personality:
isaac is extremely quiet and reserved. he's always
had issues speaking up and he's always the one to
sit at the back of the classroom. he has extreme
social anxiety and is always very uncomfortable
when others talk to him.
why so hurt?:
isaac is an abuse victim from his mother; she was
an alcoholic since the day his father had left. It
was terrible. She'd get frustrated, be it at him or
something else, and use him as a punching bag.
It all ended when he went into school one
morning as a second grader with a bruise on his
temple. His teacher sent him to the office so they
could make sure he was okay.
but he wasn't.
Since that day, his mother was arrested. His best-
friend's family took him in and raised him, but he
never felt like he belonged and quickly withdrew.
He began only talking to his new family and rarely
interacted at school.
Things got difficult when he got into highschool.
So many new faces quickly over-whelmed him. His
parents had requested because of his state that him
and his 'brother' be put in all the same classes,
which definitely helped. If there was ever a group
project his brother would go up to the teacher and
just say, "Isaac can not work with anyone else, he
needs to work with me," and quickly explained what
had happened.
His brother quickly found a new friend group. It was
a bunch of random people who had similar interests.
Isaac would hang out with them, but they didn't
really know much about him. When Isaac was sick at
home one day all of them questioned his brother, who
told them. He specifically requested they do not say
anything to him as it will just make him upset.
But theres always that one friend that doesn't listen.
The next morning the one friend asked Isaac what it
was like, being super oblivious. Isaac stared at him,
then turned and ran away. He went up to his
homeroom, which was the only teacher he trusted. His
teacher let him stay up there for a bit until he felt
better, then sent him down to his first class.
