Draw or write about the Kalon's candy hoard! Did they get any? Are they getting the discount candy today?

It has been a fun and long night for Ocha and Faline, Faline has fell asleep with her hands on her tummy curled up in the corner of the sofa at home. Ocha some time in the early morning has came along and placed a throw on top of her. Both waiting for the little ones to make an appearance. Neither Faline or Ocha had went out to trick or treat and normally on November first Faline would make a dash to the store to pick up the discounted treats early in the morning. But for now she rested. This was her first Halloween with her SoulShine, and the potential little ones. Faline always called them that, Little ones, in hopes for twins. As an only child growing up was lonely and became even more lonely once her grandmother past on. She had always hoped for a sibling and this was one of the many wishes she had for her children.

After a couple hours of good rest past Faline awoke and headed off to the store. She garbed her cart and felt as though this would be a slow outing with treats and impulse buys. Pushing the cart around she let out a huge yawn and looked down the rows of goods. Ocha has to be a the shop to open this morning and Faline thought about bringing her a lunch once she got it made. Picking up bread and other things needed for the house, Faline made it to the Halloween section that was being tore down and replaced with christmas decorations. Ah...Babies first Christmas. Faline smiled to herself and picked out a couple of bags of candy, a good mix of chocolates and fruity delights that would last them till thank giving. Though with wondering eyes she was struck by the Christmas decorations and the things one could buy. She couldn't help but pick out two stockings, because the thought of having possibly more then two never came to mind, along with an ordimant for the tree that looked like a crib stating babies first Christmas. She did her best to restrain herself on buying to much more with out Ocha and then headed off home with her late Halloween candy and the things to make Ocha's lunch for today.

Yuelai smiled as he entered his home, though albeit with no candy in tow. Though the male had gone out with a costume,
he hadn't quite gone door to door with anyone asking for candy, nor did he bring a bucket with him to collect any from ot
her people. Wasn't quite a fan of candy or chocolates himself, not to mention the dangers of obtaining chocolate and vari
ous other sweets from other people and strange kalons. Even with the party he had gone to, Yuelai hadn't eaten many pie
ces of chocolate out of what was offered, free or not and hadn't thought about giving any a try either. The male just wasn
't a fan of sweet things and often didnt have a habit of craving candy either, not even on Halloween.

Because of his lack of fanaticism for sweets, Yuelai hadn't made a big deal out of going to the store for discounted candy
either. He had gotten a couple bags of really cheap stuff, only for the fun of shopping and grabbing what he could for the
cheapest price he could get it for. They could probably be saved for the kids later or eaten throughout the year...? Yuelai
wasn't sure what he was going to do with the bought candy, but whatever, he guessed. The discount was just exceptionally
low today.

Rory barely got any candy. Halloween isn't really celebrated in his neighborhood so that's why he didn't get a lot. He did get fruit and a tiny bit of candy. He was a little dissapointed but he's fine with it now.

"“oh god” The pounding in Dakota’s head had not yet stopped, too many drinks from last night to avoid the onslaught of trick or treaters. He struggled up and trudged to his closet, throwing on a shirt and pants. “God I need sugar.” Though sugar was probably the worst thing for a hangover, Dakota slammed open his cabinet and stared on in horror. All of last year’s candy was gone. Franticly he marched to the bowl from the previous night, only wrappers and two m&ms remained. “uhhg” The kalon sighed. Fumbling with a basket, he managed to find the keys from last night’s endeavor, a Mercedes. Walking to the car and clumsily getting in the upholstered leather, he fired up the engine and backed out from his long driveway. Soon he had reached his destination, the bright lights of his savior, the local King Supers. Quickly parkings and dashing in, Dakota piled around 20 bags of discount goodness into a basket and teetered to the front of the store. Fumbling with his wallet, he slammed 20 dollars onto the counter. Once he had teetered back to the car, and dumped most of the candy bags into the seat next to him, he ripped open one and began to unwrap candy. That was the nice thing with stolen cars, you could use ‘em for the night with gloves or what not and ditch ‘em full of trash somewhere down the road. Dakota piled the candy into his cupboard until it was needed again.

