Dear Journal,

I am so amazed at what events transpired yesterday. It honestly has blown my mind. I still haven't fully wrapped my head around the issue. As I was heading towards the rink, I noticed a strange kalon hanging out near the center. He had a long, blue scarf, and deep red eyes. In his paws was a camera, and he seemed to be looking for something. I paused when I passed him, my breath billowing in a cloud of frosted smoke in the cold Minnesota air. "Can I help you?" I inquired, my curiosity piqued. He seemed a bit startled that I had spoken to him, and jumped at my words before stuttering out. "Um, Y-yes. I'm looking for an ice skater. Who I've been told frequents in this area. Well, a male ice skater, to be exact. His name is M-morrison Mask, and he's quite tall with orangey-brown fur...." At my light smile his words trailed off. Recognition flashed in his eyes and he immediately held out a paw in apology. "Yo-u must be M-morrison. I'm sorry for not realizing that sooner!" I nodded, taking his paw and shaking it. "Yes, that would be me." I slung my skates over my shoulder. "And who are you? I didn't know I had any fans." The other kalon lifted his camera, tapping the side gently. "Parvati Picard Bianchi, reporter for the Cook County News Herald. My, uh, boss wanted me to take some pictures of you while you skate for the paper. Is it alright if I watch you practice?"

At that moment I was too overwhelmed to respond. After collecting my thoughts, I dipped my head. "I would be honored."

I still find it hard to believe that the paper is interested in my skating. I never thought it good enough to warrant attention. But I have a copy of the front page here, with a photo of me plastered across the cover. [329/500]
