Wynter Macadamia - your local college student, mythology enthusiast, feisty roller derby player.
To Wynter, being a college student means that “you’re always in need of money because you spent it on absurdly expensive food the other day”. To pay back her piling debts, she decided to join a roller derby competition a few blocks from her campus. What originally was her casual hobby soon became a part-time profession, as she joined a team known as “Immortals” and participated in competitions during the weekends as her source of cash. She thought if she were to compete against many other girls her age, she'd have to stand out for the audience to notice her. As a result, she dyed her blonde hair a vibrant turquoise green to pop out against the other competitors. Paired with her usual double buns hairstyle, it guaranteed her place in the spotlight, and she surely bathed in it.
Being the reckless and impulsive girl that she is, she does not spend her prize money right. Heck, her Korean silk bomber jacket was bought with four of her prize money from a month combined. She's always so dedicated in saving up money for the stupidest things; she didn’t eat anything besides cheap oatmeal bars for the whole month for that. She justified her purchase with her strangely vast knowledge in mythology - told me how it’s got designs of peaches and cherry blossoms on there, and that they were “symbols for a beautiful and healthy life”. (Not to mention, as her roommate, I have a right to believe she’s heavily invested in mythology solely because she’s crushing on someone from history class.) Because of that, her expensive jacket could only be complemented with a cheap pair of workout shorts she wears almost daily. What can she say? She’s pretty cheap with everything else, but loves flexing her only expensive items.
Her usual look is completed with a pair of crimson roller skates and odd mismatched socks. She’s owned her skates for years, and took them with her when she moved into college. They’re simple and a bit battered, but she holds dear to them for sentimental reasons. The socks are usually mismatched because she never bothers to do laundry properly. During the afternoon or after sunset, you would see Wyn skating around campus, whether it’s because she’s on errands for a classmate or just for fun. In places she’s not allowed to skate, though, you would see her wearing a pair of white (worn out grey) flats instead.
