Personality:
If you cannot tell by his name, Vanity is a very proud creature. He takes great care to keep himself looking beautiful, and rather enjoys showing his dashing looks off to anyone around. He will strut and boast about and draw much attention. Needless to say, Vanity is a ladies man. He knows how to lay on the charm and, at times, he can be a shameless flirt.

Vanity may be prideful, but he is not completely mean or rude. He has a heart and will show it to those in need. He will show kindness, compassion, and, if he really needs too, generosity. He has a soft-spot for children, and actually loves to play with them. Just as long as he doesn't get dirty in the process.

Other then making himself look good, Vanity loves collect gems of all types. He will go searching far and wide for any gem to add to his collection. His favorite is the aquamarine.
History/story/poems/ ETC.:
He yawned and streatched his luxiourious body in the sun. His wings rustled before resettling back against his body. It was a wonderful, late summer afternoon. Sunlight filtered through the trees and cast dappled shadows along his royal blue colored body. He took a deep breath, enjoying the smell of the forest trees, wildflowers, and smoke. His eyes flew open and he hopped to his feet. Smoke?! A raucous noise rent the silence as birds suddenly took to flight. Suddenly filled with terror, the young fox shot off through the trees and followed. They had to lead to safety.

His heart pounded and threatened to explode in his chest. He panted heavily as he fought for gulps of clean air, but all he recieved was choking smoke. He was afraid to take to flight incase his delicate, feathered wings would catch blaze. All around him was heat and flame. Trees crackled and snapped under the blaze. All around him was the deadly touch of fire. The fox cried out in fear, stinging tears ran down his face and blurred his vision.

Suddenly, the earth fell from under his feet and he plummeted into the cold waters of the stream. Triumph rose in his chest. He would make it! His tired limbs started to kick and propel him downstream and towards the lake. He was tired and weak and his fur was singed and even burnt in a few places, but he was still alive. He would live to see another day.
