Prompt: 2. Has your pokemon ever encountered a legendary? what was this like and how did it impact them?
Soundtrack to accompany the reading

Many wonder how Kurama could have met a legendary pokemon, he who almost never leaves his cave. However, it has already happened.
That evening, Kurama was advancing in his cave. He always lived alone, at the bottom of a cave that no one ever visited, because everyone considered it haunted, and for good reason... It was said that the guardian of the cave was as strong as a legend, and that everyone who saw him never came back. Kurama knew the legend, as he was the author of it, just like he was the pokemon the legend was talking about. In truth, he had invented that in order to be quiet, annoyed to be persecuted by curious people, wanting to check if he was really able to curse, people who touched one of his tails. Thus, thanks to the legend, Kurama remained quiet for centuries, but over the years, boredom and sadness began to win him over. Had he made the right choice, isolating himself from the world like that?

One morning, the sun woke up Kurama. This surprised him enormously, as his bunk was in a place that the sun could not reach. The Ninetales woke up and stretched, before staring at the light, which seemed much brighter than usual. At that moment, he didn't know what was animating his body, but he felt his legs advancing on their own towards the light, which his eyes were unable to leave. It was as if the light was bewitched, enchanted to draw her to it. Thus, Kurama advanced until he couldn't anymore, before sitting down on the edge of the cliff, still without taking his eyes off the gleam. He discovered that the glow came from the Sun himself. The Ninetales didn't know why, but the Sun's glow was much more intense than usual, but also much more beautiful and mystical, as its aura drew the gaze to it, without burning your eyes. Usually staring at the Sun like this was dangerous, but this time Kurama felt no pain, and just felt soothed. At this precise moment, he had the impression of being accompanied by a presence who came to say hello to him, and came to reassure him, in these days so sad and gloomy.

All of a sudden, Kurama cocked his head curiously to the side. Indeed, while he observed this shining marvel, he was persuaded to see it moving. Curious, he continued to follow him with his gaze, before understanding the truth. Observing more carefully, he noticed that what he had been staring at from the start was actually a Solgaleo that had taken a break from its sky run. Having finished resting, the latter resumed his race and disappeared in the distance, still being stared intensely by the Ninetales. Even when he lost sight of the Solgeleo, Kurama smiled. Somehow, even if it was just a coincidence, he was convinced that Solgaleo had come on purpose to reassure him. Maybe he should quiet the rumors about him, and give the world a second chance, after all?

Prompt:

Show me or describe this Pokémon doing their favorite move! How did they learn it and why is it their favorite?

(134 words) - (Toyhou.se link)

Upon using Jinga's favorite move, Magical Leaf, Jinga stirs up a group of leaves that hone in on the opponent and chase them until all of the flora successfully make contact. Although it is not an incredibly powerful move, it is nearly impossible to dodge. Jinga learned this move from his father, a Roserade, during training between the two when he was young and that is why he considers it dear. Jinga's opinion of his father, at the end of the day, is loving. He views his father as a bit strange, but...he is as well, so the apple doesn't fall from the tree! There is a bit of tension between the two, likely because of how similar the two are, but Jinga doesn't plan on unlearning this personal move any time soon.

Prompt: 2. Has your pokemon ever encountered a legendary? what was this like and how did it impact them?
Soundtrack to accompany the reading or this one

The Galar region has always been ruled by kings and queens of all kinds. But long before humans arrived in these lands, pokemon already ruled the region. The family of Royaume was one of these royal families. She wasn't the biggest family, and yet she was one of the most influential. Royaume has always grown up in the palace, hardly ever seeing the outside world. According to his parents, the world was dangerous and corrupt, and the Charizard had no right to go there, at the risk of never being able to return. So the young prince grew up between royal duties and equally royal training, never leaving the walls of the palace, or its gardens. His favorite weapons were a double sword, similar to a Doublade, but these never animated. Yet according to legends, it is said that the pure-hearted being will bring peace, when his blades awaken from their slumber. This is also why Royaume has chosen to learn how to handle the sword. But maybe the world was already at peace after all? Or that he just wasn't the long-awaited hero. After all, you had to be selfish to think of yourself as a hero. Well, that's what he thought...

One stormy evening, the sky turned black. If it was not a surprising thing at first sight, this time the sky was different. Indeed, it was so black that it engulfed the sky, and it was said that Rayquaza himself would not be able to dispel the clouds. As for the thunder, it was so violent that the walls of the palace shook. Was the end of the world approaching? Most likely. The royal families gathered in their protective and secret dungeon, leaving the people outside in danger. But as he was being evacuated to the wards, Royaume felt ill. He remembers a little female Mareep whom he had met one day when he had gone clandestinely to the village market. But also all these innocent inhabitants. What would become of them if the storm were to destroy their village? Royaume didn't want to know, and without realizing it, his hands began to shake, clutching his swords tightly. Royaume always kept them with him, because he had been taught that a good prince should be able to defend himself, in all circumstances, and something inside him was screaming at him to use them. If he was going to be a hero, then now was the time...

