Pokemon being used/link: BlaiseArchive: ✰★◑✰★Prompt: 5.What is your Pokémons personality? [413 words]
Blaise adores coffee. Typically, animals, even Pokémon, can't have coffee, but as part Dusclops, he can eat anything. When he doesn't have his morning coffee, he feels empty inside. He's easily swayed into a sort of depression or lull where he is just going through the motions. Besides coffee, his favorite food is tofu. He also strongly dislikes beans. (Don't tell him that coffee is just bean juice).
He's very relaxed and chill. He loves rainy days and honestly feels like he can decompress and think better when it rains. He especially finds the smell after rainy days calming and pleasant. In addition, Blaise adores places where he can swim, like lakes, pools, or seas. He's a great swimmer and the best at water gun and splash fights. It's not beneath him to use his turrets.
He actually gets along with Mariah Paige the Seedot and Franklin the Pumpklin because he has a tendency to look at other's people's stuff. He likes surprising people too. Mariah Paige pushes him farther than he would usually go. He has used his ability of hypnosis before to get Pokémon to give him the stuff he wants. Gideon is currently working to teach him not to steal. He likes collecting too. His trainer, Gideon, has noticed his interest in beanies and buttons. So, he buys them for him. Franklin the Pumpklin loves stickers, so they both enjoy going over their collections together.
When he sleeps, he hides inside his shell.
In the mornings, he likes to be awakened by the sound of a flute like Mr. Fuji had and used to awaken his Pokémon. Now that Gideon is his trainer, Gideon plays the clarinet to wake Blaise up. Jemima doesn't mind and has gotten used to it.
Blaise is sensitive to spirits and sees the dead souls of people and Pokémon. He will chat with them, but after a pretty touch betrayal, he no longer trusts them as much.
He's a very much tactile and experienced based person. He gets easily attached to smells, textures, and sounds. He enjoys the company of others, even if he's typically relaxed and quiet. Most assume he's more introverted and a loner based on his looks and quiet nature, but he's actually quite extroverted. He just loves working alongside with others even if everyone is working on their own personal project. He a friendly, quiet sort. He's not afraid to try new things when he is around other people and Pokémon.

Blaise was born in the region of Kanto. He hails from Lavender Town and was adopted by the Lavender Volunteer Pokémon House. He became close to Mr. Fuji, who had a keen interest in him because he was a mixed Pokémon. When he was just a Squirtle x Duskull, he used to be fascinated with the world around him. He was very much a silent observer. Mr. Fuji found this amusing, and when he saw the little Pokémon taking an interest in his coffee one morning, he decided to let the little guy try it. Assuming with his Duskull genetics would keep him safe, he taught the Pokémon how to prepare coffee. Mr.Fuji was relieved and delighted to see that the kid adored coffee.
Every morning after that, Blaise helped Mr. Fuji make coffee, and they shared that every morning. It was special for him.
Now, Blaise never learned what happened to his parents. He only knew one thing: they're not dead. When he was younger, he was constantly seeing spirits of dead Pokémon and people, but he didn't realize they were dead. It was not until much later that he realized that he was the only person that could see certain people or Pokémon. It was a shock at first, but he quickly grew desensitized to it. Having talked with these Pokémon and people many times in his life, he couldn't be scared about it. He never really talked much about it with others now because he sees how unnerving it is for others when they hear about it. Well, he knew his parents weren't dead. He never saw their spirits loitering about, and he figured they would be around if they were.
There was one spirit in particular that he remembered quite well. He was swimming near the coast when he encountered the spirit of a human. The man was around middle-aged. He was blond with a suit and tie. He had a desperate look in his eyes. He had been watching Blaise secretly for some time after he realized that Blaise could see him even without possessing or letting himself be seen. He had watched Mr. Fuji too. This was the day he would finally approach Blaise. Blaise was not surprised. He seemed pretty calm as he had noticed the spirit nearby a lot. He expected him to come and introduce himself at some point.
However, the next words out of the man's mouth shook him to his core. "I know where your parents are. You must have been looking for their spirits, right?"
It brought Blaise typically calm and relaxed nature into the dirt, stomping it out entirely. Blaise became just as desperate as the man himself appeared. The spirit told him that he had seen a Dusclops and a Blastoise hanging about together at the Kanto Radio Tower. There was a reason Blaise had never noticed them before. They were a special type of ghost... The generators, electricity, and radio airwaves seemed to mask them. If Blaise just turned off the generator... he could perhaps see them. He suggested that Blaise use his powerful turrets and strength.
The Blastoise x Dusclops didn't take much time to consider this. He trusted the spirit. He was still young and naive to the ways of the world. Almost immediately, he headed towards the radio tower and destroyed the generators. It caused a major upset. Employees were panicking and scattering about. Repair men were called. People were outraged that their broadcasts were suddenly canceled. Workers found the scared Pokémon peering about in every corner, desperately looking for his parents. It was a great big heartache for him to realize that the middle-aged spirit was lying. He used Blaise to get revenge on a company that fired him and didn't let him buy the company. The deal fell through when the spirit didn't have enough funds in life to continue making the payments. He felt betrayed as he had been an employee there his entire life and felt guaranteed to have the company. He thought the boss would have given it to him for a much lesser price.
Now, the workers didn't know all of this. Blaise didn't even know all of it himself. He would just trust spirits much less from now on. They couldn't understand why it had happened. In their panic, one worker stumbled upon the Pokémon. After taking him to the other workers, they agreed to take him Mr. Fuji for one recognized him, and they demanded an explanation. Mr. Fuji said it was very out of character for Blaise to do such a thing. Blaise was usually a very collected and relaxed Pokémon. Something major must have caused it. He offered to help pay for the repairs.
