Malibu looked around the water park, Something's not right here. she thought. The other songrems were acting super suspicious, running around with things hidden in their fluff. She thought it might be a birthday party, hoped it would be because she REALLY wanted some cake. Avi was sitting beside her, enjoying the sun, he looked like he didn't have a care in the world. Boo thought for a second, maybe if she could act like she was a part of it then she might be able to get some information. Alright! Time to act suspiciously. She snickered, getting on her feet. She walked to the nearest bathroom and stole a roll of toilet paper, partially hiding it in her fluff. She walked around, unsure which songrem to follow. She couldn't decide, and every single one seemed to disappear somewhere until she could find another one. This is harder than I thought. She found an older songrem, they moved slower and they seemed to be holding a big box of something. She decided to spy on them a bit, following them around. They looked like they weren't going to a specific place, it was like nobody knew what was going on.Maybe he wants to know what's going on too, did he have the same plan as me? Her expression clouded as she stopped, deep in thought. What was my plan? Why am I even here? Her short-term memory got to her, and she ended up going back to sit beside the snoozing Avi. A few minutes later she had remembered, but she gave up and decided to wait instead.

Blitz watched the songrams running around with interest. Some were so loaded up with stuff that they had taken to walking on their hind legs in order to balance everything. Many also tripped several times. Something that he had found endlessly amusing. What was even more amusing though was watching Heylel try to carry three entire boxes of stuff by himself. Heylel kept stumbling and had nearly fallen into the pool twice. He really should help the poor guy out already. Or push him into the pool.

Eventually standing and walking over to his friend, Blitz took a box and looked inside. "Hey Luci, what is all this stuff? I get the rubber ducks and balloons but what are we gonna do with empty tic tac boxes, rice and mouse traps?" He asked, a curious and slightly concerned expression on his face. "I've told you not to call me that Blitz! My name is Heylel not Lucifer. And as for the items you asked about. It's for a trial run of something I've got planned." was the reply, Heylel glaring slightly at his irritating friend and expecting some witty retort. Blitz just smirked though and proceeded to help Heylel carry the boxes to their destination without another word. He knew Heylel hated the connection between his name and the name Lucifer. But irritating him was just too much fun!

Upon arriving at their destination, a ways away from the pool, the two Songrems begun to unpack their boxes. It didn't take long and soon they had pitched a tent and Heylel was setting up some obscure game-like thing. At least, that's what it looked like. Blitz wasn't exactly sure what Heylel was making with that junk. He found out soon enough though when Heylel called him over to look at his creation. "Check this out Blitz! I call it the fly-a-duck. What you do it set the mousetrap and put a rubber duck on the catch part. Then you drop a tic tac box filled with rice on the trigger. It launches the duck into a balloon on the wall. If your duck pops it, you get a prize!" Heylal said, looking very proud of himself. Blitz for his part was speechless. Heylel had turned random junk into a fun summer game with minimal effort. He was proud to call himself the other songrem's best friend.

The game opened half and hour later and was a huge success! The prizes, a cool glass of homemade lemonade, had been well received and they'd been told that the fly-a-duck was actually really fun. Blitz had a nearly blinding smile on his face for the rest of the evening. Only matched in intensity by the smile Heylel was also wearing. The two were having a great time with the game and it was nice to see how much the other songrems enjoyed it. The compliments on their lemonade hadn't hurt either. And when the pair eventually got tired, they had passed the game management on to someone else and went back to the hotel. Eagerly awaiting the party where they'd get to try out the game on a much larger scale.

Calli's front paws were sticky with glue after spending hours on making near-endless lengths of colorful paper chains in preparation for the party at the water park later. Well, at least she was pretty sure there was going to be one anyways. She had only overheard other grems excitedly whispering about it, and hadn't asked any of them to confirm what they were talking about. Either way, she wasn't worried that all the time and effort she put into the chains would go to waste if there wasn't actually a party. If she couldn't hang them up there, she would just string them up in her home instead.

