Boo sneezed as Eyes slammed the book closed filling the air with dust. He wiped his nose and hurried after the odd chicoon. He sure hoped he knew was he was doing. "IS there anything....dangerous in here?" HE asked a bit nervous at Eye's strange behaviour. Boo watch as the cracks grew along the corridors, a strange emptiness filling them. It left him unsettled and...watched. He bumped into Eyes as he hadnt noticed the chcicoon stop and stare at what looked to him like a normal brick. He didn't question him though. They arrive at the tree and things seem...normal? Except the tree seemed to have an odd glow. Fruit hung low enough, Boo batted at one and it fell to the ground? "Can you eat these things? He pushed the fruit aside second-guessing himself. "Maybe not..." He started sniffing around the roots of the trees, following the glowing lines with his eyes. He scanned the area around him which seemed a grey contrast to the large plant. "What kind of tree is this anyway? Maybe that might mean something? I mean trees dont normally glow right? Perhaps theres something around the roots?"

GodFather rumbles with a laugh, “Alright, tree it is” he nods and gets up to follow, grunting like the old man he is as he stands and sneezes from the dust with a loud, “ACHUU!!” So loud it pops the man's own ears.
GodFather follows closely to Eyes, trying to keep up and stay close like the youngin asks, “Alright.. I’m not much for straggling too far, so don’t worry about me kiddo!” He chimes proudly.
GodFather sticks close, he doesn’t seem to mind the kid staring at cracks and bricks, in fact, it makes the old man smile a little, watching the man as if he were a child, not in a demeaning way, but more as a parent watching their child be excited about their interests.

GodFather gives a slight chuckle, “Must mean you’re pretty good at finding your way around.” he encourages, he looks around and up at the fruit hanging from the tree, “What kind of fruit are those?” He asks, he looks at the glowing bark and goes to sniff the tree, wondering how something so big could grow in a cold and dark place like this. “It’s beautiful” he comments, he’s being honest as he’s never seen anything like this before. Winter was relieved that they arrived to the tree safely, he was worried about what lies in the maze, or when it'll change and morph - thankfully, they arrived at their destination without any problem. As winter was about to walk closer to the tree, his step was stopped mid-air as he felt some sort of energy. It felt refreshing but off at the same time, and it seemed to come off from the tree. He eyed the tall tree that stretched its branches across the whole room, its veins seemingly glowing - perhaps it is the energy he felt earlier?

Winter turned to eyes ' Hey eyes, do you feel something? like an energy of sort pulsating off of the tree? ' he asked his companion, curiosity laced in his voice. As he was waiting for his companion's reply, he could see things hanging from the tree - oh? it seemed to resemble fruits! Winter believes he could reach one or two but he might need some help if they want to investigate them. [170]

Haunt followed Eyes, trusting that he knew where he was going. There were a few occasions when they started to doubt the other chicoon, when he paused to think for slightly too long or looked a little bit worried. But they had to have faith, and at least if they did get lost, they were together and not alone.
Arriving at the room with the tree was a relief, and also a surprise. The tree wasn't a normal tree, it had a weird energy and glow, much like the maze. It was a good choice to come and investigate here, they thought. First they went to look around in the roots to see if there was anything hidden or buried, then they turned their attention to the large fruit. "What are they? Have you ever eaten one?" They asked, stretching to try and get one down from one of the lower branches. [152]

Tangerine looks very doubtful, not fully trusting Eyes ability to lead. He is proven wrong when they arrive at the tree, however. He sniffs at the walls and dirt for a while before reaching up and grabbing one of the fruit. He looks thoughtful for a moment, then proceeds to take a big bite! His face contorts and he swallows with effort before saying, "Sour..." It seems like he's learned his lesson about eating fruits that he doesn't recognize, but no. He takes a second, looks at the half eaten fruit, and then puts the whole thing in his mouth. He strains with effort to eat it (must be REALLY sour) and then he falls to the floor before giving you a weak thumbs up. Oh boy...