Disobeying others, Royaume took flight. Guards wanted to catch up with him, but the Charizard was so fast in flight, and so strong with his sword, that he managed to stop them all, and flee from the palace. This is how he arrived outside, discovering the village already partly destroyed. His heart broke when he saw families calling for help, without receiving help from anyone. Suddenly, seeing a pink ball in the rubble, Royaume landed and freed the victim. His hands shook even more, and his ears dropped sharply, when he recognized little Mareep who had greeted him with joy when he visited the village. Her name was Pinky, a young orphan Mareep, and being much younger than him, Royaume knew she was just a child, and seeing her injured and unconscious made him cry. How could the royal families hide cowardly, leaving the villagers to die like this? Royaume felt unworthy to be the prince of this land.

Suddenly, he thought he heard a voice:
"You want to help them, don't you?" »
Startled, Royaume looked around, but saw no one.
" Who is talking to me ? asked the Charizard
“Meet me in the heart of the forest, and you will understand... And at the same time, you will help them. »
Royaume didn't really understand who that voice was, but something inside him was screaming at him to trust the stranger. So, the Charizard entrusted Pinky to a villager, so that she would be treated, then he joined the heart of the forest as quickly as possible, and what he saw there, will surprise him necessarily. Indeed, when he stopped, the Charizard was in front of a temple erected in honor of Zacian, and the legendary pokemon was just present, standing, in front of him. Immediately, since he knew his reputation, Royaume bowed to him, but Zacian shook his head “no”, before speaking:
“No need, we don’t have time for that. Approach me, brave knight. »
Royaume obeyed and approached, and Zacian pointed his swords.
“Give them to me for a moment. I would like to check something. »
Again, Royaume obeyed and gave him his swords. As soon as Zacian had them in hand, the two swords began to glow, and gave off an aura of new strength, as the eyes opened, beginning to glow in the dark. In addition, strange glowing symbols appeared on the blade and scabbard.

After his gesture, Zacian returned his swords to Kingdom.
“Take a knight and go. Go free your world from corruption and the threat that surrounds it. »
Confused and feverish at the same time, Royaume retrieved his swords, and stared thoughtfully at Zacian.
" What have you done ? »
“I simply awakened the hidden potential of your swords. The latter can be awakened by anyone, only if I discover a pure heart, in the heart of their carrier. You have this pure heart, so don't make me regret my decision. See how Doux and Blade can help you in your quest…”
Royaume was confused.
"Doux and Blade?" It's not fair... The Doublade race split in two? The swords are forged in their image, but this species no longer exists, for years..."
“It exists, but it rarely shows itself. And this race lives in you. You have the body of a Charizard, but the valiant heart of a Doublade. So go. I have nothing more to say to you…”
" But… "
Royaume didn't have time to question Zacian any further, when a blinding light was seen, and he was again teleported outside the forest. Had he dreamed? No, his two swords were still there, still glowing with the strange glow given by Zacian. Royaume stared at them for a long time, thoughtful, before shaking hands, with a determined air. This time, he was certain, he was the hero of the legend. Today, he would pierce the sky, and become the new king: the new king that Galar has always desired. He who will bring peace and equality of the world... The one who, thanks to his bravery, his courage and his kindness, can bring peace in Galar and the entire world.

Prompt: Prompt 1:Show me/describe this pokemon doing their favorite move! How did they learn it and why is it their favorite?Completed Nov 8th

Riff Raff's favorite move is Play Rough, he learned it completely on accident as a puppy and still uses it because he finds it fun. Riff Raff has always preferred to play by himself, catching falling leaves or sticks, immediately tearing them to shreds. One day, he saw a group of young Pokemon play tackling each other and he decided to join in. He soon realized that despite his best efforts to be gentle and careful, he just played way too rough. He eventually scared all the young Pokemon away and got chased by their angry parents. Now, he prefers to just Play Rough with bigger and more sturdy Pokemon or non-living objects. However, whenever he is in danger, he Plays Rough with his opponents, pouncing onto them to repeatedly bite and smack them with his paws. It's basically an ongoing game to him to pounce on and bite everything.

