Before I make my final decision I just want to quickly critique everyone's forms.

snowball. - Your story is heartwarming and your imagery really sparked my interest.
ĸιndle - your story was unique, but I was looking for more depth (tattoos are forever so I feel they shouldn't be picked on a whim).
Anza - Your structure and content were fabulous but I did not feel you answered the prompt (or perhaps I just didn't 'get' it).
Noxyum - I was really getting into your story, it had such potential but it is unfinished.
paws00001 - I appreciate a story about youthful rebellion but I felt there wasn't enough depth.
+ Dark Age + - Again, a story with a lot of potential but I feel it could have been fleshed out more.
The Worst Username - Really well written but I feel you rushed the ending, the link between insomnia and tattoos is unclear.
~Neon_and_Lylia~ - I could not accept your form as it was written past the announced due date and that would not have been fair.

With the above in mind I would like to award HMs to Anza and The Worst Username.

The best stories for me are the ones that evoke powerful emotions. I was getting teary at the beginning and then elated at the end. Awesome work!

Anyways, congratulations to snowball.

I gave a limit I know, of 100 - 500 words. Using the word limit to your advantage is always a good thing to do. I feel almost like your story would have been better off as a poem. In my personal opinion it needed more explanation, more background. Does that make sense?

First of all, congratulations snowball.! I read through all the stories, even though I'm not the judge, and I definitely liked yours. Congrats to Anza on the HM as well.

Otherwise, thank you for the HM and the critique! You're right that the story was rushed; I was near the word limit and I probably should have looked over the story before I posted it.
