Why are they so restless?: Oskarbi is an overly active Kalon. He tries to lay down and go to sleep, but the urge to do something and move around over powers any sort of drowsiness, which causes him to stay up, sometimes even staying awake for days at a time. He lays down, closes his eyes for a few minutes, then snaps awake with the urge to pace around, and usually follows his instincts. In order to sleep, he usually has to do something high-energy, get the desire to move around out of his system, and then he can finally rest, but even then, hew only sleeps for a few hours before waking up again. Most of it is simply due low melatonin and higher energy and sugar imbalances.

Alaric has insomnia, so he can't sleep. But, he's still sweet. Poor Alaric has insomnia already making it hard to sleep add stress to impress to the list along with doing well at everything and getting in time for video games... it's a whole different story.