Pokemon being used/link: Ashen Rylee

Prompt: Lovebug Prompt

[553 Words]

Code: Select all
Ashen leaned into Rylee's neck fluff, it curled around her deep orange muzzle as she purred from deep inside her lungs. Their son, Magma the Trapinch, asked how they had met and all about their love story. It was awkward to say the least, but Magma deserved to know.

"Well you see -" Rylee quivered out awkwardly

" We met around 5 years ago, we got lost and separated for a while but we managed through it"

Magma huffed, squirming out "You promised to tell me the entire story dad!"

Rylee shook his head, looking to Ashen for advice as she started to explain

"I was a young Nickit when I met your father, and your father was a young arcanine when I met him. He was charismatic and quite cute if I'll be honest-"

Rylee barked "Darling!" he blushed as he tried to hide his face

Ashen ignored her partner's embarrassments, knowing he was kidding around.

"Anyways, he had me smitten from the start, he took me to the most beautiful meadows and we talked of the most interesting events together. We shared our pasts, we enjoyed our present together, and we looked forward to our future together

I was always.. How might I put it - overconfident, always believing I was destined for greatness. I had heard of trouble stirring and went to where it was rumored to be. I lost your father exploring around to find the region Pokémon rumored there was an evil legendary Pokémon on the horizon.

At that point, I was just trying to find your father, I was minding my business outside a city. I had burned out every option that seemed viable for an evil Pokémon in it's midst. But it held the Pokémon, it scared me half to death, I had tried to stay away but where I hid was dragged to the city. A little girl helped me that day, and gave me my signature cloak.

After that I stopped my 'hero's journey' as the trainers called it. I simply wanted my love back. I was an older and changed Nickit, and all I wanted was to find your father. I travelled for miles and miles and eventually I found your father, an Arcanine who was abnormally small-"

Rylee jabbed her with his elbow, it didn't hurt and it just made Ashen growl as she continued her story

"Anyways, he was still the growlith I loved at heart, and we got back together. He loved me and I loved him, it was diffucult as he was stronger, bigger, and even evolved, while I was still a Nickit. But I had chosen to stay a Nickit, I had a chance to evolve but I chose not to, so we worked through it

We were happy, he was a young, well compared to most Arcanines, and I was old compared to most Nickits-"

"A match made by Mew!" Rylee chirped

Ashen continued "Yes, yes, a match made by Mew. We were both oddballs among our fellow Pokémon, too old too young Yada Yada."

Ashen had blabbered on for a while, and as she quit talking she noticed the soft snoring of their son, Magma. She sighed, a slight smile growing onto her muzzle as he picked him up and put him to bed in their cave

Pokemon being used/link: Jemima
Archive: ✰★◑✰★
Prompt: 5.What is your Pokémons personality?
[321 words]

She is singularly devoted to her family and her sense of justice, willfulness and strong in body and mind. When her mind is set, there is no changing it, and she's quick to put her opinions on the table. Besides her strength, she is well-known for her kindness. She would be happy to instill in her family a strong will to help others around them. She cares very much for her younger ones and would feel lost without them. She cannot even begin to imagine herself without thinking of her family. Though she's had a difficult past and lost much, she does not let that get the best of her. Jemima's biggest dream is investing in the future and giving a better one for her young ones. She does not dwell on the negative aspects of the past, so she will not relate them to others. She prefers to help her family forget bad things that happened to them in the past too. When it comes to lighthearted stories from her past, she can talk to her kids about them for hours.

The Dragapult is highly protective. In addition, she's very keen and perceptive. She will not hesitate to step in when she sees fit. In her youth, she was very much into gossip and constantly getting into other's business. She has calmed down now that she has rejoined the world. It wasn't really character development. Rather, Jemima is now suspicious and uncomfortable at her unfamiliarity with her surroundings. Though, when it comes to her close ones - her nosy nature is reinvigorated without delicacy.

She's got a great poker face. Most typically read her resting face as angry, but she usually praises and encourages others.

She loves dancing, flying, and collecting decor. She especially loves Christmas decorations. She does have some bad habits. She's addicted to sugary foods and does not have the self-control to hold herself back from snacks.

Prompt: 6. What is your Pokémon backstory/history? Where did they come from? Did they originally live somewhere else?
[1014 words]

Code: Select all
She's from the region Galar! She lived near Hammerlocke in the Middle Ages. It was a large city with towering and impressive castle walls. Outside the city, there were hills and fields, which were the home of many pokemon. Jemima and her husband were part of a lounge (meaning a group of lizards) of Dragapults. Her husband was captured by a Pokémon trainer specializing in dragon types from Hammerlocke. She was tasked to work harder to collect food for her family. The head Dragapult of the group took notice of the husband's absence and dared to offer to become Jemima's new mate. She refused to marry him, and she was then treated very poorly. She was forced to gather up more food and sacrifice more for the lounge leaving herself and her children with much less. When she protested after having nothing to feed her children, she was beaten up by several of the lounge under the orders of the alpha Dragapult. Returning home injured and bruised, the mother lied to her children, saying she just tripped.