The boss of the radio tower was close friends with Mr. Fuji. He offered to lessen the price if Blaise agreed to help out at the tower. Blaise started with small tasks such as serving coffee. Eventually, Blaise began helping with curating and switching the music. He likes just sitting there vibing to music and relaxing with a good cup of coffee.
Unfortunately, the boss did end up passing away, and his role was given to another person. They let the Pokémon go as Blaise was not really being paid, and his expenses for repairing the generators had been completed. They felt the Pokémon was being taken advantage of, and Blaise couldn't really voice that he was very much happy doing it. Blaise seemed to grow depressed at home.
A few guests came to Lavander Town. Gideon Hayes and his flying Dragapult arrived. Mr. Fuji generously offered them a room for the night. Gideon was very much pleased with the generosity and charity of the man. They enjoyed each other's company. In the morning, Gideon was happy to play the clarinet along with Mr. Fuji's flute playing. Gideon also loved coffee, maybe just as much as Blaise did. Blaise was struck finding that Gideon reminded him so much of Mr. Fuji, but just a younger version. Mr. Fuji saw this interest, and he offered Blaise to go with Gideon. He hoped it would liven and freshen his poor spirits. Blaise accepted, and so did Gideon. That is how Blaise joined the team.
Pokemon being used/link: LoritaPrompt: 5.What is your Pokémons personality? [370 words]
Lorita would have been a Gryffindor had she been sorted in a Harry Potter house. She's brave, courageous, and willing to sacrifice it all to help those she is loyal towards.
She's energetic, fun-loving, and extroverted. Lorita adores parties above anything else in the world. She loves cooking for parties too and tends to make more food than necessary because she can eat a lot. The flying Arcanine is not afraid to stand out or be the center of attention, in fact, she quite craves it. She can be brazenly bold and she's fiercely loyal. She gets easily attached to others. She's pretty happy-go-lucky. She's rarely sad. She's not easily upset or insulted by what others say.
Because she's happy and typically carefree, people tend to think she's not as smart, but she's actually pretty intelligent.
She's an excellent runner. She could run and run for hours and never get tired. It's the same with flying too. Renton can't keep up when she's running or flying, so he sits on King Sebby, his giant ghost crab, and lounges as Sebby desperately tries to stay at her tail.
She's got the personality of a host. She's constantly watching others, what they like, and treating them like guests. Her photographic memory really helps her with this. She can come across a bit as a people pleaser and clingy, but others tend to enjoy how well she can recommend activities and events once she gets to understand what someone enjoys. She's never had a problem making friends, so if someone ignored her or didn't like her, she would ruminate on it constantly. She would be fixated on turning that person around.
She enjoys learning about other cultures and especially her own culture. She finds it fascinating.
She can get loud when frustrated and screams her head off.
Her trainer, Renton, slipped up by breaking the fourth wall and referencing the world as a game. His other Pokémon didn't take much notice, but Lorita's observant skills and photographic memory caught it. After a while, she started noticing odd things and has come to realize that she is part of a game. She is slowly gaining awareness and the ability to break the fourth wall.

Lorita's previous owner kept her as a sheepdog for herding sheep Pokémon like Mareep when she was still a young Growlithe. Now, she was a unique Growlithe. She had the beginning of wings growing on her back. It was due to a rare genetic mutation, and no one in her family could really help her learn to fly. However, she had an obsession with birds due to this fact.
She especially loves parrots and Squawkabillys. She still spends hours upon hours just watching the birds fly. In fact, she has a nest set up just to watch them when she has time! She was able to make some Squakabilly friends that way. They helped teach her how to fly, since she was unique in her flying type. Her herding abilities even became better when she could soar in the sky and quickly gather up stray Mareep.
When she evolved into an Arcanine, she found her herding abilities to be quite easy. Her bark and noble appearance inspired awe from the Mareep. They followed her commands immediately without much resistance or loud barking. She treated them well, caring for them like they were her own children.
Her previous owner were party people. They had a party and festival for every occasion. They always had people over. She adores parties, and that has become her passion. Lorita soon practiced by making parties for her Mareep flock as the owners entertained guests. She would watch them sometimes to get ideas and use the same customs and techniques.
The couple who owned Lorita were growing old. They ended up passing away. In their inheritance their children inherited the farm, but the children had different plans in life. They decided to sell the farm and trade away the Pokémon. Lorita was not having it. She didn't want to be traded away to strangers. They let her leave to be released out in the wild.
Eventually, she left the farm devastated to lose her flock of Mareep. It was her identity, and she didn't know what to do without them. It took her time to recover. She ended up finding a pack of Arcanines. They helped her feel whole again with a mission, a purpose, and a family to take care of. She continued to protect them and host parties for them. They adored her. The whole pack felt like she was an essential part of them.
It wouldn't last, though. The pack had drama and ended up splitting up. Lorita refused to pick a side because she felt strongly that both sides were wrongly treated, and neither wanted to admit they had wronged the other. To be loyal, she left the pack. It broke her heart again. To cheer herself up, she went to see a show, and it happened to be of Renton and his Pokémon. His singing astounded her. She loved his expressive and charming personality how he spoke and made others laugh. She wanted to have what he had. So, she approached him, indicating that she wanted to join the team. He ended up catching her, and the rest is history.
