Art/Blurb 1: after catching such a large fish last time, lichenshine was determined to do it again. this time, however, didn't go as planned. unlike her last time, waiting and catching the fish like a professional, this time she seemed to be stuck flailing around in the water, probably scaring fish away. oh well, maybe she'll still manage to catch something! optimism!

Art/Blurb 1: Although dunking her head completely in worked last time, it was not as fun as it had seemed. They had spent the whole day trying to get water out of her ears, yuck!

So today, she'd try a different approach. Using leftover supplies from arts and crafts, she made a sloppy but colourful sign that said 'FISH COME HERE :)' or as close to that anyways; she could not spell. She also didn't have opposable thumbs. He is a cat. (How he managed to draw something for arts and crafts is a mystery to even herself..)

Art/Blurb 1: Now, here was something Eveningstar could definitely do! With her clan living high the mountains, finding prey could be difficult, but fishing was almost always a reliable source of food when prey became scarce. She had waded in to about mid-leg, enjoying the pull of the water on her fur as she watched and waited for a fish to come closer to shore.

(bonus: i cant stop thinking about how she would look after diving face first into the water, because of all her head fluff lol)
