A life far removed from that which we live everyday; our forgotten histories. Lost heritage buried beneath piles of dust, lives lived completely separate from our own, yet inexplicably, undeniably intertwined.

History. Heritage. This is the journey that Vikas is going on, preparing to delve into the past of his family. His lost past.

Vikas dreams of raging rapids, of polar icecaps and scorching desserts, each crossed, each overcome, on the journey to his past. He carries with him few supplies; food, water, rope and a single, leather-bound book; the cause of this journey of his, the jottings of a relative, one who he never knew, one who has shaped the very essence of who he is today. Prepared for any eventuality, he is desperate to leave the everyday and to begin the extraordinary.

He is incredibly excited to uncover secrets, to have new experiences, and to witness even just a few of the things that his ancestors did so long before him. And in finding his history, uncovering the lives of those before him, perhaps he will, finally, be able to find himself as well.

@ ∘Raven∘ - I tend to be drawn to darker themes so I may be biased lol. But in all seriousness, your form had a really rhythmic feel that covered a number of ideas with great transitions. So an HM for you too ^^
