Being a ranch hand, Clive doesn't have a whole lot of time to sit down and enjoy a full meal. Always fixing something or tending to his horses or cattle, eating well is a luxury reserved for holidays or big family gatherings. But he always manages to have a little baggie of burnt brisket ends picked up from the local butcher to snack on while he's working. It's the best part of the brisket to him; they soak up all the juices of the brisket but never manage to get too soggy, a perfect kick of charred spice and juicy protein to get him through a day out in the sun. If he's feeling really fancy he'll drizzle some BBQ sauce over the ends and eat them on a paper plate, maybe even throw them on a sandwich with some sauce, tomatoes, and onions.
