reason\\ similar to spiderman, she was bitten by a magical spider. however, instead of transforming to a spider, she discovered she gets superpowers from candy! different candies give her different powers, and she came up with a rhyme to keep them straight - sweet gives strength and sour gives power. the sweeter the candy the stronger she physically is, and the more sour the smarter she is. nowadays she's she's working on a superhero costume to go out and help anyone in trouble. until it's done though, she is enjoying collecting candy and testing out different ones to see their effects!

I'm not addicted to candy, I can live without it. I do really like it, probably more than an average deerssert.... Ok, definitely more. I guess why most people think I'm a sugar crazie is that I always have a lot of energy and I eat a lot of candy. Well, I must admit the candy helps me go on with my day. It's like eating a tiny morsel of joy and flavor. I discovered that one day when I was stressed. I had stayed up all night worrying and woke up late. I didn't have time for a proper breakfast so I grabbed the first thing I saw, a piece of candy. I ate it and BOOM! Instant spark of happiness. And sometimes that's all you need to start a fire of happiness in your heart. Woah. That was so deep. And cheesy. Cheep? No. Deesy? I'll work on it..

Kuri always lived a very sheltered life. As a fearful introvert, she never wanted to leave the comforts of her home to go explore the world, scared that something bad might happen to her. As an introvert, she rarely made trips out for food, mostly surviving off of sandwiches and vegetables, since that was all she could grab before she would get too scared and end up scampering back home. On one of her rare trips out to the store, a bright, colorful wrapper of sorts caught her attention, drawing her towards it. The store had put a new candy section up, something that hadn't been there before. Full of vibrant, fun colors, she couldn't resist wanting to give it a try. Having only known bland sandwiches and veggies, this explosion of sugary sweet goodness changed everything. Taking over her mind, filling almost every thought of hers with nothing but candy, her anxiety and introverted-ness seemed to all but disappear. Now a sugar junkie, she couldn't care less about being out in public, and that's why she loves candy so much.

Lulu grew up baking with her mother. Nothing made her more happy than making cookies, cupcakes, cakes, you name it, with the sweetest woman on Earth. Sadly, Lulu's mother developed early onset Alzheimer's at a young age, and as her mental and physical state deteriorated over time, she always remembered baking with her daughter, and always wanted to spend time with her only child. Due to this experience, Lulu associates happy memories with sweets and baking and has become quite obsessed with them.

Thump. Primrose drops her load of candy onto the Sweet Shoppe’s checkout counter. The
cashier doesn’t bat an eye. This happens every day, after all.
As Primrose counts out her payment, she glances over at the Sugary Specials table. One thing
in particular catches her eye - licorice sticks in delicate shades of pastel. Something about
them seems awfully familiar...

Primrose's cheeks flushed hot pink in embarrassment. Her teacher had mistaken her for her younger sister Daisy, again. As if that wasn't bad enough, just that morning her friend had thought she was her older sister, Marigold. Why do I have to look so normal? she thought bitterly. She was a pale yellow, with bubblegum pink hair. Just like everyone else in her large family. Boring.
Glancing around her classroom, Primrose found a variety of Deersserts. One had glow-in-the-dark stars on her flan. Another had straws all over her body. Still another had rainbow hair. They made her look like a cheerio in a bowl of fruit loops.
Trying to ignore the stares that came after public humiliation, she pulled a peanut butter cup from her backpack and popped it into her mouth, chewing furiously. Ignore them. Focus on the sweetness, she told herself.
Somehow, it kind of worked. Soon enough the bell had rung, and they were dismissed. But Primrose's troubles were far from over. As she traipsed through the forest that led her home, her mind was far from the undergrowth surrounding her. She was determined to resolve her look-alike dilemma, yet her mind was a blank slate. It was when she unwrapped a pastel-coloured licorice stick and began to nibble that she had an epiphany.
Wishing she would look different wasn't going to do anything. She was going to have to make herself stand out.
But how? How could she make herself look different, special, unique?
Candy.
She'd always liked sugar, especially candy for its convenient transportation that made for snacking whenever, wherever. And the idea that it could be more than just something to take her mind off worries - that it could be a part of her very identity - was, well, sweet!
Giving her parents a garbled excuse, Primrose raced downtown. From there, she went to stores selling everything from the latest trends, to random knick knacks she didn't quite understand. By the end, she'd made herself a new style, complete with rainbow bracelets and purple hair highlights.
And as she chomped on a caramel, she found that if she really appreciated the confection, it tasted even better. Suddenly "tasty" became "delectable", and that was what sealed the transformation. She went from a Deerssert who liked candy, to one who's very identity revolved around it. Call it dramatic if you will, but admit: you have something like that, too. Perhaps not sugar, but something.

Needless to say, nobody ever mixed Primrose up with her siblings again. But even if she had been, she wouldn't have cared. After all, she had candy.
