What is something you look forward to in years to come? Well! i look forward to dating someone! haha as weird as it might sound.. and i also look forward to finding a job! i have a simple job in mind until i'll start searching for my so called 'dream job'. i also look forward to seeing my art improve! i would want to see my human art change so badly.. if only i had time to work on it right now... (i'm trying though haha)

What is something you look forward to in years to come? (a new tradition, seeing certain people, ect;;)
Something I'm actually looking forward to isn't materialistic, and it isn't something of a physical person. It's more of a spiritual thing.
The one thing I look forward to in years to come is actually not losing the Christmas Spirit. As a dwindle closer towards maturity and huge responsibility within my life, I worry that the stresses and tasks will just consume my mind and fill it with stress.

Christmas is a time I truly hold dear to my heart, and losing it as time progresses would hurt dearly. My hope for the future is to keep the spirit strong as time goes on.

What are you most excited about doing this year for the holidays? I've exciting about spending time with family on Christmas Day, having party food for lunch & then having roast dinner which can ether be Chicken or Lamb in the evening with Christmas pudding (or figgy pudding) with ether custard or butter, then a few days later I go to see my grandparents & having a late Christmas dinner with them but before that I open up Christmas cards & seeing what I get.

What is something you look forward to in years to come? (a new tradition, seeing certain people, ect;;)
Finding gifts for the two people in my life that have unusual interests. One collects rubber ducks, and it is getting increasingly more difficult to find ones she doesn't already own. Websites, museum gift shops, yard sales etc, I shop all year to find a few she doesn't already have. If you search for rubber ducks in the web, chances are, she has 95% of the ones that show up.

The other person builds model tanks. I probably should have started a list at some point because I don't know a Sherman from a Maus, from a Panzer and I don't want to end up with duplicates. I think I am going to take a video of them and make the guy at the hobby shop watch it so he can tell me what they are.

Gift giving is my favorite part of the holidays so I do my best to find something that will be amazing.

What is your favorite Christmas memory?

I've enjoyed writing my own stories and creating my own characters for as long as I can remember, and my favorite Christmas memory EVER has to do with a story I wrote when I was in third or fourth grade. It was four or five pages long, and all about this little anthropomorphic rat-girl who found a clutch of dragon eggs and proceeded to hatch them, then raise them as pets. One dragon was blue, one was green, and one was pink. This pink one was named Liz, and she was my absolute favorite of the three. She got the most air-time in the story, and I drew her several times to illustrate my tale, alongside the little rat-girl who was her best friend (and a thinly-veiled version of myself)! I guess Liz would be my first real OC? Anyway, my wonderful mother saw how much I loved this pink dragon and, unbeknownst to me, took it upon herself to make my dream-friend a reality. Thus, upon coming downstairs that Christmas morning... I flipped out. All I really remember at this point is intense joy, and myself bouncing around like a super-ball with a sugar-high as I alternated between hugging my mum and doing laps around the room. Because there was Liz - big and beautiful and PINK - sitting underneath the tree. Mum had sewn a stuffed version of her, just for me, complete with a hand-written note of introduction from 'Santa'! She'd even gotten the green eyes and yellow spines down her back right! In my little-kid mind, the stuffed animal before me wasn't really a stuffed animal... it was LIZ, living and breathing; we'd be absolutely inseparable for years to come! No other preset I've ever gotten has made me that excited.

This is Liz! X and X. She's about the size of a house cat, though she's quite a bit longer with that lovely tail of hers! Her belly and feet are full of 'beans', as is half of her tail, so she has some weight to her. ^o^

I still have Liz, along with Jewel (the blue dragon) and Marshmallo (the green dragon) - who mum made for me the two following Christmases. The 'little' guys remain among my most prized possessions. I mean... seeing a character I'd created in my head come to life, at that age, was an indescribably awesome feeling. It was also a reinforcement that what I'd created was GOOD, and worth something. Which encouraged me to keep writing, and to keep dreaming. It was also proof of just how much my mum cares, and how much of an awesome, unbelievably creative person she really is. <33

What is your favorite winter memory?

They remember one winter in their teens, spending the holiday with their friend Anja and her family. They had been invited to Anja's house because they were unable to stay at home for the holidays. Being around their parents back then was not healthy for them. Things got better as the years passed. Not perfect, but better. They like to think that their current relationship with their parents is possible because of the time they spent with Anja's family. Her family welcomed them with open arms and made them feel right at home. They loved playing games with Anja's baby brother, and staying up late talking with Anja and drinking hot chocolate. That winter was the most loved they had felt in a long time. It gave them the strength to hope for more good holidays to come.

I think what I am most excited for is to move out and find my own place. I need to find a stable job though. :') Another is I'm starting have interest in makeup, so let's see how I'll do cause I have a feeling I'm going to need a lot of practice. Okay, this will be the last one but I want to improve my visual art skills. Sometime I feel like my growth is so slow and maybe forcing myself to practice more on realistic things will help me and my art grow.

What are you most excited about doing this year for the holidays?:
I love opening presents with my sister and parents on Christmas day! We often have our packages from our parents and family, then our stockings with a bunch of smaller gifts. We drink eggnog, listen to christmas music, and just spend the day with each other. My mom makes this breakfast casserole every year too, with eggs, sausage, cheese, and spinach that is to die for. Our entire holiday is normally spent binging Hallmark movies, but it's the greatest.
