Now that Beebo has both tools and knowledge, they set off to try and fix the ride. They end up covered in grease by the end of it, and the ride definitely isn't fixed yet, but at least they have a vague idea of what to do this time.

Pablo doesn't really know what to do now. Ion and Ripsaw are not here, or at least not at the ride he was supposed to fix. Thus Pablo decides to just walk around and check out different booths and rides. If he's already here, he could just enjoy it, right? It is not as if he has anything to do at this moment. Pablo wanders around and stops at various booths. He decides to take a look at the dunk booth, it looks kinda funny! But also a little bit sad, the chicoon sitting on the little seat, waiting to get dunked in to the water, looks a little bit sad. Poor guy. Pablo decides not to spend a ticket on a throw, so he walks to the next booth. He looks around and sees a bumper carts booth. Oh how he loves bumper carts! He runs over, just to see it looks a bit , deserted. "Nobody here?" He asks out loud. He does not get any response, so he shrugs and sighs. No bumper carts today then. After wandering around, he decides to go back to the ride he was supposed to fix. Maybe he can clean some more or something.
Pablo trots back and gets a damp cloth, ready to get some dust off of everything. "It sure got a bit dusty in these few days," Pablo thinks out loud, while starting to clean. After a while he is done and he decides to just go home for today, maybe tomorrow is a more useful day?

Try to fix the ride!

Not wanting to waste any time, Korbl grabbed the tool box from the shed and wandered back over to the ride. He set the tool box down and rummaged through it. His mind was clouded with thoughts, he still had no idea how to fix this ride or what was wrong with it...he let out a sigh and sat down, sorting the tools onto the grass in attempt to take his mind off his racing thoughts.

He'd just do the best he can to get it working - hopefully - in time before the Carnival comes to a close...this ride looked like so much fun, surely other Chicoons would love to ride it! As he stood to his feet, he walked around the ride a few times, double checking for anything that might look out of place or broken. He didn't come across anything that caught his eye, with a groan he flopped into the grass. His brain scrambling as he tried to think of something, anything!! How could he fix this ride?

He came to the conclusion that laying there in the grass wouldn't get anything done, he pushed himself back up onto his feet and made his way back over to the tool box. As he looked at the tools that were laid on the grass, he grabbed a rusty flashlight. The light flickered a bit, but maybe some light would help him see more. He figured it was worth a try, he had nothing to loose but time!

"So... this is the ride that needs some serious maintenance?" Lukta asked Haster as they had a look at the non-functioning ride.
"Yeah, this is the one. I've been trying to fix this thing for days now, but I haven't been able to do it so far..." Haster answered in an exhausted voice.
Lukta looked at Haster and tried to cheer xem up a bit. "Oh, don't worry! Let's take it one step at a time. We should be able to fix this ride in no time!"
Haster regained some confidence, thanks to Lukta's positive attitude. And they began to examine the ride in the hope that they could repair this thing. [112 words]

Ace returned today to find that Ripsaw was nowhere to be found. They hoped that the chicoon had had something to eat and a good nights rest. Learning that he wasn't to let Ripsaw in to try fix the ride today, he'd keep an eye out. Time to make some progress!

Blueberry shook off the conversation, and shrugged with a hum. He got straight to work tinkering with the ride, but after an hour, he grew bored and his attention to fixing the ride was overthrown by a delicious lookng cotton candy stand. Despite his best efforts, Blueberry couldn't resist the tempation, and abandoned the ride to go get a snack. He walked up to the stand, and spent several minutes debating what flavor he should get. He finally decided, and even left the worker a tip for their kindness and patience. After he'd ordered his blue cotton candy, he noticed a fun looking fishing booth, and he just had to try it! He immediately skipped over to it, and said hi to Pops! It turns out that Blueberry was incredibly lucky at the booth, and wound up winning two goldfish! Of course, that meant that he needed to take them home! That also meant that the fish he'd won a few days ago would not have some friends! Today was not a very productive day for fixing the ride, but Blueberry had a lot of fun, and even brought home some new pets! In his opinion, today was a wonderful day. " I'll fix the ride tomorrow! " He assured himself as he settled down to go to bed after a nice day at the fair. Was that true? Who knows.

Froge listens tying to keep up with everything Sink says but finding his speech a bit fast and confusing. He stands awkwardly as Sink practically disappears and is left standing out in the open like a deer in headlights. “Okay…” Forge says awkwardly before deciding to go to the control booth today, maybe there’s something he didn’t see that could help him fix the ride. Maybe there’s an on-switch that he could press for 15 to 30 seconds, maybe that would reboot the system and get the ride going! Better than nothing since tinkering with the control panel hasn’t done anything. (101)
