Cloud has been consumed by wanderlust for as long as he can remember, insatiable in his desire to see and catalog as much of the world as he possibly can. It comes as no surprise that he finds himself away from home for weeks or months at a time, usually spending the summer photographing the farthest corners of the world. Of course, he's forced to leave precious things behind--his best friend, who understands his love for what he does but still finds themselves yearning for him more every time he leaves, gave him his messenger bag as a gift for his eighteenth birthday in the hopes he'd carry it with him on his travels. It quickly became one of his dearest possessions, and he's careful never to let it out of his sight.
