Mellene

'Mellene' is 'blueberry' in Latvian. I chose this name, as, well, firstly, I don't know a lot of blue food. xD So I decided to choose a simple blue food I knew, and translate the word into another language. After much translating and searching, I found two names that rather fit, particularly 'Mellene'. It seemed to stick in my head somehow, so I decided upon it.
Personality:
Mellene has many sides to her. She can appear to be charming and polite, but mostly she is somewhat mean and manipulative. She seems to be quite vicious when others set her on edge, and when she wants something her tone is usually snappy. She uses her charm to manipulate others into making others do things the way she'd like them to be. Mellene doesn't seem to care about what happens to anyone or anything, as long as she gets her way, she is content either way.

Name: Ice Cube, or Cube for short

Ice Cube trotted through the trees, her blue fur shining wonderfully in the summer sunshine. Birds sang little tunes while butterflies whispered about the flowers. Cube was happy, she stared in awe at all the pretty colours about her. It was like a rainbow, and Cube loved rainbows. She started to hum with the singing birds... The humming soon turned into a song,
Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows,
Everything that's wonderful is what I feel when we're together,
Brighter than a lucky penny,
When you're near the rain drops disappear, dear,
And I feel so fine just to know that you are mine...
She smiled and tried to catch some butterflies, but they bounced playfully out of reach. It was a happy happy day for Cube. Carefree and bright.

Blitz. BLITZ. SHE'S ADORABLE. Since forms don't seem to be closed, I shall reserve this post, and get to work on it first thing in the morning, while tonight I shall think of a foody name for her~

Koala Eden. Inspired by the Koala Blue Wine company followed by an Ancient Hebrew word that means pleasant, or as used biblically, addresses the Garden of Eden.

Overall Nature and Personality-

Curious: She will often attempt to sneak up on things to get a closer look, or if something is immovable that she has not seen before and does not know what it is, take the time to sniff and try to decide what it is. If unable to figure it out, she will try to find someone who might know what it is or be able to find out for her.

Determined: When she sets her mind on something, she generally cannot be sidetracked from it(unless food is involved). For example and continuing from above, if she wanted to find out what something she found was, she would eventually find out, even if it took her a few hours or even a few days. She's also the kind who, once they start something, will finish it. Meals given to her included.

There is a time for playing and a time for napping: Usually somewhat energetic, she enjoys playing with things whether alone or with others, but if she gets tired or she is told to stop bouncing around and behave, she will. Koala enjoys naps too, and finds them to be a nice past time next to playing, especially if she finds a warm spot to curl up on. Said warm spots range from a sunny rock to a blanket in front of a fire or heater. She's not the most fond of getting cold, and will even wear dog(Great Dane size) sweaters in the winter, sometimes a scarf too.

Loves Attention: She enjoys being held, petted, pampered, being cooed over, even being spoken of, and almost any other sort of attention directed toward her as long as it is not in a mean way. When Koala is very happy from getting itchy places scratched or just receiving some sort of attention after not getting any for a while, she will make a rumblely sound similar to a feline's purr, and make small chattering sounds when she is exceptionally happy. Also if she's happy to see someone, she will react in a similar manner, and it is easy to tell who she likes, who she loves, and who she does not care for.

Sarcasm? Hate? What's that?: Koala does not even know the meaning of such words, and never has. She will not ignore or flick her tail at you as if she were a spoiled princess, and there is no time that she will hiss and spit simply for being petted or touched.
As for stepping on her tail or making her mad... that's another story. But, like stepping on her tail for example, if you didn't mean it and she knows it was an accident, though she may avoid you for a day or two, she is forgiving enough that she would not bite you because of it or hold a grudge.

Basic Summary: Koala Eden is, in my eyes, an playful, usually cheerful, honest, and friendly little Jelly Bean dragon, but can also avoid danger and be quiet a dangerous creature if she must. Certainly someone who could cheer you up without much trouble at all, and enjoy doing so.

Tastes and Other-

Favorite Foods: Watermelon, nectarines, pears, honey, pastries such as sugar cookies and cake, sugar cubes, fresh water, sweet tea, and marshmallows. Also enjoys catching and eating grasshoppers, crickets, and even ants surprisingly.

Least Favorite foods: Plums, bananas, and any kind of food that's bitter or sour. Doesn't care for Butterflies, Dragonflies, or moths.

Favorite color(s): Gray, teal, and many shades of blue.

Favorite Season: Spring.

Favorite Things To Do: Exploring, eating, receiving attention, taking naps, and sometimes looking at herself in a mirror and making random expressions or mimicking someone else's, for no reason whatsoever.

Least Favorite Things Period: Extremely loud or high pitched noises, her tail being stepped on, someone poking her with something, and Halloween.

Art work- It's not finished, but here's as far as I got on it since judging is today... However, since I didn't finish, there is a poem underneath because that is generally considered to be a form of art as well. Maybe it'll help make up for the lack of BG...;

Notes of/from Blue/Myself-
-I have never owned a JB dragon before, but only plan to adopt one and no more. I would be most happy if this was my one and only, not only because I love her design, but also because I know her creator well enough for her to know how she would be cared for and treated. All she would have to do is ask me.
-What will happen to this little dragon if she becomes mine? She will be given hordes of attention, and make an excellent space filler, as well as being something incredibly enjoyable to draw, love and hug, pet and spoil.
-I do swear that: She will never be forgotten, even if she is not drawn weekly, and will not be ignored and collect dust as if she were just a thing to play with every now and then.; Be abused or mistreated in anyway.; She will be rotten within a month's time, and I shall cherish her like something I created myself.

Oliva Blu was a lovely little Jellybean. Her mind was filled with an almost fake world of wonder. Her happiness was like a plague, spreading almost instantly, the moment she skipped into the room. Her favorite activity is playing hide 'n' go seek. She likes to pretend that her tail is another person, and speaks to it when extremely bored. Often she'll turn a game or challenge into a puzzle, making it much more enjoyable. Another one of her joys is following her master in a free-run, across the rooftops of Florence.

History:

Hatched beneath a bush in a large field, the little Jellybean was alone almost instantly. She had been born deep into the heart of Italy, in the fields of Tuscany. As the clumsy child stumbled out into the open, a hooded man had nearly missed her, if it wasn't for slipping on her shell. Quickly the man took the crying baby into his arms, looking down with wonder. She was taught the language of the Italians, and quickly learned her master's name, keeping it close to her heart. Ezio Auditore.
Raised in a constant adventure, Oliva Blu was lean and quick. She nearly rivaled the master Assassin in movement. During the nights, or very important missions, she would return to Ezio's ally's house. Leonardo da Vinci. There she learned many gifts for art, and enjoyed sniffing out small insects that could possibly ruin the master artist's paints. Leonardo affectionately nicknamed the little Jellybean Dolce Blu, or Sweet Blue in Italian. She greatly enjoyed laying on top of the sculptures and flight machines, staying out of reach. To this day, she still lay in Leonardo's studio, and waits for Ezio to pick her up for a quick free-run!
