The Italian Orchid has an appearance so similar to fairies, that you can never be too sure if you've just caught a glimpse of the fey folk hiding amongst the flowers, or one of the Orchids just fluttered a little too lifelike in the wind.
"We have fairies in the garden!" And perhaps her younger self had actually seen them weaving amongst the Orchids, whereas her grown soul saw only flowers and hoped for more.

favourite flower: the dandelion! although the dandelion is technically a weed and very common, rico loves it. dandelions are a symbol of hope, happiness, and determination, and rico loves picking the plants and making a wish as they blow the seeds off of them. rico struggles with depression and has been through some rough patches in their life, but these plants have always made them happy when they saw them on walks (or from their window when they didn't have enough energy to go outside.) they like to pick them and give them to their friends and also sometimes make dandelion honey.
