Dang I had to rewrite this because I clicked out of the old tab.

Once, in the forgotten Greek land of Colchis, there lived a prince. His name was Asion (A-see-on). You would think he was treated as a prince, riches thrown his way, praised by all. But he wasn't. His seven sisters overshadowed him, because they were the most beautiful in the land. Three were trying to get married to rich husbands. One was. The last three were triplets name Acasia, Ilyana, and Lyra. None of them ever acknowledged Asion anymore. not since the Lyra had been gone too long on one trip. She used to be nice, and play all the time with Asion but now...it was like she had forgotten him. His parents had.
One day, though, Asion had a great idea. He would go to the main town and figure out why his sisters were so popular! He dressed as a peasant, and pulled a hood up to hide his face, in case anyone recognized him. They probably wouldn't, though. As Asion walked to and through the town, he saw markets (and he bought some watermelon), temples to the gods, and men leading their flocks around. Asion started looking for someone to discuss the matter of his sisters with when he saw a likely group. Three men. As he approached, the oldest, who looked in his late thirties, said, "Are you here to try for one of the triplet princesses hands?" Asion's eyes flew wide. His sisters were in town? Well, he though, if I stayed here maybe I could confront them and figure out why they're liked so much better!
"Yes." he told the man. The youngest, who looked no older than 15, moved aside so Asion could sit next to him. "I'm Spar." the boy said. "Who are you?"
Asion hesitated before saying, "I would prefer to keep that secret." Spar nodded. "So does Ranger over there." he pointed towards the oldest man. "No one here knows his real name."
"Aye." Ranger said. Spar ignored him and pointed at the last man, who seemed to be 19-22. "He goes by the alias Silence, but his real name is Diocules." Silence frowned at this, but Spar either ignored it or didn't see it. "He's mute, hence the name." Asion nodded. "So have you done this before?" he asked Spar. the boy frowned. "No. There are new people everyday. Only two have been called acceptable and sent home. The others.....you'll see."
By noon, about 40 men had gathered and a crowd surrounded them. A path to the men opened in the center of the crowd to reveal the triplets walking quickly down the path. Something else about them: They knew magic. They only use it for good things, like growing plants, polishing gold, making horses stronger, and giving Guard Dogs higher senses. Asion never thought they would use it rashly. How wrong he was going to be.
"Alright." said Acasia. "Today has to be quick because Prince Asion has gone missing and my father wants us to help find him."
"Wait!" Yelled someone in the crowd. "There's a prince!?" As Acasia answered, Spar leaned into Asion and whispered, "I feel bad for Asion. Always forgotten and looked over by his sisters." Asion nodded as somewhere in his jealous heart and beam of light shone down at Spar's words.
"Alright!" shouted Ilyana. "Who's first?" Ranger stepped up and bowed towards Acasia. "I would like to try for Acasia's hand. Do you except, milady?" Acasia gave a slight nod and Ranger turned towards the crowd. "Who would dare challenge me for Princess Acasia's hand?" Another man stepped out. "I will." he said. Both men drew swords. Then they started dueling.
After a minute of this, the triplets chorused. "Boring." and held out their hands at the men. The same way they produced magic. Ranger's sword clattered to the ground as the man fell on his side, writhing in pain. The other man followed suit.
Asion watched, horrified, as horns sprouted from the mens' heads and curled under their ears, which grew longer. Fluff exploded along their bodies and soon the men were no more. In their place were sheep. Ranger the Sheep bleated angrily at Acasia, but a villager led the two now sheep to the nearest flock.
Asion could only watch as the rest of the men came forward. They all got turned into sheep, goats, horses, snakes, frogs, lizards, cats, dogs, and any other village animal. Finally, only Spar and Asion were left. Lyra beckoned them forwards. "Who do you wish to take as yours?" she asked the boys. Asion removed his hood. "None of you." he growled.
The girls screamed at his appearance and leaped back. The crowd gasped and Spar bowed. The crowd started to bow to when a small prickle of pain started at the back of Asion's neck. It spread and he fell, glancing at his sisters as he did so. "Impostor!" they yelled. "Asion would never stand up to us like that! And impostors deserve punishment!"
"Help. Me." croaked Spar's voice. Asion glanced over at the boy in time for the two boys to collide together and for the Prince to black out.
When Asion awoke, his vision was sharper. "It's awake!" Yelled someone in the crowd, and it surged back. Lyra's hand covered her mouth and Ilyana and Acasia looked horrified. Asion shook out his head and stood up. He looked down at his nee body.
He was taller than before and covered in coarse brown fur. He had paws instead of hands and feet, and claws. Those were cool. He had his a toga and gold bracelets still. He looked to his left to see another head! Asion yelped and leaped back, but the head stayed with him. It whipped around and yelped, "Who are you? Why can't I control my body!?" Asion recognized the voice. "Spar!?"
"Asion!?"
"What?" That was a new voice. Asion and Spar turned to see a third head. "Uh hi." the head said. Understanding dawned on Asion. When his sisters had changed him, they had fused him with Spar. Asion was now a three headed canine with control over his head and the body, but Spar had control over the other head and the third had been created for the sake of it.
"A - As - Asion?" Lyra stammered. All three heads whipped towards her. Asion realized his name wouldn't suit all of his body now. he needed a new name. "Cerberus." he growled. "That's our name now." Lyra looked like she might faint.
"What is going on here?" A new voice thundered. The King pushed through the crowd and shrieked upon seeing Cerberus. He jumped to hide behind Ilyana. "What is that!? A Hades ridden creature." Asion, or Cerberus's middle heads, put on a sad face. "Aww you don't recognize me, father?"
The King's eyes widened. "Asion?"
Cerberus's three heads shook side to side. "Not any more." The left said. "We are Cerberus." they chorused. "And," added the middle head, "It's all thanks to those three fakes." he pointed at the triplets. With his new eyesight, each head of Cerberus could see that the sisters were disguised. They weren't actually Lyra, Acasia, and Ilyana. Asion had suspected something was up, but not this.
"You did this?" The King looked at his daughters, incredulous. "No." Lyra squeaked. Cerberus suddenly lunged forwards and wrapped a paw around her neck. "Speak." he growled. "Yes." Lyra gasped. "We did. We thought he was a fake." But Cerberus didn't let go. As Lyra fell unconscious, her skin melted away to reveal a mildly pretty young woman. Lyra wasn't real. Ilyana and Acasia tried to run away but Cerberus was faster. Each of his front paws wrapped around each of their necks. Ilyana fell unconscious first, revealing her to be....herself. Acasia yielded the same results. Something had happened to Lyra, then, and someone had taken her place.
"Cerberus." this voice was deep and came from behind the canine. The three-headed beast whipped around to see a man, about 12 feet tall, behind him. He had messy, short, black hair, a black cloak, and a gray suit underneath. Behind him, a large chariot with scenes of death stood, with five horses seemingly made of shadow in front of it. "Hades." Chorused Cerberus's heads as the dog bowed.
"Stand, my friend." The God rumbled. "Some here are plotting to kill you now. And I won't let a fellow immortal be ridiculed like that. Come with me to Erebos, the Underworld, and guard my gates. You will be rewarded and released when no one alive remembers us.
The immortality comment came as a surprise to all three heads, but after a quick mental argument, the creature agreed to go. "We will come, my Lord." said the middle head. Hades grinned. "All hail Cerberus, the mighty guard dog of the Underworld!"