Carefully gathering up the finished paper chains so they wouldn't get stuck to her glue infested paws, she placed them in an empty basket and went to wash off her paws with a healthy helping of soap so no glue would be left behind. She still planned to make a few paper lanterns for the party, and she couldn't have the thin paper she was planning to use tear before she could place it on the table! Calli finished drying off her paws, and grabbed a stack of purple floral print paper from her craft storage. With a last fitful glance at the clock, she gave a sigh of relief. Thankfully there was still an ample amount of time for her to finish up the lanterns she had hoped to do, and then be able to get the party on time to set her decorations up. That is, if the party was even a thing.

Tayio crept out of her apartment, leaving a trail of colorful sprinkles behind her. She was bringing cupcakes to the festival, what would a festival be without free food? She baked them all by herself and she was gonna bring them so someone other than her could enjoy them. Tay held a box full of them in her paws, careful not to let it slip or squish it in any way. It was quite a walk to the park, and the only way to get there faster without the use of her hands is if she rode a skateboard. She walked down to the basement and found her old skateboard, it will take twice less time now, that is if she could stay on it for more than 5 seconds. She slowly got on, ready to balance herself, and the instinct came pretty easy. Once she got to the park she set her cupcakes down on the table and put them out neatly in three rows. She sat down on a chair with her lantern on the table, setting out a sign, and smiled brightly when other songrems finally noticed the words "free cupcakes". The thing she was most excited about was to see the faces of the happy songrems that taste her cupcakes.

Heylel stood at the edge of the pool, taking in the sights of songrems setting up around him.The energy and excitement was contagious! You can feel it radiating off of everyone in waves. He himself was practically shaking in anticipation of later, when he and Blitz would set up their fly-a-duck game. It had been a huge hit during the testing phase but this would be their first attempt on a larger scale. And the prizes weren't just lemonade. Instead, they had homemade crafts, plush toys sewn by Blitz himself and several other items. This was going to be great! Now all he needed was for Blitz to return from the smoothie booth and he could run and get the game supplies. Normally it wouldn't matter if Blitz was there yet, but they had the perfect spot picked out and didn't want to loose it. Especially since, with so many songrems running around, it would be near impossible to get another spot easily. And besides, this one had the best views. Maybe he could convince Blitz to grab him a funnel cake once they got set up. After all, next to the games, his favorite part of festivals was the amazing food!

Malibu loves the festival, it is probably one of the only reasons she moved here. Most of her family moved from the island to a city closer to the shore. Excluding her father of course which she still desperately searches for. After the festival, she would like to go visit her family for a week. It would be nice to see her mom again, she's been living alone for quite a long time. Malibu wants to someday continue her search for her father, and maybe visit some tropical islands on the way. Right after the festival though, she would like to go home and rest. She's typically a very energetic songrem but being in a crowd all day tires her out. The pool noodle jousting also tired her out and she hopes to sit on the couch all day and enjoy some Dr.Pepper. She will invite some of her friends for a TV show "tournament" where they watch TV shows and eat various sorts of snacks and see who stays up the longest. She is also looking forward to getting her first pet after the festival, the new pet shop opens! It's strictly reptiles though so she will have to choose wisely. (Some might be poisonous.)

Day #13

Eclipse sighed, staring at the sunset fslling behind the water. He held his sparkler as it slowly but surely wen out, he grasped the stick and held it tightly. "What have I done here? I showed up late and now I havent made many friends." I cant help it that im clumsy. He laughed. Eclipse got up and threw the sparkler out walking away from the setting sun. He looked back once. Then turned away, having an uneasy face. Then, he bumped into someone. Being the clumsy excitable songrem he was. Coincidentally it was Shelby! He met this gal the other day, "Im so sorry Shelby! I didnt mean to bump into you!" He laughed rubbing the back of his neck, and flicking his tail.

Shelby nodded, "No no its fine!! We both werent paying attetion! Haha" she snickered as she watched Eclipse flick his tail back and forth. Shelby then waved her goodbyes after talking to Eclipse for atleast half an hour, she then made her way over to one of the stands, "Excuse me do you have any special items left? I got here a bit later then I expected!" She laughed, then coughed and stopped as she saw the stand tender was not amused. They quickly and, quite rudely if she may add, commented "Nah sorry, were all out. Now scoot along." She huffed and walked away. "Obviously im great at conversation and making friends."
