Yes, yes there is- a very long on at this point. But just this particular battle? My dragon has 2hp. My dragonborn has somewhere over a hundred. The DM thought the familiar shared my hp and magic. Nope. So you have a druid, a small barbarian horde infatuated with/worshipping said druid, a wizard, and a theif fighting with a demon, a 100+ horde of ghouls, an overpowered blighter, and a vampire, meanwhile an oathbreaker paladin on a nightmare tries to lance a frantically fleeing cat-sized dragon, my sorcerer almost completely ditching the fight in a futile bid to chase the teleporting paladin around the battlefield. Eventually managing to nail the bugger a good one, knocking his health down a good bit and dispelling his mount, allowing the dragon to finally breath long enough to reach the sorcerer, to cower in her bag, about the same time the remainder of his allies retreated, and the party started to turn their entire focus on him.
The paladin retreated, still thinking he'd been facing an oddly cowardly opponent, for how strong the dragon supposedly was, only for the frustrated demon to enlighten him upon the sheer magnitude of his failure once they regrouped. Everyone in the party
absolutely cackling over his/the DM's mistake, playfully ribbing the DM about how the paladin shall never be able to live that down.
If you have any questions about assorted D&D chaos, you're more than welcome to message me about such.