Cerberus. The closest head is the one Spar controls, the middle head is the one Asion controls, and the farthest, the one that Lyra, Ilyana, and Acasia added.

MEETING CERBERUSYou walk towards the gates of the Underworld. You see mindless souls streaming through the legs of a huge dog. It was three headed and standing on two legs, oddly. He had gold jewelry everywhere and with his three heads he made an excellent guard. You walk, or rather as a soul does, float towards him.
The middle head looks down on you and it's expression becomes serious. "Spar, Cole, watch over those souls. I need to find Lyra. As the middle head turns to look over the Underworld, you stare at him in surprise. Each head has a name? The left one glances at you. He turns and keeps looking at the gate, but you can sense the heads having a mental argument, which is also apparent by the Giant Dog's lashing tail, which was knocking over souls.
Eventually, though, it seemed to stop and not long after that the middle head let out a screeching bark that makes you feel like you are going to explode with fear. It isn't long before a pretty ghost makes her way towards you, crouching under Cerberus's legs. She has long hair and a dress on, and from the looks of her and her clothing, she is Greek. She says something to Cerberus who says something back in her language (probably Greek), and the ghost turns to yo
"Another soul with their mind intact." she says, staying under Cerberus. "My name is Lyra, brother to 1/3 of Cerberus." You stare at her in shock. She was a sister of sorts to this....this creature!? And how was she 1/3 his sister!?
Seeing your confusion, the middle head grins sadly. "Once I was a Prince. The left head, Spar, was a peasant boy in my kingdom and the right head was just added because, well, I don't know." The right head snorted and grunted something that was unintelligble to you. Lyra just shook her head. "It's a long story." she explained. "The middle head was once Asion, prince of Colchis, but my two triplet sisters and a fake me turned him and Spar into this." You blink at her, still confused. "In shorter terms," Lyra sighed, "I was Asion's sister."
Lyra offers to tell you Cerberus's story, and you listen, rapt, as she explains how Prince Asion was jealous of his sisters who got all the attention. How he was turned into Cerberus and given a job offer by Hades. You stare at him and nod respectively. Lyra then leads you under Cerberus's legs to the gates when you hear his chains snap and him say,

Translation: Cerberus's heads tend to have different personalities. The middle head, or the head of Asion, is the most noble of them all. He tends to be quiet and though noble, he will seek attention as he did when he was a prince. He usually socializes with only souls still bearing intelligence, his other heads, and his sister, Lyra. He is the most obediant to Hades.
The left head is that of Spar, who was a young boy when fused into Cerberus. This head is the most playful but also the most protective over the Underworld. After Cerberus was freed, this head convinced the other two to come back to the Underworld every once in a while to visit Lyra and Hades. He is the most social and vicious when attacked.
The third head, the one on the right, was added as an extra when Cerberus was created. The other two heads nicknamed him Cole, which means victory. Cole is by far the head most ready to fight, and the one least easily tricked. He is also a lover of The Lord of the Rings.
- Lyra was killed at one point and replaced by a commoner so no one would notice. Cerberus found out, much later, that she was killed by a group of peasants who wanted no rulers
