story; The young kit bounded around the grassy clearing, her paws hardly touching the ground. "Helena! Its time for bed!" The voice of the kits mother called out. "Aww," The young kit pouted. She ran back into the hollowed tree where her family was. "Can I have a story first?" Helena asked, fluttering her eyelashes. "Fine, run to your grandmother," Her mother sighed. The kit smiled with glee and walked right up to her grandma. "Can i have a story? Pleeeasee?" She smiled. "Of course Helena," Her grandmother smiled warmly at her. "Legend say, there is a red thread that ties you to your soulmate. For example, my string tied me to grandpa!" Grandmother said. Helena giggled. "More! More!" She said. "Alright. One more story featuring the red string of fate involves a young boy. Walking home one night, a young boy sees an old man standing beneath the moonlight. The man explains to the boy that he is attached to his destined wife by a red thread. the man shows the boy the young girl who is destined to be his wife. Being young and having no interest in having a wife, the young boy picks up a rock and throws it at the girl, running away. Many years later, when the boy has grown into a young man, his parents arrange a wedding for him. On the night of his wedding, his wife waits for him in their bedroom, with the traditional veil covering her face. Raising it, the man is delighted to find that his wife is one of the great beauties of his village. However, she wears an adornment on her eyebrow. He asks her why she wears it and she responds that when she was a young girl, a boy threw a rock at her that struck her, leaving a scar on her eyebrow. She self-consciously wears the adornment to cover it up. The woman is, in fact, the same young girl connected to the man by the red thread shown to him by the man back in his childhood, showing that they were connected by the red string of fate."

Helena was stunned. "Wow!" She exclaimed. She could feel her red string already. She giggled excitedly at the thought of having her own soulmate.

The cold putter patter of the rain outside was all Andy could hear.He had been inside for about a while now,staying in the comfort of the hollowed out tree that he had called home for the past three years.He could rember the time were he had been bullied away from his family and had to take shelter.He touched the flower that was on his head and plucked it off,nuzzling the petals.

What was wrong with Andy,why did he have to like the things that the little girls like.He felt the tears well up in his eyes.Picking the flowers from the garden outside where the patch of wild flowers that spread all around the thick meadow.He had always come here for comfort when he was being harassed.Always been his little home away from home.He sniffed the flowers,feeling something wet press against his nose.

"Uck" he yelled a little,pulling his head back.He had looked down at what had touched him.Below his paws laid a small little mouse with a case of muddy nose.He was about to show the little thing away when the mouse had laid a hazel but in front of him,backing away slightly."for me" he said,picking up the nut.The mouse had tooken this as a hint that his gift was revived and climbed on the kalons paw,looking up at him.Andy looked confused,raising the law too his face.The mouse had crawled up to his snout and by his ears,resting there.Andy rolled his eyes a little bit but little chuckle."fine,but your not staying there."


That was three years ago.The mouse had been long since passed away and left Andy alone in the tree that he and his mouse friend once shared.

"panic at the disco? didn't know you were into that, raul." lindan's voice interrupted the looped song as he sat right beside his best friend who's laying on the grass. "honey, you don't know many things about me." raul replied, adding in a quiet laugh. lindan elbowed his shoulder gently and giggles softly. they both had been friends for years now, a close bond between them exist. they had always by each other's side. many joked that they should just marry each other already, raul would reply with a joke and lindan would laugh it off usually. "the moon is beautiful today, the stars are complimenting him." lindan stated, laying his head on raul's stomach. "damn you're heavy." raul teased again, voicing it as if he's being impaled by something heavy. it was replied with a light punch to his legs and a quiet laughter from both of the kalons. lindan hits raul pretty often but it's all playful-like, sometimes it hurts since lindan is surprisingly strong, but raul managed. "but you're right, it's shining so brightly tonight, quite romantic." raul paused and looked over to lindan on his abdomen. he's looking at the sky with eyes obviously trailing off, as if thinking something. there's no kind of emotion portrayed on his face whatsoever. "hey, don't be sad, okay?" raul spoke, worry in his words. he doesn't like seeing the usually cheerful lindan being all gloomy. "you're moving tomorrow, how could i not?" lindan's voice showed more emotion than usual: sadness. he gets up and lay next to raul on the grass, sighing. "we can always text and call each other. use video calls and all that." lindan consoled him, voice a bit cheery to try to lighten the mood. however, it doesn't work, lindan only stayed silent and his eyes was stuck to the sky. raul sighs and took his phone which was playing the song semi-loudly. "welp, i gotta go, pack everything up tonight." song still playing, he shoved his smartphone into his breastpocket and sits up. he took a long sigh and stretches his body. looking for some final words before leaving, raul took a deep breath and gazed towards lindan. "i'm sor-" his words were stopped by a kiss. it's not a deep, passionate kiss, just a childish, playful-like one but somehow, it holds a meaning.

