Blueberry decided to take up on the opporunity to enjoy the carnival before getting back to work. He visited all of the booths, one by one, playing games until he had his paws full of prizes. About halfway through the day, he brought his prizes over to the ride and stayed until late to work on it. Later that night, he brought home all of his trophies from the day.

Beebo decides to take a bit of a break today. They've been getting burnt out from trying to fix this ride, and they've been getting very demotivated from failing to make any progress towards actually fixing it. They brush up on some research about the ride while they relax, but for the most part they just take some time off to do nothing in particular.

Jason looked it all over. He had been fixing things here every day that he'd visited, but it seemed like nothing was doing anything to actually help fix the ride. He didn't blame Ripsaw at all for being grumpy the entire time, he was getting pretty frustrated with this thing himself! That said, it was nice that the other Chicoon didn't seem so upset today. Jason decided he'd do something nice for the guy - he seemed to be having a hard enough time already, he deserved a bit of a break. With that thought, Jason set off to get him a nice snack from one of the nearby stalls.

He approached one with your typical carnival food; hot dogs, burgers, corn dogs, pizza, cotton candy, sodas, and overpriced bottles of water. The works. What would Ripsaw be interested in eating, though? He'd have to take a guess and hope for the best. Jason pointed a claw up at the Fruit Burgers and a water bottle. Who didn't like Fruit Burgers? With Jason's luck - probably Ripsaw, honestly, That said, hopefully he'd still appreciate the thought. The food stall worker served it up in a convenient and easy to carry box. One that was well made to ensure that the food would stay warm for as long as necessary, and wouldn't allow the insides to steam up.

For himself, Jason ordered some pizza, cotton candy, and soda. He ate his pizza quickly, and downed his soda at a similar speed. He had places to go. One of the workers helpfully put his cotton candy in a bag with Ripsaw's food. He carried it with his tail back to where Ripsaw was working. On the way there, he found the tool box. Once again it had been left somewhere where it shouldn't have been. How annoying. Whoever it was that had used it needed to stop leaving that thing just anywhere. Who knows what kind of trouble some young Chicoon could get into with the tools in it.

He dropped the toolbox off back at the shed since it was on the way back to where Ripsaw liked to work. Lucky for Jason, Ripsaw seemed to still be doing the same paperwork that he was when Jason had left. Jason walked up quietly and placed the food down next to him. He picked his cotton candy bucket up out of the bag and then shoved the rest of it towards Ripsaw. He gave the other Chicoon a look that said 'You better eat that' and left before the other could protest.

a content expression formed on lime’s face upon seeing ripsaw and sink; he was glad that they were doing alright - at least, from his outsider perspective. if he was being completely honest, lime was getting tired of repeatedly trying to fix the pendulum and making little, if no, progress each time. ‘the ghosts should choose another ride to haunt..’ he frustratedly thought. ‘i just want this to be over.’ he felt bored - this wasn’t how he thought he’d spend his time at the carnival.

sighing, he retreated to the shed to do more research. in case he’s asked about what he’s been doing, saying that he’s been making an attempt is better than saying he did nothing. and, plus, going to the shed would be an excellent hiding spot from the sun and all the heat. [138 words]

Today, Onyx takes a break from worrying about the ride and wants to enjoy a nice day at the carnival. He had brought his companion Flint, too! He had overheard Ripsaw and Sink speaking, but he didn't want to eavesdrop too long; that'd be quite rude! Onyx decides to trot off to other rides and attractions!

Onyx noticed that his stomach was quite empty and if he wanted to have any fun, he should try filling it up first. There were so many options; hot dogs, corndogs, popcorn, chips, burgers, and- Chinese food?! At a carnival?! Heck yeah! Onyx rushed over to the line and was so eager to eat! He had ordered his food and sat in a warm patch of grass heated by the sun. He scarfed down his food fast!