She took her family and escaped. She made an inn housing traveling Pokémon, but it was never enough to maintain themselves comfortably. They would scrape by. Unfortunately, her children became reckless. They missed their father, the lounge, and their old way of life. Everything in the inn was new, lonely, and miserable. They snuck into the city to seek their lost father. Unfortunately, the darkest day of Galar's history ensued. The children were lost as Pokémon berserked into dynamax and gigantamax forms. She sacrificed her life only managing to save one Dreepy. She used to wonder as a ghost watching the last of her family line in misery as she could never help them. However, she would constantly watch over them. She could not let go of her past or her family in the present. Her dedication and concern touched even the great Arceus. After generations of dedicated watching, she was granted a new life to help her lost young ones after a dreadful incident where they lost their parents. The Dreepies would now be taken care of by their great-great-great grandma.

She still did not trust trainers especially since a human kidnapped her husband long ago. Although, she did acknowledge it was humans that stopped the darkest day catastrophe.

---

She was going along when one of her Dreepy ended up exploring way too far out. The Dragapult is large, so she scoured from above for her precious child. The young one had ventured too far, enclosing in a Growlithe's territory on Hammerlocke Hills. While exploring, the Dreepy had come across a Toxel scaring it and getting paralyzed in the process. Seeing this as the opportune moment, the Growlithe pounced on the vulnerable Dreepy warning her to run off his terriorty, but the paralyzed critter couldn't heed its warnings. She could only cry out in panic and fear.

A blonde man with emerald eyes pushed up the rim of his thick, black glasses. He was not familiar with Hammerlocke and had found himself quite lost. He pondered in his head over the fact that he needed to capture a Pokémon so that he could join his friends. They had been eager at the prospect of battling, training, and exploring together. While these types of things were not his specialty, Gideon wanted to spend time with his dear friends. There were many creatures about. He didn't want to be brash. His eyes were glued to his pokedex trying to figure out which would be the best one to start out with.

When he heard the pitiful cries of the Dreepy, he was moved and quickly snapped his head over to the poor thing's direction. The Growlithe was drawing ever closer, baring its sharp teeth. He stomped his foot on the ground loudly, trying to draw the bigger animal's attention. It worked spectacularly as the Growlithe saw Gideon as a bigger threat. It came rushing towards him, but he prepared a defensive stance. He hit the dog strongly on the nose, causing it to recoil in pain. He quickly grabbed the Dreepy, and dashed off with her in his hands. The poor thing cried, but thankfully the toxin was wearing off. Gideon didn't think the Dreepy would make a good starter. The pokedex listed that Dreepy was very weak, so he decided to return this baby into better hands.

A sudden shadow empurpled the area under him including the Dreepy, who had brightened up her countenance at whatever was standing behind him. He glanced up over his shoulder with a nervous expression. His eyes widened at the large nine-foot creature that hovered before him with a very stern stare that could pierce steel. How did something as big as that sneak up on him without him noticing?! It was very unlike him not to notice that. "Excuse me, is she yours. ma'am?" he asked politely by instinct with a simper presenting the baby before her and slowly walking away trying to indicate that he was no threat. The pokedex triggered speaking of the Dragapult's incredible speed, toughness, and power.

Well, he supposed it was a good Pokémon to start with. The Dreepy returned to her mother, retreating the triangular pockets on its head.

"You wouldn't have a trainer now? I could take care of you and your young ones," Gideon spoke up again unsure exactly how to coax a Pokémon. Could she even understand him? The mother seemed to recoil at the word trainer instinctively, but her expression softened upon the request of protecting her little ones. She had honestly been impressed with the human risking himself to save her child and doing it effectively. The Dreepys began to chirp excitedly, always liking the prospect of having a trainer and getting to explore the city. Their mother was sort of an outcasted loner. The Dragapult acknowledged their enthusiasm. She accepted the human's offer. Gideon himself was a bit surprised but happy with her acceptance. He felt ready to face the others and learn more about this Pokémon world.

Pokemon being used/link: King Sebby
Prompt: 5.What is your Pokémons personality?
[203 words]

King Sebby grew up inflated by his dreams and isolated in a bubble. He had a rather pompous and arrogant disposition about his early youth thinking that everything about it was superior. Over the years, he became braver and more accepting of other circumstances. He wasn't as self-absorbed as he once was since he became a bodyguard. Being a bodyguard has left him to become more protective over others. He also has become gentler in his interactions and more attentive to others' emotions. Though at times, he is still self-aggrandizing. In addition, he isn't the type to admit he is wrong. This trait paired with the fact that is always willing to give advice and instruct means he can be a bit unbearable at times.

