Jisho's favorite flower is a Middlemist Red because he believed it healed his mother, who he grew up with. Jisho was never able to speak to ask his mother what was wrong, but she was very sick. He could tell that she was growing weaker every day. When the day finally came, he saw something. It was a flower. Jisho went to pick it up and saw that it was dying. He let out a soft sigh and brought the flower to his mother, who was also dying. He doesn't really know what happened, but within a month his mother was better, but what made him frown was the flower, which was all scrunched up and browned.

Rabbit-Eared Cactus

Darius entered his apartment and sighed. The plant he'd worked to hard to raise had died. It was the fourth death that month.

“I don't get it!” He grumbled l “I work around plants all day! So why do mine keep dying?”

He dumped it out of the pot and into the garbage, and went on with his night, still peeved.

Darius walked into his job the next day, he worked as a flower arranger at a florists. All the bright, alive flowers annoyed him at first, reminding him how awful he was at raising plants, but soon he got lost in his work. He almost didn't notice as his friend from a neighboring business, Karma, walked in. She was holding something behind her back, and was being tailed by members from another nearby store, Ophelia and Juniper.

“Darrus guess what!! We got you a c-” Juniper was cut of by her mother. “It's a surprise, remember?”

Karma went up to Darius. “So I know you have some, trouble, keeping plants alive, and my mom actually had the same problem! We -”

Juniper cut her off, impatiently. “We got you a cactus!!”




Karma gave her a look, but pulled the plant out from behind her back. It was a small cactus, with a single yellow flower sprouting from it. “They take a lot of work to kill off, so it seemed like a good idea.”

Darius looked it over for a second, and smiled. “It’s beautiful!”

Weeks later, Darius walked into his apartment, tired from a day’s work. He looked across the room and smiled to see his cactus growing another blossom.

What is his/her favorite flower and why:
The lotus, meaning purity and beauty. How could Belle not love this perfect flower? Not only is it gorgeous, but Belle can't wrap her head around how it manages to stay afloat through it all. She respects it immensely, and tries her hardest to have as many as possible in her home. She wouldn't exactly be lying if you asked her if it might also be their coincidentally similar color palettes and she responded with a huffed "yes."