He then continued on to get a dessert; something to help cool himself off in the summer heat. Yes, the second half of his body was completely made of water, yet he couldn't stay cool that easily! He had grabbed a vanilla milkshake, chocolate would be too much for his stomach to handle. He savored this drink as he walked around to find other rides to enjoy; ones that were actually up and running. He had tried some of the rollercoasters, spinning rides, and games. He wasn't very good at the games, but that was okay; he did end up winning a rubber duck!

Onyx was finally getting tired after stuffing himself and riding so many rides. The adrenaline was draining and he was mentally and physically exhausted! He decided to return to his sunny patch of grass for a nap...

Onyx had enjoyed this freedom! It was so much better than worrying about the broken down ride, he was considering leaving the work to the professionals in the end. They may do a better job anyway.

But his eyes eventually did fall on the ride again. Did he make the ride worse? Did he end up breaking the ride even more by trying to help? Is he the reason why the ride has been down so long? Maybe he shouldn't have tampered with it, but if he made mistakes then maybe he could learn from them if he used trial and error? Onyx took a minute to take some deep breaths and reel his mind back in.

'Leave it to the professionals,' he began to repeat in his head. 'The ride will be up and running soon.' This didn't help the guilt he had, though. He felt sick to his stomach with the fear of the possibility of ruining the ride, and his guilt made him nauseous. He shut his eyes and tried to clear his mind in the soft, warm grass.

'Maybe this is all too much. Maybe I should go back home. Maybe mechanics aren't my thing and maybe I was too cocky.' The thoughts just kept rolling in. He covered his eyes with his head wings in shame. He had convinced himself that his effort was for nothing.

How many days had they all been here trying to fix up this ride? Nutmeg wasn't counting, but it had definitely been awhile. As she sat down at a nearby bench and watched a couple of chicoons run by, she wondered why she was even still here. Sure she got mistaken for the maintenance worker (and apparently everyone had as well), but she could always say that she wasn't and leave... yet for some reason she didn't want to leave. Maybe she just wanted the satisfaction of knowing that she helped fix up a ride, or maybe it was just because she didn't really have anything else to do. As she sat there in silence and contemplated her situation, she felt a tap on her shoulder. Glancing up, she saw Cherry smiling down at her.

"Howdy. What's with the long face?" Cherry asked as she plopped herself down next to Nutmeg. "It's just... I'm wondering why I'm still here. It's not like I have anything else to do but... I don't know. I have no clue how to fix up a ride. If it wasn't for you, that ride panel we worked on would still be broken. Until someone else came to fix it anyway." Nutmeg responded, a paw on her chin as she stared at the ride. Cherry frowned, reaching into her bag as she spoke. "I get what you're saying. I just happened to wander in here and now I'm stuck fixin' up a ride. I like a good challenge though- and boy, this sure is a challenge! My pride won't let me leave until this ride is as good as new, so I'm stickin' around. If you don't wanna be here anymore though you can always leave."

Nutmeg sat there, wondering if she should really leave. She hadn't done anything other than give out treats. Sure boosting morale was good, but she felt like she couldn't do anything else.... as she thought about it all more though, she realized that she had a friend here now! Maybe if she stayed there with Cherry she'd actually be able to do something. She wasn't sure why she wanted to fix this ride up so badly, but now she was determined to. Hearing Cherry talk about the ride being a "challenge to her," it suddenly felt like a challenge to Nutmeg too.

Another tap on her shoulder snapped her out of her thoughts. Cherry was holding some cotton candy. "Wanna piece?" Nutmeg accepted it with a smile. "Yeah. You know what? I think I'll stay for a while longer. I'm sure that if we really put our heads together, we'll be able to fix this ride up in no time."

Well look at the ride and barely have any knowledge about machine... Miles attemp to sneak out and have some fun, but look at those two again, Miles noited they have been working so hard try to fix the ride, barely eating or drink anything all day now, so Miles go out and grab some food and drink then bring it to them.
" Can't work with an empty stomach you know!" - Miles said while give a big smile.
Let try to fix the ride again today!