Sebby loves collecting especially shiny things and musical instruments. He loves music and conducting. He can spend hours just listening and has a very fine-tuned ear. He can also play the fiddle and has an excellent sense of rhythm.

The ghost Kingler likes things to be orderly. He can be considered very meticulous. While he tends to be a hoarder, his things are always organized.

His voice gets really high when he is nervous, and his voice cracks.

Prompt: 6. What is your Pokémon backstory/history? Where did they come from? Did they originally live somewhere else?
[1203 words]

Code: Select all
Sebastian grew up with a pretty pompous disposition and loathed the idea of battling and fighting. When he was just a Krabby, he lived on the beach in the Unova region. He was constantly being prodded and bothered in order to battle and train. It got so wearisome, that he found himself battling in the double digits every day. He felt he was being used.

He just wanted to play music and dreamed of being a conductor in a symphony away from any gyms, trainers, or leagues. He wasn't particularly keen on humans or the world above the sea. However, he had a best friend, who was interested in that world. She was a shiny Meloetta named Miriel, who was a very talented singer and famous where he lived. After several mishaps and mistreatment done towards her, he decided to become her bodyguard temporarily. He was a perfect fit because he could be in the water or on land. This Meloetta would perform concerts on the coast or the rocks, so ocean Pokémon and land Pokémon could gather and enjoy together. He would follow her anywhere she went making sure that she was perfectly safe at all times. Some fans of Meloetta used to tease their relationship was more like being father and daughter. On occasion, he was caught fixing the accessories she wore or her hair and having blankets prepared when she was cold. On land, he would shield her from the rain with his oversized claw. He didn't let fans of the opposite gender hug her. (So, of course, once a fan just hugged him instead as a joke.) There was even a time when she danced on stage with him. It was a silly interaction, but he did it to make her happy. It was tiring work, but he felt it was well worth it.

They had complete faith and trust in each other. For a long time, he was her only friend. So, naturally, she spoke to him about her dreams and wishes for the future. She confided in him that she yearned to have a Pokémon trainer, and she refused to listen to his advice and stay in the wild. She just couldn't stop dreaming of being as famous and beloved by humans. She had heard of fashion shows Pokémon did. She urged Sebby that it wasn't all about fighting above land. He eventually accepted his fate of being swept up out of the sea and into the human world. They went to the nearest city, which was Driftveil in Unova. They held a concert in the lighthouse trying to attract people in order to find a willing Pokémon trainer to take them both in. Miriel wouldn't want to be without Sebby. Unfortunately, Team Plasma got a hold of her first. They were both ignorant of the dangers of human society. Sebby tried to rescue her, but she was frozen by Kyurem. He actually died sacrificing his life for his Pokémon friend.

---

After his death, he could not bear to watch what had befallen Meloetta. He drifted away aimlessly for quite a while. Practically hopeless, but he found himself enamored and distracted by the spectacular shows and displays in Nimbasa City. He became enamored by their Musical Theater. He lodged in there, watching musical performances by humans and Pokémon alike. He much admired humans with musical talents. He collected abandoned and broken instruments trying to live up to his old dreams. He got in the habit of collecting shiny objects. Eventually, the musical theater became his new home.

He found himself gravitating to the sparkling crown only given to champions, who won five times. One night, he managed to steal it. He was admiring it along with his impressive hoard. Employees had noticed things missing here and there, but the crown was the last straw. People were motivated to find it.

There was a boy with sapphire blue eyes and sleek, straight black hair named Renton. He was also an aspiring singer with a huge talent, but he had no Pokémon. This world was new to him. Only Rylanie had spent much time in it. She had tasked her friends to find their own Pokémon, so that they could explore, train, and battle together. However, Renton found himself distracted by the Pokémon Theater. He was singing a song in one of the rooms fantasizing how it would be if he could participate. His singing caught the attention of the ghost Kingler, who felt a pang go through his heart from the performance. It greatly reminded him of his dear Meloetta, who he had left behind so long ago. Renton then noticed speckles of light dance on the wall from the reflection of the glittering crown. He turned, beaming a dazzling smile at the ghost Kingler. Upon their eyes meeting, the ghost crab felt himself jump from surprise. After all this time, he didn't think he could be seen.

