. He is just. so. cute! I mean, the multicolored eyes are enough to capture anyone's heart, especially along with those fading neon colors. And he even kind of looks like one of the poisonus dart frogs ^^ His black markings contrast so much in a good way. Plus, I love his tiny little horns.<3 It's like they're growing in, bt haven't fully developed yet, hence him being a teen cx
Well yup, that's why all of us crazed JBD fans love this little guy so much.<3
Plus I have a bit of, well, gift art:

Anyways, thanks for putting him back up for adoption<3 I'm sure that the winner will love him.