Eternity

Eternity beamed childishly at the discount sign hanging outside the store's doors. She practically glowed with excitement, bustling into the grocery store at mach speeds. She'd been waiting for this day all year. On a cheap, very restricted college budget-- any sort of food was hard to come by, much less delicious, fattening chocolate. Granted, it's not as if Eternity wanted it simply because it was fattening, though she did know she wasn't supposed to have it. That, however, was not going to stop her. She parused the aisles, heading back to the discounted Halloween merchandise to shovel many bags of variety treats into her cart to the point the poor thing creaked as it rolled along, candy hanging half over the edges and spilling over, threatening to jump out of the cart and onto the linoleum floor tile below. Eternity grinned cheerfully as the cashier gawked in blatant horror, unloading most of the candy hoard from the cart and onto the conveyor belt, which resulted in a towering mass of sugary sweets, and more were coming as they interchanged simple quips and passing conversation. Eternity filled the enitre backseat of her car, and her trunk, completely with sweets-- stockpiling for the 'harsher times' as she said. She poured the chocolate into her closet, defending it like her lifeblood. Afterall, a time like this comes only once a year.

My darling Pepper Pike, traveling photographer, back in the States for Halloween

Pepper laid slumped over, still dressed in the previous nights Maleficent costume. "I'm never eating that much again." She whined, rolling over in the creaky motel bed. It hadn't even been the copious amounts of candy, it was those damn pizza rolls. God, how she had missed using a microwave. "Something... Sweet." She mumbled, scratching at the black tape wrapped around her horns. God, that was itchy. Barely opening her eyes she sifted through the bag of candy she had mooched off of the other residents, finally selecting a twizzlers and sucking on it thoughtfully. Just the right thing. Opening her ice blue eyes, she peered around. Was this even the same motel room? Oh god, how much did she really party last night? She yanked out her wallet to discover her entire stash of cash had been spent on the piles of discount candy piled in the corner that became more evident as she blinked, clearing her vision. Corpse Bride blared on repeat from the television, and it seemed that all was right with her world, even as confused as she was. Having such a large stash came in handy, perhaps she could store it on her next flight out. A nice end to a nice Halloween.

Prompt 4:
Kalons: Remi and (mentions of) Hyssop

A long night of Trick or Treating ended in success for Remi. Two pumpkin baskets overflowing because of how much candy they held. He was proud of the work he did to get his hoard, which included walking all around town and then through the woods to the next town over. It took him a solid five hours to get to all of his candy, and boy was it worth it. Sure it was a little hard to move around, his legs and feet were sore from the long walk, and he might have a cold due to the fact he forgot to bring a jacket, but that's fine! Nothing a little candy won't solve!

Plus, knowing a certain member of the household, there was going to be more on the way. Hyssop always left early on November 1st to get to the store right when it opened so he could get as much as the left over candy as he wanted. Which happened to be at least 2 carts full. And while stealing from Hyssop's stash could end in Remi's untimely death, it was a risk worth taking for the sweets he so desired. Plus if he got a big enough hoard, it could last him for weeks! At least he hopes so, if anything its more likely he'll have a repeat of last year where he ate all his candy within 24 hours.

Sera ,Bane, Bella, Trick & Treat
After a long night of trick or treating Bella had just brought the kits home and left to go back to her apartment.
Sera smiled at her kits and asked how their night was, Trick & Treat just sat on the floor and poured what seemed like a mountain of candies, soda and chips onto the floor. Sera was in awe at the amount of candy the two had gotten and Bane only Laughed, smiled and sat down with the kits to check their candy. After a long time of sorting and trading candies they finally were able to sit down with their parents and watch The Nightmare Before Christmas. Sera even brought some of the let over candy apples they had made after the last of the trick or treaters had left and they all got one. Soon it was time for bed but the kits were a little grumpy cause they wanted to stay up and cuddle with them but Bane managed to get them to bed by promising that Bella would come back tomorrow with some the discount Halloween candy from the stores for them, they bolted to bed faster then they could blink. Sera smiled and after Bane and her finished putting the kits to bed they sat back down on the sofa and watched some scary movies till they went to bed themselves for the night..