on that night, as if on cue, it rained lightly. the pitter patter of the rain accompanied each of the kalon's confession's toward each other. they were soaked, but that was their last night together, they wanted to feel like they're the only ones in the word. they told fond memories and cherished every moment. one of them left the other the next day, to far far away.

Occasionally, her mom would let her go out to explore the woods, hoping her daughter may get SCARED and not want to go back in (for her sake of "protecting"). However, that didn't happen. Instead, while exploring the woods one day, she found an injured wolf pup. She had immediately brought it back home, urging her mom to let her keep it, but as her moms eyes were terrible, she assumed it was dangerous and had immediately told her to put it back out! She did, but brought some healing items with it, and a few days later, it was healed. Turns out the wolf pup was a he, but had no mother. She couldn't become his mom, but she could be a friend! She named him "Ramon" (just cause she liked it) and they played together until, on a stormy night, her mother had to move. but before they could say goodbye, her mother pulled her away.


Rose was sitting alone at a lake,(as an adult now) staring into the water. Not just any water. The same water she and Ramon had sat at all the time and played at. She wondered, "Where is he at? Is he alright?" As she thought this, as if he read her mind, he said "I'm alright". She turned to see a big burly brown wolf, looking at her. She didn't recognize him at first, bur after a few seconds, she ran to him. "I've missed you" she said, staring into his eyes. He smiled. "I've missed you too."

"What did you do to me?"

"To start it off, I was once I was in a relationship with another dude named Etoile.
We were your typical couple, but there was one thing I didn't know:"
The small Kalons gaze drifted.
"well, you'll find out later.
I got a text from my neighbor, saying
'Yo! Can you keep it down over there?! I'm trying to sleep!'
There was no noise that I heard of, so I replied,
'What noise? You must've gotten the wrong neighbor'
They said they did and they were sorry,
so I continued on with the night,
and then I got a text from the name neighbor, saying:
'It wasn't my other neighbor, so it must be you'
I was confused, so I did further investigation.
I yelled down to Etoile, who was probably on the first floor on our 3 floor house, asking:
'HEY, IT THERE ANYTHING LOUD DOWN THERE?'
He didn't reply.
I was both even more confused and worried, so I went down stairs."
Naim sighed
"I couldn't find him, so I continued my search.
I searched every corner of the house, and there was no sign of him.
I checked my phone to see if he texted me that he was going, and he didn't.
'Etoile?'
I yelled.
He still didn't respond, so I grew even more worried.
I then texted him,
'Hey, where are you?'
No replied.
I started to panic.
I texted the neighbor,
'no one but me's in the house, and I don't recall turning anything on.'
They replied ok, and I soon came to the conclusion that I should go back to sleep."

"When I woke up, I saw a text from Etoile,
'Hey, I think we should break up.'
I was curious on why he was breaking up with me, so I texted back,
'Why?'
'Because I met someone else, someone I have more feeling for than you, and I feel like if I'm with them, I'll be more happy.'
'Who are they?'
He didn't answer the question.
"I'm sorry. It's done.'
I was extremely depressed, to find out he had feelings for someone else, but then he texted me with worse news.
'Also, I've been cheating on you with them for around 3 months, so I have been with them, and those months were the best months of my life, outside of being with you'
I was done.
'Alright. Have fun with your new boyfriend or girlfriend, or should I just say your boyfriend or girlfriend.'"

"I still wake up and check my phone to see if he texted me,
and it became instinctual because of the amount of time we were together, which was 4 years."
He hesitated,
"I miss him, way more than I should."