"Hey, king! You have the crown everyone's looking for. You fancy yourself a musical champion, your majesty?" he chuckled with amusement. It caught the crab off guard. His radiant expression again reminded him of Meloetta. He hovered down, presenting the crown to the stranger. Renton gently took it, looking at it with yearning and awe. "I would love to win this crown, but..." he paused with a small sigh before continuing, "... I don't have a Pokémon. You wouldn't happen to know any, would you, my liege?" The crab's eyes looked back in amazement. Could he? Could he become this young man's Pokémon? No, he shook his head. He was dead. He solemnly told himself not to get his hopes up.

Renton leaned closer, taking the crown and placing it back on the ghost crab's head. "You know what, my lord? I think the crown is a perfect fit for you. Maybe we both could win this?" he asked, flashing the Kingler with a confident grin and a wink. If a dead crab could blush, he would have. Not waiting for an answer, Renton added, "I get to name you, right? Obviously, King. Hmm. King Sebastian. Oh, that sounds sort of pretentious. Oh! Yeah! I got it. King Sebby~ That's what you will be called now. Do you like it?" His head tilted as he asked. The crab didn't understand the Disney reference, but he sort of liked the idea of being called a king. He was more eager at the chance of performing and winning the crown. It seems he wasn't too far gone. He didn't really comprehend it, but he was a ghost Pokémon now. He nodded the best a crab could, and that's how the two became a team. They wouldn't have much success, but through trial and error became good teachers. They would eventually find the Shiny Meloetta. Thankfully, she survived the attack of Team Plasma, and found a new Pokémon trainer. Unfortunately, she ran away from her previous Pokémon trainer. She begged to join Renton especially when she recognized her old bodyguard. She deeply regretted the past, especially the events that led to King Sebby's death. Moreover, she felt guilty about it. It doesn't help that Sebby uses his death as leverage in conversation.

Prompt: 1. Show me/describe this pokemon doing their favorite move! How did they learn it and why is it their favorite?

[144 Words]

Code: Select all
Magma's favorite move is Earthquake! He always loved how the earth shuck beneath him when he used the move. It made him feel like he was on a trampoline or maybe a really big rollercoaster.

He learned it when he was a couple days old (Pokémon trainer time), he was just relaxing and sunbathing on a random rock near his parent's cave. He always liked that rock specifically, it was sunny most hours of the day. He was ready to go home, he got up and started to stamp around, leaving his scent all around the rock.

When he stomped the hardest a giant shake filled the Earth, he didn't mean to so he panicked, when he stepped again the quaking stopped and he was ecstatic. Ever since then that's been his favorite move as it freaks out Pokémon who weren't expecting that move.

Prompt: 5. What is your Pokémons personality?

[109 words]

Code: Select all
Magma is fierce, bold and impatient. He's known for stamping around and growing uneasy after long periods of not moving. He dislikes people who lie to him or don't tell him the whole truth. He values honesty, accountability, and loyalty the most out of any traits.

He also loves to snap his mouth open and closed when bored or grumpy, making an ear piercing snap every single time. It drives people nuts but he still did it no matter what they would say.

He's smart, but also bubbly and hot headed, it made him unique for a docile and calm Pokémon known for snapping their jaws and sitting underground.

Prompt: 7. What are your pokemon’s relationships with others like?

[146 Words]

Code: Select all
Magma adores his mother, he is much more patient with her than any other Pokémon, and even if he won't admit it he'd lay in her lap for hours listening to her soft lullabies and infinitely many stories of her youth. With his father he is more impatient, stubborn, and grumpy as he isn't known for his hours long stories or soft voice. Even if he doesn't like him like his mother he loves the dances he does with his fire attacks.

Magma has a strained relationships with most other trapinches, as he has unusual parentage and most others judge him. Additionally due to his unique patterning most judge him for his 'strange' appearance.

Magma however has a great friendship with almost any fire type Pokémon willing to not judge him. He admires them for their fire type nmoves and the amazing dances they can do

Prompt: 8. Where does your pokemon live? Do they have a house? Live with a trainer? Etc.

[160 Words]

Code: Select all
Magma lives in a cold old cave in the middle of an enchantingly beautiful wood. It glistens in the morning dew and calms you under the bright stars of the swirling abyss so called space by trainers.

The inside of the cave is simple, a large moss bed in the middle of the cave lowered into the ground by an indent in the floor about 4 inches below the main floor. The rocks move easily and Magma loves to hit them with his mighty beak which is hard enough to break the rocks below him.

The cave has mystical light creak through the cracks in the morning and the stars watch over him at night. Ashen had always taught him to appreciate the stars which looked over him so the only thing he would ever carve is stars, constellations and other space objects. The cave is littered with those carvings along with paintings and random decorations taken from trainer towns.

