I'm actually pretty new to Equine Based Species. I just got my first about a week or so ago. I love the aspect of growing a herd, a big family. In general though, I love thinking of stories for characters and drawing them.

I'm pretty quiet and have a heavy work schedule, but equine adopts help push me to check in to see what's new in the discord chat/forums and add a little comment here and there. What do you like about him? I adore his design as a whole(particularly the fulled quip and mane color change and his pangere is *chef's kiss*) but honestly, my favorite part is his little smudged eye liner detail under his eye!
Why do you like HARPGs or Equine Based Adopts/Species?
I love being a part of a community that is as horse crazy as me!! I was the little girl in the backseat of the car always getting in trouble because I would squeal and get excited everytime I saw horses! So being able to connect with others (even if I just stalk around the discord and am pretty quiet) over little pixel poines is so nice! Now as an adult, I do own 1 rl horse of my own, but being able to "own" tons of pixel dream horses without as much financial burden is lovely also!!

What do you like about him? I quite like his quipping and coloring and that he’s not terribly complicated while also not simplistic/basic in design (though I often quote fancy simple yet elegant types too) - the quips are big and basic shapes which are easier for me to draw and make sense of in my head and I’ve long had a soft spot for brown-cream-black type color schemes too like he features!
Why do you like HARPGs or Equine Based Adopts/Species? I think the biggest reason I like them is because I can’t currently have horses in real life and don’t get to interact with them as much as I did growing up either, so it’s an outlet for that natural horse girl desire and gets to be fantastical too while also allowing for a community to be part of and engage with without losing touch from real life (ARPG type things being able to go on the back burner and picked up again as needed is really nifty!)

What do you like about him?
I think I'm just a huge sucker for the lighting style markings incorporated in a more "natural" looking manner. The colors go very well with one another, I like his socks for a bit of contrast, and the detail of his mane getting lighter as the stripes meet up with it is a nice touch.

Why do you like HARPGs or Equine Based Adopts/Species?
To be honest, I'm very new to the HARPG scene! I love collecting pretty little babies to look at, and drawing them when I get the chance. I joined WMEs on recommendation from my good friend Dia, and I don't regret it one bit.
I'm excited to see where things go!

Why do you like HARPGs or Equine Based Adopts/Species? I used to draw horses all the time and really enjoyed it... then stopped for a long while and I need the practice. Considering how much I've always enjoyed this species and their traits I figured this was a great way to spark that desire to want to learn to draw horses again!

What do you like about him?
One of my weaknesses are filled quip, and you mix that with the lightning quip it is just *chefs kiss*. I also really love how the color of his filled quip carries into the mane where the black quip is! Makes for a very unique look. Not only this but the pangare on the bat is so buttery smooth... Whoever gets this lovely boy are very lucky!
Why do you like HARPGs or Equine Based Adopts/Species?
I've been riding horses since I was a young girl, so I was immediately drawn to WMEs/equine adopts. However, what I love most about adopts/HARPGs are the community. I was bullied quite a bit as a child, so finding a group of people to gush about horses, chat with, and interact with on art streams really helped pull me out of my depression. It let me interact with people as myself, without the fear of being made fun of (or being too shy to reach out to others due to past experiences). I made some friends that I still talked to before WMEs came back, even met some in person. The community is what makes any adopt or HARPG, and WMEs was lucky enough to have a fabulous one.
