(( prompt;; )) renegade has always been quiet. he prefers to observe from the sidelines, creating fantastical stories of the adventures that others experience. for years, he has been slowly pushing himself to experience more of life himself rather than listening to interviews and news reports. as a famous author, renegade feels a duty to his readers to become more like the protagonists of his novels, but he also feels a duty to himself to live life to its fullest. he feels that he will regret staying on the sidelines once he is too old and frail to go on grand journeys, even if he is currently more comfortable sitting on his couch. renegade has vowed to put himself out there more this year, to overcome his fears and awkwardness and experience more from the wonderful world.