Pokemon being used/link: Royaume
Archive: here for Heartcatch
Prompt: 7. What are your pokemon’s relationships with others like? (can be list format as long as it reaches the word minimum!)

Royaume does not know many people, outside the palace. However, here are his relationships with people he knows and lives with:

His Parents: Royaume has a mixed relationship with his parents. In truth, as they are kings and queens, he hardly ever speaks to them, and is content to see them at meetings, at meals, and at a few other rare times of the day. Finally, he knows them so little, that he has no real relationship with them...

His servants: Apart from his master of arms, Royaume does not really have a special relationship with his servants. Except maybe with Mina. Mina is one of her maids. She comes to help him in the morning, makes his bed, washes his sheets, etc. In the castle, very few people like her, because she seems grumpy, but Royaume knows that Mina is actually very nice. Indeed, the Sylveon simply prefers to hide its past, and likes to play it off like the poison-type pokemon that it is. However, Mina is one of the few people to be sincere with Royaume, and also one of the only ones not to have held him back, the day he ran away and discovered the village, and the other time he met Zacian. Moreover, Mina is the servant who accompanied him the time Royaume visited the village. Indeed, she was supposed to warn the guards but, instead, she simply let the young prince go out and visit the surroundings. The Sylveon simply checked that none of them lost the cloak used to conceal their identity. Mina is also a very good seamstress, and a multi-tasker, thanks to her ribbons serving as her extra working legs, and Royaume likes to learn from her. He considers her as his most faithful servant, but also as his most faithful friend. Now king, Mina has become his adviser, and Royaume thanks her every day for being and for always having been by his side. Maybe it wasn't just friendship between them, who knows?

Pinky: Pinky is the first villager Royaume found, the day he was on his way to visit the village. Indeed, this one walked by hopping in the forest, and totally ignoring the legends speaking of a wolf which would guard the forest. Hey yeah, sheep are supposed to be followers and cowards, but Pinky was neither. Maybe it was just the ardor of youth, but Royaume was immediately marked by the behavior of the Mareep. Nevertheless, his presence immediately made her smile: it must be said that it changed a lot from the monotonous landscape that was inside the palace. Eventually, the two hit it off right away, and as Royaume found out that Pinky was an orphan, he invited her to be a regular at the palace. Thus, since Royaume is king, Pinky is considered the little princess, the king's little sister, to their great pleasure. His presence really created the warm atmosphere that Royaume felt was missing at the palace.

The inhabitants of his kingdom: Having lived all its childhood enclosed between four walls, Royaume does not know much about the villagers of Galar. Nevertheless, he promises to be the best possible king for this world, and he is well on his way to getting there. Thanks to him, the people have never been so happy and prosperous, and the inhabitants return well to him, offering him all kinds of things, although Royaume almost never dares to accept. This is not rudeness, but rather embarrassment. After all, he didn't want to deprive the villagers of the few things they have, while Royaume can have anything it wants.

Pokemon being used/link: Snapjaw
Archive: ✰★◑✰★
Prompt: 5.What is your Pokémons personality?
[246 words]

Snapjaw is a chomper. He likes to bite everything. This was only encouraged by his rowdy and energetic personality when he was younger. After his death and renewal, he has become much more reserved and fearful of the world around him. He's sensitive as well. He does try to hide his sensitivity and fear, making him come across as mellow. With so much tragedy in his early life, he has become more easygoing and accepting of his current circumstances. He will do what needs to be done, and he won't fret about it. While more mellow and easy-going, that does not mean he hasn't lost the urge to chomp. Since he doesn't get much social interaction, he can still come across as awkward and quiet.

He has to avoid the sun, so he holds an umbrella and wears sunglasses often. However, the umbrella doesn't last for long because he tends to nibble on it. His eyes are very sensitive to the sun. In addition, he becomes more transparent in the sun.

His instinct is to run away from conflict, having run and been alone his whole life. He's not used to having someone guard him and give him orders. Sometimes, he doesn't listen to GJ's orders and does what he thinks is right. In addition, his tendency to run has crossed over to his social interactions, which makes Snapjaw come across as lonely as well. He's typically by himself simply standing in the shade and watching the scene.

