Where do they live and why?:
he lives in the Castle of Stars with his family. Being related to Darius and Claudius, he is welcome to stay there as well as the Kingdom of Aslore, with his brother and sister, Cherry and Theo. He lives in the Castle of Stars because he is still training to become a king. One day, he will rule his own kingdom and the Castle of Glass, which is a peaceful kingdom on top of a mountain. Its a sanctuary of sorts, and every year the people create paper animals as gifts to the king.
How?:
He was given the same type of amulet Rita (Cherry's non mermaid mate) has. Its usually a small shell with a magical charm casted on it allowing a large unpoppable bubble to form over the wearer's head once submerged. The air lasts for 6 hours, more or less depending on how big the shell, and time will refill once you hit an air pocket or land. Air pockets are everywhere in the undersea kingdom, and there are several waterproof rooms and homes to accommodate air breathers. Llyod has special lungs where he can hold his breathe for a very long time. He can hold his breathe for up to 23 minutes if hes sitting still and up to 14 when moving.
Siblings and parents:
Theo-sister- grew up in the Castle of Stars as a princess but moved to the Kingdom of Aslore to become a royal guard and sworn protector of her brother Cherry. She values family above all else and cares for all her brothers and sisters. She enjoys Lloyd's company and find him entertaining. Although being half siblings, Theo treats him like her brother Cherry. They both like to practice archery together, Theo isn't as good at a bow and arrows as she is with a sword, and is usually beaten by Lloyd.
Cherry- brother- grew up in the Kingdom of Aslore. He thinks Lloyd is a nerd but loves him anyways. Cherry likes to pull pranks on Lloyd but they usually backfire and end up failing cause Lloyd outsmarted him. They have some kind of sibling rivalry going on, but they still love each other.
Claudius- father- grew up in the Castle of the Stars. He isn't the talkative type but is very wise and loves giving advice to the kids. Hes kind of a push over which Lloyd takes advantage of, but they get along. Claudius is pretty much afraid of the army of kids he has but tried his best to raise them all right. Hes a big soft bear.
Misaka- father- grew up in the Kingdom of Aslore. Lloyd looks up to Misaka the most and tries his hardest to be just like him. He loves Misaka's stories and believes that his father is some kind of god. Misaka is very kind and sweet yet brave and saved Claudius's life before. Lloyd wants to be able to go on his own adventures and be just as brave and cunning as his dad.
Darius- Grandfather- lives in the Castle of Stars. He looks up immensely to his grandfather. Hes fought in wars and salvaged peace to the land. He was the one who originally formed a truce and strong bond with the underwater kingdom, and is known for his kindness and prosperity. He loves all of his grandchildren and would protect them with his life.
Longsbee- grandfather- lives with Darius but grew up in a neighboring kingdom. Lloyd loves him but Longsbee and his side of the family believe that the merkalons are a bad omen and destroy his crops so Lloyd just, rolls with it.
Damien- uncle- grew up in the Castle of Stars but lives in the Kingdom of Fire with his husband Spencer. Damien is a really nice guy who is very admirable and strong. He is a handsome guy and Lloyd has notices a crowd of girls usually follow him around. Damien loves visiting him and giving him horseback riding lessons.
Spencer- uncle- lives in the Castle of Fire. Not a very nice guy and Lloyd tries to avoid him. He doesnt really show that he cares for anyone but Damien and hes the only one who can make him blush. He grew up being taught to be cold to others and to be as harsh on his subjects as possible. Though he is actually a nice guy with morals, he often doesnt show it and hides behind a wall of sarcasm and dark humor.
