Dirty again. You cringe as you lift your hands, pale green eyes
looking over your drawing scars. The smudges graphite all over
your arms and hands.. your fingers, and the page. Why the hell
do you have to be left handed? Your nimble, young fingers lift
the mighty pencil once more, and you vigorously begin erasing
your mistake. This art piece was important to you in many ways.
you would not let it be ruined by some mistake in the way your
brain was wired. Air fills your lungs as you take a deep breath.
That’s when you see it. Out of the corner of your minty green
eyes. The sunrise, marking morning. Were you up all night again?
You stifle a yawn, fingers grasping carefully at your cheek. At
least your view from the second floor is pretty. You always were
more of a morning person than a night person.. something was
just so much more beautiful about the sunrise.

Your eyes wander.
Your heart ponders.
The sun really is
quite beautiful today.

blink against the sudden light. You should probably get back to

Writing: evelyn opened the door to her parents cafe, and yawned sleepily. her parents had left her a note saying they ran out early, so the moment she finished breakfast she raced over. surprisingly, the cafe was closed, but she could hear something in the back. she carefully walked to the back, and saw her parents rushing around. she stared shocked at the mess. "what-what happened?" she asked, tip-toeing inside. her mother jerked her head to her, and sighed relieved when she saw her. "a man is coming to inspect the cafe, so we're.. cleaning up." she explained. evelyn raised an eyebrow. "then why is the back such a mess?" she questioned, her father still hurrying around. she watched her mom search for words, and she got up. her mother looked over to her husband, but her father didn't notice. she turned back to evelyn, crouching down. "daddy spilt something. why don't you go play with your friends?" she suggested. evelyn watched as her mother hurried back to her father. evelyn opened her mouth to argue, but kept quiet. she turned around, digging her paws into the pockets of her hoodie. she walked back out, wondering. she kept her head low, and put in her earbuds. she came to a park, and sat down. she played with her hair, constantly going back and forth on assumptions. she finally decided her parents knew what they were doing, and quitted her worrying. she pulled up her legs, hugging her knees against her chest.
