Hey guys, remember to read more about him! He generally doesn't play with others, nor communicates with others UNLESS they happen to have the similar personalities, interests or ideas. He is VERY pompous
affectedly and irritatingly grand, solemn, or self-important.
"a pompous cat who pretends he knows everything"
He acts like he is the most important thing in the world and he wants everyone to know about it. It's more often that cats and dogs DON'T like him WHAT SO EVER. However, with good reason, cats have been known to like him or him to get along with them.

I thought this form had an amusing way of dealing with his highess' gloating and pompousness. Congrats Placebo!
Placebo wrote:Username || Placebo
Name || Hira
Named for the Tengu spirit Hira, known for its watchful nature over the Hira Mountains and its position as Jirōbō, third of the great daitengu.
Nicknames || Hagane & Kurogane
Means Steel and Iron in Japanese, respectively
Gender || Male
Collar || Black and Gold Arrow Collar
Personality
Easygoing & Unhurried ||
Despite Hira’s sophisticated appearance, the handsome tom doesn’t come off as very intimidating after first glance. Not much seems to faze him because it takes so long to get a stronger reaction than casual approval or level-headed refusal out of him. Hira prefers to simply go with the flow since he doesn’t contain much of a strong bias towards anyone or anything outside of his family group. It often leads to him slithering out of tough situations since he’s not prone to escalating conflict, but also leads to him wandering a ways from home since he doesn’t offer much pushback when faced with difficult situations… He eventually makes his way back home, but he sure does take his sweet time about it, especially since he’s a “path of least resistance” type of cat. That doesn’t make him inactive in the slightest, however. He grew up around playful dogs who loved to roughhouse, so he never truly lost that kittenish spirit within him that loved to make new friends and explore. Hira’s just not too “gung ho” about anything, really. But he always comes off as unintentionally sly when he struts around town or in his neighborhood with a secretly amused expression on his face. He’s not up to anything mischievous… as far as you know.
Affable, Diplomatic, & Logical ||
The most iconic trait about Hira is his uncanny ability to diffuse rough situations. He’s not too big on compromise concerning himself since he’s alright with acquiescing to an opposing party, but his polished words are able to smooth any ruffled feathers in order to mediate, given time to do so. Since he doesn’t hold very many strong opinions, he tends to act as a neutral party and can view stressful situations from enough angles to give better perspective, and coupled with his benign nature, it takes a great deal of pressure to get him to lash out towards even the most cruel personalities.
How does he feel about Asriel? || Hira honestly finds the tom curiously entertaining and clever under all his grandeur.
Kurama (The dominant tom in Hira's home, so to speak) holds a similar sentiment, but the instances are few and far between with the grouchy male, and Kurama’s desire to rip Asriel’s head off isn’t lost on Hira. So the dark-furred tom tends to try and make nice with Asriel alone, and away from the dominant tom in his home. Of course, Hira’s affability towards Asriel might just be because Hira doesn’t really mind Asriel’s long tirades about himself. Hira’s perfectly content with lazing on a wall and hearing Asriel stroke his own ego while Hira offers his own off hand hum of agreement to at least make it seem like the lackadaisical tom is listening. Asriel’s home does have some of the best sunspots, after all. And, well, they came from similar breeders too — Hira feels a sense of camaraderie with Asriel, and doesn’t want to become his enemy just because Kurama doesn’t like the proud tom. Asriel definitely seems to enjoy the audience. Well, when he doesn’t notice that Hira drifted off during one of his speeches, of course. Hira’s been startled awake more than once by Asriel’s offended hiss after dozing. Good thing Hira knows just how to disarm the ruffled tom and get Asriel to crack a smile and self-important look with a well-placed compliment about his lineage.