Prompt: 6. What is your Pokémon backstory/history? Where did they come from? Did they originally live somewhere else?
[1036 words]

Code: Select all
This ghost Totodile was born in the region of Johto in Ilex Forest near Goldenrod city and Azalea city. From his youth, he was alone. He didn't have anyone to help him maneuver through social interaction resulting in injury. Because he was very rowdy when young and playfully chomped on other Pokémon who took it as a threat, he was forced to travel to the Lake of Life only to be captured by a Dark Ball of the Iron-Masked Marauder. He became corrupted and controlled to fight against other Pokémon. These memories were a hazy blur of chaos and violence. He doesn't try to probe further because it's not something he likes to recall. Snapjaw was killed in the battle against the ambush of Pokémon, with a Gyarados landing the final blow. He still feels uncomfortable around Gyarados Pokémon and does not want to return to the Lake of Life where he ironically lost his life. Nevertheless, he was healed by the guardian of the forest, Celebi, after she was uncorrupted and saved. Unfortunately, it was too late to come back to his prior self, but he was renewed as a ghost-type Pokémon. He lost his vibrant teal pigment and was left with a corpselike, pale pallor with reddish and pinkish spots.

His first memory as a ghost-type Pokémon was wincing from the painful light beating down on his unprotected, blindingly white skin. The sunlight was too strong, so he hid in the Onix tunnel, also near Goldenrod and Azalea city. He went in unknowingly, not being cautious whatsoever. His loud entrance caused all the Onix in the area to seek him out and aggressively taunt him. Young, confused, and hurt, he stood no chance. He was chased out with a few more bruises to add to his already bruised ego. It was a daily struggle, but he just couldn't stay outside with the beaming sunlight. At night, he would go out, relax, and hunt for food. During the day, he would try to go back in the tunnel avoiding the Onix and trying to find paths they did not usually check. Eventually, he found a place to stay with continued perseverance. It was a river deep inside the tunnel after following a path that branches off. He could plunge into the water and quickly escape the Onix when they happened to come by.

After some time, the Onix got used to the Totodile being a resident of the tunnel. They no longer harassed him if they stumbled upon him when he was out of the river.

------
A short, brown-haired boy with striking yellow eyes and a brown and yellow hoodie to match strode into the Onix tunnel daringly. He had the unique ability to transform himself into a sentient jacket. So, he was not afraid to transform and allow the confused Onix to prod at the cloth. They never did anything to him in his jacket form and would leave him alone.

Now, this boy was known as Garrus Jaxton or GJ. He was friends with Rylanie, and was a roommate of Gideon Hayes. Out of the band of four trainers, he was the one with the most experience in the game, Pokémon. He was known as the gamer of the group who spent the majority of his time playing. While he was more into shooter games like Call of Duty, he had played his fair share of Pokémon. He had promised his friends he wouldn't hunt down the absolute best team, but he still wanted good Pokémon. His friends didn't want to minimax, and they had no chance if GJ ended up crafting the most optimal team against their Pokémon.

He had come to Johto specifically in search of the Onix Tunnel for Onix. They were the strongest, basic Pokémon, so he figured they would be the perfect starter. Besides, there were no restrictions, technically. As he slowly and stealthily traversed the dark tunnels, he came across a flowing river. A white blur caught his eye before he was met with a ghastly Totodile completely devoid of pigment. Turning into a jacket, he fell to the floor. The Totodile seemed confused, prodding before nibbling on the sentient jacket. Yelping in pain, GJ transformed back into a human swatting at the Totodile. His hand smacked his nose and then passed through his legs. A sudden chill passed through his spine. Before he could get bitten again, he threw a pokeball at the ghost Totodile capturing it. Fascinated, he completely put the Onix out of his mind and was happy with his find. Totodile wasn't his first pick, but it wasn't a bad starter either. It was definitely a top ten if you only count official starters. Better yet, he had never seen a ghost Totodile before! He didn't think that was even a thing! He searched through his pokedex realizing that there were many more Pokémon that had odd types or even fusions in the world than what he had played in the games. However, there was never a ghost-type Totodile entered yet! He had the very first one!

Leaving the Onix Caves carefully, he was ecstatic to show his friends his unique find. He bet Gids, Ry, and Renton would be so jealous! He was sure Ry and Renton wouldn't pick optimal starters. Just whatever looked cute or amusing. Gideon might possibly pick something good, but definitely not as good as his! He ended up naming the Totodile, Snapjaw, as a close enough reference to the Horizon game.

When he took out Snapjaw to start his first fight, the poor Totodile refused to budge, finding the sun irritable and clearly having trouble adjusting to the light. His eyes burned. GJ was forced to run away from fights. It was frustrating, but he thankfully managed to buy some sunglasses and an umbrella from the shop. The next time Snapjaw came out, he was pleased with the sunglasses. GJ didn't really like holding an umbrella up for him because it looked sort of lame, but it made Snapjaw more comfortable. That's what mattered. Garrus was willing to do what it took to get SJ leveled up in preparation for his first fight with his friends.
