why do they like this place/thing;
All her life she had lived in a small village, all you could hear was the fierce rumble of what everyone called "The Monster". No one had ever seen the monster, but every day it continued to growl. Everyone knew the monster decided the weather, and recently it'd been unkind, leaving them without water, so they decided to attack. They brought together their fiercest warriors, April being one of them, to defeat the monster. The small group gathered at dawn, and trekked towards the growl. It took them half a day to get close, each step the monster getting louder. Soon they could tell they were right around the corner from it. They sat there, no one brave enough to look around, to face the monster. April decided to be the one to face the monster. She stood, the ground shaking beneath her feet from the monster's fierce growl, and ran around the corner. She didn't get far before stopping in her tracks, in front of her was something she never thought existed, something so beautiful she couldn't even put it into words. It took her a few minutes to break from the trance before shouting out in joy

for meriam, there is no specific place or sight that repeatedly, without fail steals the breath from her
lungs; more it's the world around her, the rare moments she is able to catch of pure brilliance in her
eyes that so many would fail to see. the kind of moments that one will never see again, that only
happen once in a life time, where the sight of a leaf slowly trailing down from it's home's autumnal
slumber will cause her to still, and her breath to halt as she stands captivated by the small leaf trailing
down, or the sight of a butterfly delicately flapping its iridescent wings and flying above her head as she
watches in awe of the flying creature going by. it's those moments, those few seconds where the world
comes to a complete still around her and everything fades from her sight into a soft blur, except for the
small thing that had stolen her breath. it was those times, those beautiful, indescribable moments,
where it felt like another had taken a hold of her form, where she found the greatest of joys, and where
she found her breathe completely stolen away.

i hope prettying up is allowed ahhhhh, and as i was looking up what the name meriam meant since it
immediately came to my mind when i saw her, i found this and it is almost exactly what i was picturing
her to be personality wise so i also hope it's okay to link that here, and i also hope a skyrim gif is okay

Why do they like this place/thing: Enclosed by the walls of the Grand Canyon and being able to gaze up at the azure sky drifting on by at its own leisurely pace...is there anything more breathtaking than this? For Bethwyn, there’s nothing better. It’s not only the view that takes her breath away either, the energy the canyon has is almost overwhelming. You can feel the power through the gusts that wind around its walls. It’s exhilarating. [72/200]

shelly couldn't tell you the last time she didn't watch the way the moonlit waterfall cascaded down the mossy rocks of the waterfall, splintering into smaller streams and reuniting at the bottom.

she could, however, describe to you the water in perfect detail- a sparkling dark blue, looking as if there was pieces of stardust resting in its entirety. the way it sloshed up onto the green covered stones and changed their colours from dull to vibrant with its magic touch.

she could describe to you the way the moon seemed to dance across the beautiful liquid, her feet skimming each and every individual wave as they rose to allow her to rest upon their haunches. she could pull close to the waters edge and tell you to strain your hearing so that you could listen to the waters song as she went by.

she could tell you all about how the wind moved the elegant, winding trees and lift up their leaves to the heavens, his cool touch sending pleasurable shivers down all the backs that he passed. the way he made the animals chirp up with their beautiful music and join the song of nature's calling.
