Deep inside a cavern, sleeping
hair nor hide of beast came creeping
Only ghosts could haunt these halls
Terror strung with lonesome calls
Crystals gleam despite their flaw

Down inside, the monster crept
though it lived and though it wept
never could it find its rest
awake among the sullen pour
Never could it take a step
to the dreary outer moor

Clouds were cast, soft and somber
chilling spirit to their core
Though their being glowed soft omber
never could they pass the door
Oft they yearned for lounge and leaping
yet skies afar would leave them weeping
All they longed for: something bright
Needing shine of boisterous light

Souls and demons came in droves
the spirit wary, as if their foe
lost within the cavern’s tombs
scattered shard with gloom and glow
Following the ghouls far south
They took them back to cavern’s mouth
Leading them with glint of stones
to exit halls of darkened tones

Days would pass, slumber fleeting
The spirit yearned material meeting
of brightness shined on cavern floor
Yet nothing came, but shrouded sky
twisting high above the moor
How they longed, they wished for thy
the hidden angel lost to lore

Finally, one sullen day
fateful daybreak came in May
Skies were cleared of darkened clutter
parting blue beyond for summer

The spirit, watching, ever waiting
saw the yonder skies, so cold
Brightness came to gems, breath-taking
reflecting light for all, behold
The spirit’s heart did set aflutter
now with broken mold
gazing at the cool sky’s luster
the wondrous view that myth foretold

Basked in sunlit fields of glory
the spirit felt that they were holy
Their skin aflame, they said the name
of orb above, most arcane
and smiled warmly at the sun
Finally allowed to run

Between their fur, the growing started
buds rose high to lands uncharted
opening to light’s soft ray
inviting them to come and play
The creature felt in all their beauty
the coming joys of May

From each touch of ground to paw,
buds arose with gaping maw,
burning petals faced the sky
reaching for the heavens
Pinpricks threatened, soon to cry
eyes with loving wonder
Flowers faced the sky to beckon
light to ground to cover umber

Once a sullen spirit, dreading
now the being felt weight letting
No more bound to waning gray
the being thought of time away
Glowing in the morning light
they found a love for day
Finally they’d baned their blight
And all because of joyous May

Seasons past
Summer ends, autumn shall come
it always happens so fast
Winter ended, and when the first bees hum
I, Yunne, prepared to bring spring

The gods greeted me with smiles
It was my duty for spring to spread for miles

We weren’t suppose to grudge,
But I couldn’t help but judge

Micaiah’s summer was always loved,
Ike’s winter brought joy

And what of me?
Always cast aside,

So as my spring began to end, Micaiah came for control
But this cycle was old

“Yunne, this spring was lovely as always, I’ll make sure my summer is as great as yours!”

“That’s sweet Micaiah, but summer will not arrive this year.”

“You’ve always been funny, summer always comes.” She sneered

“Well not this year! I’ve always been cast aside! I will prove my season matters!”

Two hearts shattered

“I can’t stop you, right?”

“Do you want a fight?”

“No, but this will only lead to fright.”

Many wondered where summer was
Why flowers kept blooming,
Why it never got warmer

It all stayed the same,
I was bored of this game

Wilting, I knew what I had done,

“Summer must come! Micaiah...
I’m sorry...”


“It is time, but it will not be that easy.”
Her sweet voice whispered,
“When you denied my summer we lost our power-
I’m mortal now.”

“How can I fix this?!”

“You control all the seasons but, you can give someone a season to rule.”

“Then I’ll give you summer!”

“It’s not that easy,
You can only give a season,
To someone you love.”

Two hearts once shattered, were beginning to heal.

“Many deities are trying to claim your love,
Don’t waste your time with a mortal like me.”

“No! Micaiah!
I love you.”

“What?”

“Please help me rule,”
